Thanks to Toledo's Reddit we found this place for our stop between chicago and buffalo, close to I-90. The burgers taste freshly ground; the varieties and toppings are inventive as well. These are "chef made" burgers and i have no critique. The buns are firm but sweet, brioche? Condiments seved on side which is great. We had the fungus and the jam, pictured. The regular fries are amazing if a little salty. Ordering again we would add pickles for some acid and crunch. My wife prefers these to chicago's famous cheval burgers. These don't overwhelm one with beef, so if you'd like that, add a patty. They gifted us a spare bun for our carb hungry toddler which we appreciate!

We got there at 6:15 on a pleasant May night and were seated right away. There's not much seating inside (maybe 9 tables?), but there's at least 4 more outside. The server was very friendly, sweet, and helpful. We got the Five Alarm burger and the Fungus burger, both with the black bean burgers instead of meat. The Five Alarm burger is not for you unless you love it spicy. I liked it, my daughter tried a bite and her lips were burning for a good 10 minutes. She really liked her Fungus burger. I had the rosemary truffle fries and she had the garlic Parmesan fries. The flavor of both were outstanding, but the fries themselves were a little soft. Why not 5 stars? The soft fries and the price. $44 (before the tip) for two pops, burgers, and fries is a bit much.

Food is high quality, looks like it's straight out of a magazine. The fries are insane

Amazing little gem! Had the fungus with chicken and parmesan fries! Absolutely delicious!

I loved two foxes in BG before they had to close due to Covid. For the past four years, I've been looking for a burger that will even come close. And I finally found it, and the same people are behind it. Best burger within 45 minutes of Toledo and the fries are endless.

I went to this place frequently when they opened and it was great and just recently came back into town and gave it a try again. It was even better than before! Fresh food made to order and top notch quality. It is not a huge building but the ambiance and quaintness is hard to find nowadays. Service was incredible and a must go to if you want a great burger and endless fries!

The best burger and fries I have ever had! We had the Fungus Amongus Burger and it was definitely worth it!

We really enjoyed our experience here. We wanted to make a visit to this establishment two or three months ago, but it had not yet re-opened. So we were glad to see that it was open for business on this visit. We visited on a wonderful, rare 70-degree November day with blue skies. The outdoor seating offered a great opportunity to enjoy the weather. This small, cozy shop in the small downtown-proper area of Perrysburg is a great location. Parking seems to be little problem with the angle-in slots lining the downtown streets. The mode of operation was walk-in to order, then the food was brought to our table. The menu was replete with some very creative burger options. They also offered some Sammie choices, which were intriguing as well. Maybe next time! We found that the prices were reasonable and that the service was quite good. One of their features is the availability of any burger with alternative meat, such as chicken, or a vegetarian option. Indeed, I chose to get the Let's Brie Friends with the Black Bean substitution. This was prepared from cracked peppercorn, roasted tomatoes, brie cheese and garlic puree. The black bean delivered an excellent taste with great complementary flavor from the condiments. My wife opted for the more traditional Perrysburger. This is the tried-and-true American specialty with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup. She was quite happy with it. She was able to take half of it away, so it's a decent size sandwich (1/3 pound). I will also note that each of our burgers were accompanied by very good fries. All drinks are bottled at the moment, so we chose water to drink. Hence, with the burgers, a small tip and tax, our final total was $27. At $13.50 per person, the value was more than acceptable given the quality of the fare. We'll definitely look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I saw this place was very well recommended on yelp & google so we decided to give it a try. Our server was very nice and checked on us the very few times she's was able to. I ordered the Texas Burger and it was very tasteful. The only con about this place would be the wait time to be seated & served. I'm not sure if they always take long or if they just happened to be understaffed.

I consider myself a bit of a burger "snob". That being said you would be remiss if you didn't visit Perrysburgers in downtown Perrysburg. The service is amazing and it's only bested by the food they offer! The hamburgers are out of this world. The ingredients are always fresh, the combinations that are on the menu almost force you to come back regularly so you can check each one off the list to try! It's a must if you love a true burger, and the fries are endless!! Bonus!!

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.

They make their ranch in house so I also always order a side of it to dip my pizza in. My husband got the Melty Mozzarella Sandwich after hearing their soup of the day was tomato bisque. I liked that the sandwich came with more elements than just bread and cheese to freshen it up. Overall, this is a prime spot to visit when in Perrysburg! I've only been to the Downtown Perrysburg location but have been impressed every time. They have a good variety of beers on tap that they make including some rotating seasonal selections. Not a beer drinker? They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails, wine, and NA options. I've stopped in a couple of times for a casual drink at the bar or to enjoy on their amazing summer patio area. They often have events like live music to enjoy so keep an eye out! This visit, I stopped in for brunch with friends. Their menu is smaller but has good variety and is priced well. I got the Biscuits & Gravy which had a handful of biscuits sauced in their house made gravy and topped with fluffy eggs. Delicious! My friend got the Chicken Salad Sliders which came with 3 pretzel bun sliders filled with yummy egg salad and a side option. He chose their chips which were tasty. My husband got the Chicken & Waffles. This was the most expensive but smallest portion. The sandwich itself was good and comes with a side but side options aren't listed on the menu. The entree was served on a large plate and simply looked small in size. Flavors were good but it left room for more food. Overall, this is a great, easy food and drink spot in Perrysburg. They offer their beers on tap but also some are canned for purchase in the to-go fridge. This is kind of a hard review for me. I REALLY wanted to love this place, but a few things went…read morekind of wrong, and the ambiance, although really interesting, was off. The drinks were good, but again, a hitch. Service too... So, two of us ordered the French dip sandwich. They were just OK at best. Really no flavor, the roll was kind of wrong and the jus was tasteless. I asked (several times) for some horseradish, and I would guess it's still on its way to the table... 2 folks ordered the fried walleye, and one said it was REALLY good and the other said it was really over cooked. 1 person ordered the burger and said it was great. The last person ordered the salmon and did like it. The standout sides were the brussels sprouts and the fries. Both are very, very good. No comments about the other sides. The person across the way ordered the bruleed sweet potatoes and they looked amazing. The ambiance. What a cool place inside. A cool mix of furnishings with some kitsch factor. Not in a bad way from aesthetics, but in practicality, a big miss. When we were taken to our table, we were presented with a 1950's style dinette and chairs. Again, really kitschy, but not at all fun to sit in. The place has a cool mix of all kinds of stuff, but the noise was deafening. We tried to talk to one another, but it was really hard. Just too much background noise from all the people in a concrete, brick and steel room. Too bad. The drinks... So, I took a chance and ordered my martini. I explained how I wanted it mixed, etc. and the bartender did a superb job! Hats off to him for making a great martini! The big issue was one of our guests wanted a Bloody Mary. The waitress explained that they have great Bloody Mary's as they make their own mix. After the drinks were ordered, the waitress came back to the table to let us know they were out of Bloody Mary mix. Mind you, this is 6:00 on a Saturday. That shouldn't happen. The service... All of the drinks were ordered at the same time, and they came out in a staggered fashion over a period of 15 minutes. Same thing with our dinners. Interestingly, the hold up with the entrees was the 2nd French Dip. I would guess if the guy making the sandwiches saw 2 of the same thing on the same ticket, he'd make them both at the same time. That second sandwich took at least 15 minutes to get to the table. We're all being polite and waiting for his meal to deliver so we can all eat at the same time. Cold fish, anyone? And I'd still like to know where my horseradish went. Oh, parking in the lot to the left of the building is stupid expensive. Park in the garage across the street and save $20 bucks. All in all, our check came to about $100.00 for 3 of us. That's without the tip. My meal was a solid 2 to 3-star event but factoring in the others' opinions and negating the Bloody Mary incident and service, I'll give it 4 stars. Pretty sure I'll go back, but probably not too soon.
