Dino's As with most changes in ownership, the inevitable…read moremetamorphosis has begun beyond the claims and beliefs of being able to remain the same. Staying the same requires resisting desires to make it your own, which is where the transformation begins. What was, was the vision and passion of the former ownership, their heritage, recipes, flavors, ingredients, processes, skills and experiences, all make up the "what was", that can't be duplicated and therefore will be replaced. A simple cause and effect as increasing the griddle temperature by a few degrees to produce food faster may seem innocent enough however, it changes much. Take breakfast for instance, increasing the griddle temperature, now instead of the tender perfectly cooked egg once produced by the loved previous cook, you get a crispy edged, incompletely cooked albumen egg, and that's assuming the yolk didn't get broken [as received] in the process. Or perhaps the hash, it takes time to produce the crisp crunchy edges that add to the enjoyment, not heat. Increasing heat can [and did] produce a sheet of nearly burnt fat and overcooked to nearly mashed potatoes, instead of the enjoyment of the crispy blend of individual bits of meat and potatoes that defines hash. Changing products, if it's an upgrade, that's good, it shows a priority to the customer and not to cost. Example, previous breakfast patties were soft, tender, and flavorful, now, well let's just say I think I have shoes with thicker leather than the current flatten product choice and quite possibly better flavor and texture, which suggests the a priority to the latter. Knowing changes will and have to occur, choosing which change to make can be telling, for instance, the choice to reduce portion sizes [though might be a good thing for the excessive Americans] over price increases will always be debated. The staff and customers offer favorable comments to additions to the menu, which of course can be a plus, draw attention, and potentially increase patronage. However, if it's simply doing the same as every other restaurant, it's not really special, no passion, just copycatting. Hopefully, they will be so wonderful and different, they will stand out from all others. But I doubt it, the additions have been done by so many, so many ways, they would have to show a display of exceptional culinary skill, one that I don't see here. Best to focus on mastering the basics first, such as toasting bread virus warming to make toast. I write this only to neutralize the possibly of any unrealized expectations. Dino's as it was, is gone, slowly morphing into what it will be. Not bad, not good, simply different. I will continue to patronize, as it's still a good place for a meal, however, probably not as frequently, for now.

We then decided to make the drive to Levi's Commons hoping to take in some incredible ice sculptures. Most of the sculptures we saw at both locations were business logos... a bit of a disappointment. We decided to take a chance on trying Perrysburger's in downtown Perrysburg beacuse it was later in the afternoon. I had been there a few times several years ago not long after this eatery opened their doors. We were immediately seated and while we were looking over the menus, all the other tables were subsequently filled and a line began to develop. We timed our visit perfectly! We ordered Fungus Amongus and Let's Brie Friends burgers along with the unending fries. Small restaurant with only a handful of tables, one server, and the grill chef - that's it. Burgers were well seasoned and good tasting. In my opinion, these burgers were on the medium-well side of the spectrum, so a bit over done for me. The fries = yum! Reminded me of a shoestring type version of Berardi's in Sandusky Ohio. These fries were nicely seasoned and done to what I would call, perfection! Even with every tabled filled and a line of hungry patrons, the food did not take an inordinate amount time to be served. Impulse purchase homemade cookies were located at the register. We obliged and purchases one of each flavor - choc chunk and oatmeal with butterscotch and walnuts. Overall, price was moderate as to be expected for a downtown P-burg location to cover costs for this husband and wife owned/operated business.

Friendly ambience and comfortable booths seats along with friendly waiters made ordering very easy. The names of menu items were humorous and had everyone excited. I ended up getting the Popper which was the first burger I've ever had that has cream cheese in it. It was a solid option and the portion size was great. I really enjoyed the endless fries though they give you so much that most people don't actually take them up on it. The fries selections were well thought out to, offering things like Parmesan fries, waffle fries, sweet potato fries etc.. overall great option and would definitely go again!

I ordered 3 over medium eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns and you wouldn't believe what the server brought out. The hash browns were so disgustingly greasy (literally in a pool of vegetable oil) and uncooked I was offended a server willingly walked that out to a customer. My first plate had the aforementioned hash browns which were neither 'hashy' or 'brown' in any way, but also had l eggs that was overcooked on the outside while having raw whites and yolks on the inside. My sausage was also pink in the middle. I sent the hashbrowns and eggs back and received over easy eggs (not over medium as ordered and still inexplicably overcooked on the outside) and hashbrowns that were still uncooked but less greasy. My wife received fried potatoes that were still FROZEN in the middle The server stated that the grilled doesn't work right and the cook doesn't know what he's doing. The server never sent a manager over and took my meal off the bill, but didn't comp my side or my orange juice, so we left paying 30$ for a breakfast that neither of us enjoyed. I don't complain about anything ever, but that's a pretty TERRIBLY managed restaurant that serves inedible, undercooked food. On top of that the customer service email on the website doesn't function; you can't message the official company facebook page and none of the countless complaints on google reviews have any reply's so the message I am recieving as a customer is "we couldn't possibly care less about your terrible experience". Also, the responses from "Kelly" on here instructing customers to visit some weird link to the company website to address their concerns (which 404's btw) is insulting and more evidence of a complete lack of care on behalf of upper management. There is nobody you can complain to and nobody trying to improve Our experience was so bad that my wife who formerly championed Scramblers now will never step foot in one again.

This time I got a waffle and a side of bacon. The Bacon came out very burned and the server acted surprised that I wanted it sent back. She did so without a problem. Of course then the Bacon came back looking like it was undercooked. The waffle itself was pretty decent and the service was okay I would go to the other location on Secor Road.
