We were in Downtown Perrysburg for the 2026 Winterfest to take in what we thought was going to be a plethora of grand ice sculptures. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. We then decided to make the drive to Levi's Commons hoping to take in some incredible ice sculptures. Most of the sculptures we saw at both locations were business logos... a bit of a disappointment. We decided to take a chance on trying Perrysburger's in downtown Perrysburg beacuse it was later in the afternoon. I had been there a few times several years ago not long after this eatery opened their doors. We were immediately seated and while we were looking over the menus, all the other tables were subsequently filled and a line began to develop. We timed our visit perfectly! We ordered Fungus Amongus and Let's Brie Friends burgers along with the unending fries. Small restaurant with only a handful of tables, one server, and the grill chef - that's it. Burgers were well seasoned and good tasting. In my opinion, these burgers were on the medium-well side of the spectrum, so a bit over done for me. The fries = yum! Reminded me of a shoestring type version of Berardi's in Sandusky Ohio. These fries were nicely seasoned and done to what I would call, perfection! Even with every tabled filled and a line of hungry patrons, the food did not take an inordinate amount time to be served. Impulse purchase homemade cookies were located at the register. We obliged and purchases one of each flavor - choc chunk and oatmeal with butterscotch and walnuts. Loved my first visit to this place! It was during the winter festival and this burger joint was conveniently located downtown. Friendly ambience and comfortable booths seats along with friendly waiters made ordering very easy. The names of menu items were humorous and had everyone excited. I ended up getting the Popper which was the first burger I've ever had that has cream cheese in it. It was a solid option and the portion size was great. I really enjoyed the endless fries though they give you so much that most people don't actually take them up on it. Tiny little burger place with HUGE flavor. I always appreciate restaurants that have a very limited menu - because it means that every item on the menu is made with skill and care. The place really is super small, so I'm curious about dining in during a rush, but fortunately we came on a Thursday evening around 7, where the dinner rush was just beginning to taper off. Anyway, the place had good toons, clean and friendly atmosphere and good service. If you are in the area, you NEED to eat here. I had the Jiffy - a burger with peanut butter?! But yeah, it slaps! Thanks to Toledo's Reddit we found this place for our stop between chicago and buffalo, close to I-90. The burgers taste freshly ground; the varieties and toppings are inventive as well. These are "chef made" burgers and i have no critique. The buns are firm but sweet, brioche? Condiments seved on side which is great. We had the fungus and the jam, pictured. The regular fries are amazing if a little salty. Ordering again we would add pickles for some acid and crunch. My wife prefers these to chicago's famous cheval burgers. We got there at 6:15 on a pleasant May night and were seated right away. There's not much seating inside (maybe 9 tables?), but there's at least 4 more outside. The server was very friendly, sweet, and helpful. We got the Five Alarm burger and the Fungus burger, both with the black bean burgers instead of meat. The Five Alarm burger is not for you unless you love it spicy. I liked it, my daughter tried a bite and her lips were burning for a good 10 minutes. She really liked her Fungus burger. I had the rosemary truffle fries and she had the garlic Parmesan fries. The flavor of both were outstanding, but the fries themselves were a little soft. Why not 5 stars? We really enjoyed our experience here. We wanted to make a visit to this establishment two or three months ago, but it had not yet re-opened. So we were glad to see that it was open for business on this visit. We visited on a wonderful, rare 70-degree November day with blue skies. The outdoor seating offered a great opportunity to enjoy the weather. This small, cozy shop in the small downtown-proper area of Perrysburg is a great location. Parking seems to be little problem with the angle-in slots lining the downtown streets. The mode of operation was walk-in to order, then the food was brought to our table. The menu was replete with some very creative burger options. They also offered some Sammie choices, which were intriguing as well. Maybe next time! We found that the prices were reasonable and that the service was quite good. One of their features is the availability of any burger with alternative meat, such as chicken, or a vegetarian option. Indeed, I chose to get the Let's Brie Friends with the Black Bean substitution. This was prepared from cracked peppercorn, roasted tomatoes, brie cheese and garlic puree. The black bean delivered an excellent taste with great complementary flavor from the condiments. My wife opted for the more traditional Perrysburger. This is the tried-and-true American specialty with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup. She was quite happy with it. She was able to take half of it away, so it's a decent size sandwich (1/3 pound). I will also note that each of our burgers were accompanied by very good fries. All drinks are bottled at the moment, so we chose water to drink. Hence, with the burgers, a small tip and tax, our final total was $27. At $13.50 per person, the value was more than acceptable given the quality of the fare. We'll definitely look forward to our next visit. read more

In a word: disappointing. I called in a pick up order and the hostess/waitress who answered was not only rude but rather off putting. Seeing this was the first time ordering from here I had questions about their menu and I could tell she was annoyed. After placing my order she hung up on me. She never bothered to tell us how long it would be, our total or anything. When I called back she mumbled our total and when I asked if we could pay via phone, she said no and once again hung up. Honestly I should've called a third time and canceled the order but we didn't because we always heard good things about this place. Not sure why considering our experience, to be honest. We show up at the time we were instructed and the lady who hung up on me during two calls asked for my name and took my card for payment. That's it. No "have a nice day", "thanks for the business" NOTHING. Now, for the order. Food was COLD and made incorrectly. No condiments even though they were "part of the burger". I would give the food a 5 star rating as it gave a little more than what was expected for the price; however, because of cleanliness I gave it 3. The Fungus Amongus although simple, was perfectly paired with the garlic purée. The cook of medium rare was done perfectly and was light and airy. The fries were cooked to perfection with the right amount off salt. The semi concerning thing... the floor of this kitchen is a disgrace and looked like there was "fungus among the floor." Despite the fungus floor the stainless steel side of the deep fried station looked clean. I suggest if the kitchen is visible from the dinning area then it should look as clean or cleaner than the dinning area. Not that the dinning area was that clean either at first glance it looks okay until you look around at the dust hanging from the light fixtures and windows so smeared it distorts the view of the neighboring auto mechanic. My thought is for the time being I would not return unless some major improvements were done to the cleanliness of the kitchen. It's a shame because the burger was rightfully good. read more
