We heard from the news that is one of best pizza whole over the world and we tried again. Right, the pizza is to die for. We tried a special pizza genovese with mozzarella, sauté onions and beef, and was more than delicious. Carmine ,the pizza chef champion is always my favorite, he is consistently great. The young chef from the kitchen came out, introduces himself and suggested us to try something different, he made for us an appetizer with ricotta, zucchini and bottarga ...omg so yummy... , a mussels sautéed,and a spaghetti with clams and bottarga . The freshness of the ingredients made this plates unforgettable. The best sea food I have had in Miami since long time. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner too, a very sweet and smart young lady, very professional, humble and honest, she is very focused on authentic dishes made with the best ingredients. Last month I finally decided to try their pasta, hoping that (unlike it happens when I have a pizza) I would then still have some room for trying their desserts. That day they were also offering spaghetti with zucchini flowers and scampi. I love zucchini flowers, which you rarely can find here (and are outrageously expensive when you do), and regarding the Scampi, I was curious to see what they were going to serve: would I get the American "shrimp scampi", or an actual Scampi (which is the Italian word for prawns)? Imagine my joy when I saw the "real" scampi on my pasta! And with this, this restaurant re-confirmed its Italian authentic cuisine. If I could, I would rate them 10 stars! Was told by an Italian friend that this was THE spot for authentic pizza. It did not disappoint. My boo and I went classic with a calabrese pizza (tomato, mozzarella, spicy salami). It was perfect - nice crispy crust, flavorful tomato sauce, gooey cheese. We also opted for the tagliatelle cacio e pepe with fresh truffle since I was craving pasta. Both dishes are definitely shareable, but make excellent courses for just one person. I was really pleased with the portion of the pasta dish as some other places can sometimes disappoint. The food is always good but the service is spotty and the attitude from the servers annoying. They can leave you waiting for long times at the entrance, ignoring you, even after making eye contact. While their attitude may be almost passable in Italy, is considered rude here in the U.S. They should focus more on learning the American standards of greeting and the norms of how to treat clients, otherwise people may go elsewhere. read more

I love everything about this place! The location- corner pizzeria with wrap around outside patio, inside is high vaulted ceilings, blessed with an angel that's from Italy! Literally shipped from Italy! Everything all the little decorations, napkins all have a special touch. The best is the pizza and the customer service. Exceptional! This may be the most overrated pizza I have ever encountered. Tasteless, spongy, flaccid crust and bland ingredients. Several friends had raved about it, and we were eager to try it, but my husband and I were beyond disappointed. We tried a Margherita pizza and a ridiculously overpriced ($28) mushroom pizza called Troisi. One of the best Italian pizza in South Florida, no doubt about that. I went already a few times to O'Munaciello, tried the Margerita DOP, Sciosciammocca, 4 formaggi (cheeses) with San Daniele, the Capricciosa, the Cuore di pistacchio and the Positano. All very good, made Napoli style: a soft thick crust and a thin base. This is authentic pizza from Italy, and you know that because you can eat the whole pie (pretty big) without feeling super full. In most places I have 2 slices of pizza and I feel like I immediately gained 6 pounds. What makes this a Napoli pizza is that, as said, it is light, but very tasty. Ingredients are generous and fresh. The service was good. Now, to be honest, the fact that this is authentic Napoli pizza (Neapolitan) might mean little to many; to me it's big, I am not from Napoli, but I am Italian and when done well, there is nothing like a real Italian pizza, full of flavors, filling but light at the same time. I actually went there from West Palm Beach, about 55 miles north of the place and the main reason was for the pizza, so that's says it all. I wish we would have these guys in Palm Beach County. The prices are good for the quality, size and ingredients of the pizza (we are not talking peperoni pizza here, we are talking some pizzas with porcini and truffle, some with mortadella and fresh pistachio pesto and so on). The other dishes might be a nit pricey, as others said here, but still not crazy (understand, I come from Palm Beach County where a lousy spaghetti Alfredo can be sold as Italian for $ 25!). However, honestly the pizza is too good here to try other dishes (for me); there are other Italian restaurants in Miami for other authentic dishes; not many others that can make pizza like this. read more

I don't know how this place has so many good reviews. I ordered a bruschetta which was okay. Then I ordered a sausage and potato pizza. This was the most bland thing I've ever ate in my life. Potato's had no season and sausage just had no flavor. I would think for a "gourmet" pizza at $29 it would at least have some flavor but I was disappointed. I hate having to write this review as I know everyone is just trying to survive right now but on that note I think customers should be getting quality food when choosing to spend money supporting local restaurants. Unfortunately my $45 order was mostly inedible. The chicken Milanese was pounded so thin and so overly fried it isn't cut-able. When I ripped a piece off it doesn't look like there's much chicken in it at all. The eggplant on the side was cooked until it was rubbery. The Cesar salad, seen below, is soaking wet shredded iceberg with a dribble of dressing and ripped up bread as croutons. The eggplant Parm appetizer was decent but cold. I think the restaurants doing limited menus that can be properly executed have the right idea as it doesn't seem they were prepared to serve all of these dishes. read more

This place showed up on my IG and then we read up on it on an app NewsBreak as having some of the best pizza in the USA, so we knew we had to check it out as we're pretty pizza obsessed. The place itself is about 15 minutes from the airport and 10 min ride from the Brightline on a quiet street. It's very European from the inside, and very charming. They proudly showcase all of the awards they have won, and rightfully so. They also proudly showcase their love of European soccer! We sat down and immediately ordered some Italian wine, and the waiter took our food order. They have videos of Italy playing in the background. We started off with the cacio e pepe which was cooked to perfection, and had lots of flavor, it was delicious. For the pizza, we went with Stracciatella, which was excellent. The olive oil they give to you for dipping is great too. Great meal, I highly recommend checking this place out. Although we did not order dessert, it did look fantastic. read more

First off, this place has great Italian food. We did delivery and ordered a few pizzas and salads as well as the eggplant parm. They forgot the one of the salads. We called and the owner went out of his way to send over the missing salad. He added a piece of pie as an apology. That's what I call great service. How do you say "Not Impressed" in Italian? I'm always up for trying a new Italian place and saw that Munaciello was in my way home. The rave reviews caught my eye but I guess I should have done a little more research. For starters, the menu tilts a little seafood heavy for my preference. I did find a few items that got my interest and gave it a shot: the zeppoli and the San Danielle pizza. For one, they brought my pizza before the appetizer. I realize that's a little OCD so I won't penalize them on that. But still, just two pieces of bread? While the oil had a little bit of a kick (possibly from red pepper flakes) I did have to remind them to bring it out. Anyway as far as the pizza, the crust was standard brick oven flakiness and loaded with cheese, prosciutto (though lacking in salt) and arugula. Any semblance of tomato was also lacking,. I realize that arriabata is not northern Italy, but still I would have expected some tomato. At least the greens and the cheese were fresh! My appetizer arrived after the fact, and I ended up leaving the straciatella cheese and the zeppoli which were too greasy for my taste. One could even smell the grease! The only thing I ate was the the prosciutto which at least was appropriately salty. I even mentioned the greasiness to my waiter when he came to ask if I wanted the full dish to go. Y'all know I usually get dessert, and was going to order their berries and cream cup when my waiter left the menu. However, the menu was left a while after which I decided to just cut my losses and leave. As some others mentioned, the service was slow and very leisurely. My waiter only came around like once. The restaurant didn't even seem very full. Speaking of, I was going to sit at an empty table which I was told was reserved. No one sat there the whole hour I was there. To their credit, I think they recently opened. Heck, the receipt just says "Restaurant Name". I'm willing to chalk all of these miscues to growing pains, but I think it'll be a while for me to return. Non impressionato! read more
