In one word I would describe the Oakley HQ as WICKED!!! I was very impressed when my brother, his family, and I had the very fortunate opportunity to tour the facility. We had such an AWESOME time. The staff was professional and courteous. What impressed us most was their staffs' knowledge and love of the products themselves. The HQ was super clean and it looked like it was straight out of a movie set. As a Cali native, Law Enforcement officer, and Military brat Oakley has given so much to our military and we'll never know the half of it. On behalf of my family and I, WE'D LIKE TO THANK OAKLEY FOR THE COMTINUED SUPPORT AND ALL THAT YOU DO FOR OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MILITARY FAMILIES. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! read more

I had an issue with my new Oakley Blades that required an exchange. The Oakley rep Alex Mejia was exceptional and went way above my expectations. Thank you Alex! read more

Dealt with store by phone in attempt to get a pair of expensive glasses fixed. Customer service was horrible and repair was rude. They treated me like dirt. I ended up having them send my glasses back unrepaired so I could stop the frustration and loss of time. I'll NEVER buy oakley glasses again.... or ANY of their products. Companies like Oakley represent the failure of corporate american work ethic. Oakley sunglasses are expensive to buy and twice as expensive to fix when you factor time and effort involved. read more

I took the long drive down to get a replacement lens for my shades which i scratched. I only had the shades for about a month I had the special MLB Flak with the team logo etched on the lens so i knew i had to come here for it or at least special order it, I called they quoted me 60 for the lens and 20 for the etching dang oh well bite the bullet then so I get to this place wow is the scenery amazing around this building kinda like a battle ground just mountainous kind of like training facility lol anyways was in the store and the guy referred me another room in the building so went and talked with another guy he checked the system and said they had 2 upstairs so it will be about 10 mins so i said cool they came down with it he replaced not just the scratched one but the other one as well cleaned them and charged 55 bucks i was like sweet. Also another cool thing here is if you have any discontinued Oakley shades you can trade them in for a new pair with 25% off the cost not bad i just may have to look for my old ones and see if any of them qualify lol. Def will be coming back here. read more

Great place to shop for anything Oakley. The staff is super helpful and will go out of their way to find what you need. Only place I go to buy my Oakley gear read more

Very inviting! We went because this is our local shop and my wife's lens popped out. The gentleman who helped us not only fixed her glasses, but showed us just how strong they were by doing a demonstration. He even showed us the museum. This is our new place to buy! read more

This review is directly against Oakley's Prescription customer service. The above mentioned address is listed as the HQ of Oakley and had to be chosen in order to post my opinion. I am currently on my second pair of Oakley perscription glasses. I enjoyed the first pair so much I thought I'd be a loyal customer for life. My second pair of Oakley's are very nice however the nose protection items called crosslinks' whore very quickly. I returned to the place of purchase and they immediately ordered replacements which has been over 38 days ago. When I questioned why the replacements were taking so long, I was told Oakley didn't have an estimated date when the replacement part would be restocked. I waited another two weeks and called again. My eye glass supplier gave me the REF #, express their disappointment in how the situation was being handled and suggested I call myself. I couldn't believe how OAKLEY handled my call. To paraphrase, "we don't have an ETA on when the replacements will be ready and that is the black and white of the situation." After asking if they were possibly discontinued I received... "OH, I don't think they have been discontinued, don't think so and wish I had more to tell you." I got absolutely no answers just like my eyeglass store. So this is my last pair of OAKLEY prescriptions glasses. My unsubstanciated assumption is that they care more for the sunglass division then their prescription division. Time for new glasses - Time for a new vendor! read more

A couple of weeks ago I ordered 2 customer pairs of Oakley sunglasses. The store said that they had them "in stock" and I ordered 2nd day air packaging. After a week to ten days the sunglasses had not shipped. I called the corporate store and they said that some of the parts were on "back order". The biggest problem I had was I was ordering the glasses for a corporate event and was on a deadline. I had to cancel the back ordered pair and just go with the one pair. Even then, it was shipped out late and didn't get here on time. It was really inconvenient and a misleading that they would say the pair is in stock when it really wasn't. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars and not 1 is the fact that the glasses are awesome. Just wish I had been given proper expectations. read more

This place is huge hah. Everyone I encountered at the employee store was friendly and attentive! The process to get sunglasses and apparel was super easy and the people working in the store were very helpful. Great employee prices/discounts. Overall awesome experience. Picked up my new prescription sunglasses in less than 7 days! Visited the store that's open to everyone/the public and they have a free glasses washing machine! So cool! read more

The front lobby personal behave the way like you are there to steal their glasses. First, they didn't let us in and talked to us so rude. Then, my cousin who works in Oakley came to show her card. Then, they checked our glasses to see if they are Oakley brand, we can't go in with them. I am on my way to another glasses shop. Oakley lobby personal on April 3 from 3:50 to 4:20, your behavior was too rude. There was no negative rate here, otherwise I would have had negative point here for Oakley. Frustrating. read more

This place is great. They've gotten REALLY tight with security since I've been there. It seems like some of the LE/Fire/etc. have kind of taken advantage of the discount program. It's sad they ruin it for all of us. With that said, discounts are discounts and Oakley makes quality products. read more

FYI --- ******WOMENS' APPAREL have been DISCONTINUED******* Also slimming down their apparel overall and they will no longer have caps or socks. Come this January 2017. Had some trouble ordering glasses through a Call Center in Mason, Ohio and eventually ended up talking to Alex D. in Lake Forest, California (witch to find out is a Retail Store and Manufacturing Facility). Side note... If you get a chance, Google Oakley at 1 ICON, Foothill Ranch in California. The place looks amazing! Alex was able to determine what the problem was and satisfied our concerns in a timely manner with more than adequate follow through. Hopefully I don't disrupt their Call Center but I will likely order my future purchases through Alex! Thank you Alex for your support!!! Steve in Newark, Ohio. read more

Simply the best optics in the business. I've owned a decent amout of their sunglases, snowboard goggles, clothing, and I can't find a better game in town. I'll give Dragon Optical a close second, but the fit, use, and aesthetics can't be beat for me personally. I swear by them. read more

Company is ran by a handful of morons! Their advertisement is completely misleading. They say "free two day shipping". It fail to mention they can take how ever the hell long they want to take then send it "two day" shipping!! Last year I ordered a pair of gloves for work and they never sent me the gloves. Never bothered contacting me. I waited a while then called just to be told they're moving the warehouse and probably can't find them. This company is garbage!! There's better companies out there than Oakley's that actually care about their customers. read more

I have been coming here for years. The place itself looks killer, and the people working are always very helpful. I have bought over two dozen pairs of Oakley's over the years mainly for a couple of reasons: The quality and the fact Oakley stands behind their product. I have came to the customer service department a few times and they replaced my glasses for free, or a small fee due to some scratches and other issues that have occurred. Any other manufacturer would have sent me on my way, but Oakley stands behind their product so I will continue to be a customer. read more

Went here to pick up a pair of custom made sunglasses. This place is really cool, its like a fortress! I got to try out all different kinds of glasses and Janene, the salesperson was very helpful. She was able to help me customize my glasses and explain the difference between the styles and lenses. When the lenses I wanted were damaged and the last set in the whole store, she helped me ensure that when I returned home, my local Oakley store would help me to replace the damaged lenses free of charge. This place rocks, a must see for Oakley fans and anyone trying to customize glasses! read more

Every time I go shopping I am amazed how great the service and how everything is easy to find. I love shopping at this location!!!

Oakley sunglasses are terrific. If you are a fan of Oakley sunglasses, then you should visit their headquarters in Foothill Ranch. Just the building design is pretty awesome to see. There are plenty of pictures sent from other reviewers. Seeing the building in person is even better than viewing the pics. Service has been good on our 3 visits here over the years. Wish we still knew somebody who worked there though. Unfortunately, we don't get those invites to the annual sale where huge discounts were given. Oh well, still a great place to go to. read more

Can we say Blade Runner? This is one ominous looking welcome from the parking lot. Excellent view of the city below. Inside, one of us had our sunglasses repaired for free while the rest of us shopped. Now I am not familiar with their selection, but I can easily tell you this is a showpiece of a merchandising outlet. They must hold parties in here, because man, there is so much room you'd think you were in one of those empty hangers down by The District. Two quick notes: First, there's a mini history museum of advertising and products towards the back of the store. Just ask. Second, according to the cashier, no warehouse sales were scheduled last year, and there's none in the foreseeable future (as far as he knows). We were there during one of their post-holiday sales, and many of us scored deals far better than we imagined. Items were generously discounted, and my best friend even got some new eyewear for racing. Don't know the next time I'll be up here, but I'd bring a diehard fan up here for sure. read more

I love my Oakley's!! I mean what other brand has a futuristic looking manufacturing plant, history museum, and store all in one place?!!!!........It's like you step away from reality for a few hours into Oakley universe. Every time I go all the employees are helpful and always have a great attitude. The place gets packed at times so I suggest you go early. Btw once you get a card from there do not lose it. That card allows you to enter the store and if you lose it, they they will not give you a replacement card. Thank you Oakley for showing support to Law Enforcement and Fire Departments!! read more

This review is primarily for how totally cool the design of the Oakley building in Lake Forest is. Super futuristic inside and out. I felt like I was in a high-end sci-fi movie and absolutely loved it. The store itself had a nice selection of clothing and accessory items, but if you want to see a really cool, unique building in SoCal - it's worth stopping by. read more

I had a similar experience as Ed V. and would definitely discourage anyone from ordering prescription sunglasses from Oakley. The frames are nice but the lab customer service leaves a lot to be desired. My first set of sunglasses were also ordered correctly by my optometrist and I received them in about a week but Oakley messed up when they made them. I had to send them back. I received the 2nd pair reasonably quickly (1 1/2 weeks) but the lenses got tiny scratches on them only weeks after I began using them, despite the scratch resistant surface and great care on my part. When it was time for a new prescription, I decided to give them another chance, especially since I still had my very expensive frames and they were in good shape. I ordered new lenses and sent them my old sunglasses. I was told I would receive them back in less than 2 weeks. 3 1/2 weeks later, I still had not received them. My optometrist contacted Oakley and we were told it would be at least 4 weeks since I had sent them "my own" frames. Rediculous! I canceled my order and I was told they would ship them back to me within 24 hours. I received them back 2 weeks later! How's that for customer service? No more Oakley for me...ever! read more

The hours of operation is Mon-Friday 10-5pm. The factory is closed to customers but there's a makeshift retail shop in the parking lot below the main parking lot.. They still have leo .. just tell the guys at the retail tents in the parking lot... it's still at the 4th large spike... thank God. DO NOT PURCHASE OR CONTACT ONLINE, THEY ARE USELESS. GO DIRECTLY TO 1 ICON, THEY WILL HELP YOU GET $HIT DONE. read more

If you are a Fan of the Oakley brand, then this place is a must gotta go, put this on your bucket list place to be! I was doing a sales call at Oakley for work, since this is the corporate headquarters, and I must say that this is probably the coolest company headquarters ever! It is like a theme park there. Between the "Oakley Tank", Helicopter Launching Pad, and the Grand Front Entrance; I was taken back. I was looking for the entrance to the rollercoaster, but the receptionist told me that it hasn't been built yet...Stay tuned for that on my next visit to this magical place. read more

Extractor Sling Backpack poor design The strap is very short and would not fit around me at its longest. I tried the bag on my 12 yr old son and it barely fit around him. Very poor design. I contacted Oakley to see if they would send me a longer straps and they told me no and to just return it.. Very poor customer service. I will not be purchasing any Oakley products in the future. read more

Oakley headquarter is located on top of hill. Most of visitors will feel it's part of theme park, probably batman's cave. Awesome. Still an excellent product and a nice location to have at the corporate headquarters. I have to ding off 1 star because of my customer service experience. Although the representative assisting me was knowledgeable of the product and very friendly, however I did not appreciate the fact that he was asking me if I wanted my loose change or not since I paid in cash. He was telling me that people usually don't ask for their change but I have no idea what that is about and I always keep my change because it is my money! So please tell your employees working the front to just give the change without making it an issue please. Thanks. read more

Came in to get my crosslink pitch nose pads replaced. Store is kind of small but enough to have you interested. The odd thing about my review is that I'm a huge Oakley fan. My wife and I have many pairs of Oakleys between us and we've actually been to HQ twice now. It's a great place to visit, especially for someone as in love with the products as we are. However...the reason for my review is the major disappointment in their inventory. They have some great stuff for sure, but the key items I wanted to purchase were nowhere to be found. The company as a whole is awesome, but some of their practices need fine tuning. All in all, the HQ is an awesome piece of architecture that's always fun to see, the warranty department has been greatly helpful both times we were there and the staff (most of them, anyway) have been helpful and pleasant. If you're a fan, a visit to HQ is definitely worth looking into. read more

Not much to say... this is where it all began. I just come for the walk in customer service. They can usually fix it all over help you get a replacement. The line can get pretty long so come with some time to burn. The store is is hit or miss sometimes they help you sometimes they ignore you. Either way come knowing what you want to buy because most of the workers don't know what is what? It seems to be a common issues at most stores. I think the employees goal is to sell clothes and not glasses. Anyways the walk in service is great, Jordan is the guy you want to see. Perfect customer service and answers all your questions until you get the warm and fussy about everything. read more

I went in to shop in the employee store on a day they had it open to law enforcement officers. Saved about $40 trading in my scratched up discontinued Oakleys. (Bought on eBay, without receipt or warranty) My experience with the customer service was pretty good. The guy in customer service warmed up to me when he knew I was not wasting his time but serious about buying. He helped me with my many requests, gave me a good deal and gave me 2 extra microfiber cleaners. Doesn't hurt to ask for extras. -They have Asian fit sunglasses in stock (Never seen it in other stores) -If you don't see the sunglasses your interested in on display, just ask because they do have more sunglasses in stock in the back and upstairs (employees only). -I recommend shopping here if you live 30-40 miles away and want to upgrade (trade-in) sunglasses or replace lens. Its a lot faster than calling them up, sending it in, waiting and such. -Pretty cool place to visit if your a mega fan. read more
