New client at this place, and the staff was friendly, doctor was super nice, warm welcoming environment and help me out what I needed!

I recently got vision insurance through my work. I tried out Custom Eyes based on product availability and location convenience. I wish I had known about them years ago when I started seeing an optometrist. There was only a few minutes of down time. The entire staff was very personable and friendly. The doctor never made me feel rushed and was perfectly happy to answer any questions I had. After my exam, a staff member sat one on one with me to discuss exactly what I would pay for new glasses with my insurance plan. Everything was fast and clear and easy. Love this practice. read more

I have been going to Custom Eyes for a long time (5/6 years). My daughter is in optometry school in Philadelphia , and and really keeps an eye on Popsters. She makes sure I have the correct glasses and prescriptions. You know the old role reversal syndrome. LOL I have been so satisfied with all the attention and service I have received with Doctor Bourgoin. The staff always remembers my name, even when I just walk in off the street with a stupid question. I have frameless Marchon Airlock 2 frames with progressive/transition lens's at their recommendation. I have been so happy with the entire setup. I am a contractor and thought for sure I would break these glasses the first day. The only problem I ever had was the bridge over the nose metal fatigued and broke. They happily repaired them. The bridge took a little longer than expected, so they did the repair for free. Needless to say I was very happy. read more

I have been going to Custom Eyes for several years and have great service every time. All of the staff is very professional and friendly and Dr. Bourgoin really cares about his patients. I have never had to wait for an appointment. Dr takes his time with me to assess anything that might be affecting my general health or eyes. I highly recommend this practice for all of your family. read more

Great experience. No waiting! Friendly staff. Super helpful picking out frames. Very excited about my new glasses!

Dr. Bourgoin and the staff are fantastic! I recently went in for a Saturday appointment and my wait time was very minimal. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I truly appreciated the fact that Dr. B explained everything to me and was quite personable. I also appreciate the fact that they were prompt and did not pressure me into anything. I highly recommend you stop by and give them a try. read more

I was not happy w/this place. Dr. Bourgoin was not thorough w/his exam (he did not give me the glaucoma test that is standard w/every eye exam). When I went back a 2nd time & requested this exam, I asked him why he didn't give it to me. He gave me 2 reasons: 1) I came to my appointment late & he didn't want to go over in time as he had another patient after me, and 2) the test is not that important. I apologized to him for being late & told him that I called ahead of time that I was going to be late. *When I called at that time, they should have requested I reschedule if I was going to run into another patient's time instead of forgoing a standard test for which I was going to be charged. **They weren't even going to give me that glaucoma test if i hadn't requested it. Also, I kept pointing out to Dr. Bourgoin that I had a stye. He kept telling me he couldn't see it & didn't know what I was talking about. Um...if you're an optometrist, then shouldn't you know what a stye looks like? Ughhhh!!!! A week later, I went in for my follow up contact lens check (my 3rd visit). I was seen by Dr. Yoo this time. She gave me a prescription for my contacts lenses & eyeglasses. I ordered my eyeglasses from them. About 2 months later I finally received my new eyeglasses. I noticed after 2 weeks my eyeglasses did not appear accurate as it gave me blurry vision. I thought I needed to simply adjust to the new prescription & new eyeglasses so I continued wearing them for about a month and a half more. By this time my vision was still blurry so I returned to see Dr. Yoo (now my 4th visit). All she said was my prescription is accurate & w/eyeglasses I would not have 100% accurate vision - only contacts gives you 100% accuracy. Um...what? I don't know what she was smoking, but I thought prescription eyeglasses were supposed to give you accurate vision. Realizing that you just can't reason with bull s#*t, I did not say any more except to thank her for her business & walked out. It's been 6 months & when I wear my eyeglasses, one eye is still blurry. Double sigh... This place lost my business. I shouldn't have to make 4 trips for a standard eye exam...especially one that gives me an inaccurate prescription! I'll be going back to my other doctor who is more thorough, takes heed to my concerns & gives me accurate prescriptions. read more

Super friendly staff, and always welcoming. Dr. Bourgion is always attentive to your eye needs and is up front and honest of what you need. Definitely check them out!! read more

Great experience! Short wait time, efficient and thorough exam. Highly recommend.

Best doctors ever! Ive been here multiple times for yearly check ups, new glasses, etc. just the usual eyeglass wearing person issues. Wait time was great. Great facilities. Easy and plenty of parking. Doctors here are very honest and dependable. I recently got lasik and I completed all my pre op and post op appointments here. Although I probably don't need optometrists anymore assuming my lasik holds up I would recommend them to everyone and I have. read more

I have been going to Dr. Bourgoin for almost 10 years now. He and his staff are always friendly, professional and go above and beyond to take excellent care of their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Bourgoin and Custom Eyes Optometry. read more

I've been going to Dr. B for almost 4 years now and could not ask for a better optometrist. Lets just say when my optical insurance changed two years ago, I still go to him even though I have to pay out of pocket. Also, I live about 400 miles away! He makes the eye exams very comfortable for his patients and his staff are top notch. Facilities are very clean (as they should be in a doctor's office). Located in a shopping area by Road Runner Sports across the street to The Triangle (formerly Triangle Square). Parking is fairly easy. Thank you Dr. B and staff! read more

Very friendly, efficient office staff. Dr Bourgoin is great. Very thorough and I feel confident with his level of knowledge and experience.

I went here two weeks ago because I have been having issues with my eyes. I am eighteen and they treated me with a great deal of professional respect that I was pleased with. It was a very smooth appointment, and I now have a new pair of glasses I am in love with! read more

Best Optometrist ever....I have been with this doctor now for 10 years plus, always helpful, professional and gets my vision even clearer, sharper with newer prescription glasses. My husband and I went here to get our eyes checked out since our new insurance covered it. Everyone in this office is so welcoming and friendly. The exam was very thorough and the doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable about the questions we had. We would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a honest, warm and welcoming office and has any problems with vision or just wants a checkup to see how their eyes are. read more

My review starts from the moment I made the first phone call to schedule an appointment I felt great. The staff there is amazing! I recommend this place to everyone I know. They really try to help you with everything! From dealing with insurance, to paperwork, to the glasses that best suit your budget and style. The doctor there is very patient and takes his time with your visit. Seriously not enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Excellent service all around. Glad to say I finally found my optometrist! read more

This is my worst experience at an optometry in 30 years. A friend referred me to this place. I regret changing my eye doctor. I repeatedly complained about the incorrect prescription, blurry, vision, redness in the eye. I even suggested there may be bumps under the eyelid. The doctor ignored my complains saying its just dry eyes. He charged my insurance for the eye exam. I was not at all happy with the prescription. I visited a ophthalmologist to check on the redness. She was quick to find out the bumps under the eyelid and prescribed correct medication. It would have turned much worse if I had kept relying on Custom Eyes Optometry. I took an appointment with my old optometrist and got a prescription. I had to pay out of pocket as insurance pays for just 1 eye exam a year, But it was worth it. I wouldn't recommend Custom Eyes Optometry to anyone. Really bad experience.I regret going here everyday. It forced to take time out to write this review. read more

I am very satisfied with my vision care from Custom Eyes and Dr. Burgoin. The entire time s staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Burgoin is excellent at explaining what is going on with my vision, and I can tell that he cares about his patients. The staff are excellent with fitting frames and handling billing concerns. Custom Eyes is a great place for your vision care. read more

Everyone was very friendly and professional. Minimal wait time and great explanation of all that was being done during the tests and how things looked. First time there with the wife recently after always going to Lenscrafters. Found a gem and will continue to use Custom Eyes Optometry for all services in the future. read more

The doctors here are a husband and wife team. Their staff is helpful and knowledgeable in helping one pick out frames that would be flattering as well as what is desired. Dr. Yoo helped me and recommend that I get new reading glasses, but said new distance glasses were not necessary. I like how honest they are here, and they do not want you to have to buy any extra pairs of glasses that are not necessary. She helped me to know good vitamins for the eyes, and recommended eye drops without preservatives because I have really dry eyes. I am very happy with my doctors and their staff here. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The doctors are personable and thorough in their examination. They make you feel like family.

Both doctors are fantastic. They take the time to explain everything. When I moved out of county I still came back to them to check my eyes annually. I definitely recommend them. The entire staff is also very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. read more

I have been going to these 2 optometrists for many years. They are very thorough and consistent. The staff is great too!

Yes they are nice and want to help. Be aware that you only get one redo of your RX within 3 months if it isn't correct. I was never made aware of this. Every change you make to get your rx right you have to pay for. If it's not right you have a $400 doorstop. I got the exact same Candies glasses online for 50% less. Update: I had an eye emergency a few weeks ago and went to Dr Dan Carver. It was the most thorough eye exam Ive ever had. I had previously been told by Dr B that I was getting cataracts. No only do I not have cataracts (just the natural clouding of the lens that comes with age) but I don't have a hint of cataracts and I have the eyes of a 20 year old (I'm over 60). My insurance does not cover dr carver but I will pay to get a quality exam read more

great customer service from every single person in the office! the front desk guy ben was so helpful, and my doctor seemed to really care about my eyes. she was so friendly and polite as well. :) i got cute new raybans, that i love so much! i got them back in only 4 days, fast turnover. love it! referring them to many others! read more

Dr bourgin and the staff are great. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and my appointment was so smooth and easy, and right on time!

What an amazing experience! My 95 year old grandma has many eye issues and despite having numerous eye appointments with other Doctors, was not offered any solutions for her declining eye sight due to her age. This was NOT the case with Dr. Bourgoin. He was incredibly thorough, patient, kind, and the greatest of all, he found a prescription that will allow my Grandma to go back to reading and doing her puzzles! In addition to having a fantastic Doctor, the office is delightful as well. The office is clean, organized, and visually appealing. The Office Staff are second to none. They are all very kind, compassionate, helpful and professional. Kimchi helped us check in smoothly as new patients. Morgan was so kind helping my Grandma pick out frames that suited her prescription needs. Marissa helped maximize my Grandmas insurance benefits, and even kept her calm patience despite them hanging up on her multiple times. It is obvious they are a terrific team and they are a credit to the office and the Doctors they represent. Overall, if you are looking for an Optometry office that has it all, look no further, you found it :) read more

I started seeing Dr. Bourgoin a few years ago. The first time I saw him, I explained that I wasn't a fan of my contacts because they were the annual-replacement kind and custom fit for my eyes. I wanted something that allowed my eyes to breathe more and that could be replaced easily if I lost a contact or whatever. He was able to fit me for 2-week contacts and fit the contacts so that I didn't have to get the custom fit ones either. He's very informative and helpful, and willing to answer all my questions and listen to any problems I may be having with my eyes. read more

Dr. B is just the best. I think I've been going there for three years now and he explains everything he is doing just like it is my first visit. He really cares about my optical health and I will continue to visit him for my yearly checkup. The staff is always just as nice as the Dr. Thanks for caring!! read more
