Quinoa kale bowl with grilled chicken
    Carlie A.

Lots of indoor and outdoor seating options. Space is accessible for someone using mobility equipment and would be good for groups. Service was prompt and friendly. My husband tried the T-Town lager and really enjoyed it, he said it was light and refreshing. The cauliflower bites with honey sriracha sauce were delightful. Gluten free options are clearly marked and the bowl with kale and quinoa was delicious. Chicken salad sliders on pretzel buns were also yummy. Would absolutely go back!

Food - Great! They took away a few of our favorites, but the items we order now are always consistently good. Service - My only complaint. The bartenders seem bothered you're there. If you are a regular, you will get acknowledged, but other then that, you are ignored. The staff seems to have fun together amongst themselves though! Ambiance - love the outside area.

Stopped in for a midweek lunch, beer flight and TagABrew tag. It was one of few breweries open before 4PM. Lunch was served very quickly, we enjoyed the music mix from70s to current. The quesadilla was crispy and large, filled with a lot of cheese and chicken . The Cobb Salad was fresh, crunchy where it should be. I added chicken which was grilled. The chicken was actually really grilled chicken not strips heated up. The only issue I had which was my fault was that my salad ended up being well over $20. I would return if I'm in the area again.

Fried chicken & gravy biscuit sandwich with the chicken served Nashville style. Pretty serious stuff! Not for the faint of heart.

An airy space with welcoming vibes, a great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. While I'm not a drinker, I've been told their beer is fanstastic. I do know from personal experience what else is fantastic, and that is Inside the Five's bruch! The biscuits are some of the best we've had in the area, and if like me, you order the the chicken and gravy biscut sandwich, and you request your chicken nashville style, with a side of sausage no less... oh my goodness my friends you won't be hungry for days. A suggestion for my fellow yelpers is to either order a side of hotsauce, or some sort of salad because the food is HEAVY, with a desperate need for some vibrancy. But it's barely a complaint because everything is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Casual dining spot perfect for lunch for small groups. Service was quick and friendly. We came on a weekday evening and the room was full but didn't feel packed. Our food arrived quickly and looked fresh and was definitely hot, however the flavor was a bit lacking for me. I ordered a smash burger that was swimming in a cloyingly sweet sauce with under salted fries.

Great place in Perrysburg downtown. Parking on site. Service was real good. The beers are pretty good but you have to do you own flight or flights and decide for yourself. If you like coffee, do a pint of their Hard Cold Brew coffee. The hamburger we had was very good! The IT 5 burger.

New restaurant since we had been back to Perrysburg. It brings a great atmosphere and new vibes to downtown Perrysburg. The food was incredible along with the great service. Lots of beer to choose from along with great food choices. We had salads and the pretzel. The servings are humungous and well priced.

They brew beer (on site) that will please almost any pallet. You're a fan of light and refreshing Wit beer? Yep. How about jet black (essentially) imperial stout? You're covered. Christmas ale and "French toast ale?" You're still good. IPAs, yeah sure of course. At any given time, it seems like GBSB will have between 20 and 25 beers on tap. Is the brewmaster stretching himself a little too thin?? Maybe. I wonder what would happen if they decreased the number of beers brewed at any given time and focused maybe JUST A LITTLE BIT more on quality. Regarding EtOH, they have more than just beer, but every time I've been here, I've only seen people drinking the fermentation of malted barley (and a little wheat). And for good reason...the beer is good! There's no food to speak of, but like most microbreweries around here, you can frequently find a food truck parked outside. The location (on Tedrow in South Toledo) is great. Inside, GBSB is clean and very comfortable. I'd say the taproom could be considered to be a little towards the "sports bar" side of the scale, but still, the TVs are not overly intrusive. Free popcorn. The service has always been great...fast and friendly. The prices? It's craft beer. Regarding the atmosphere again. Great Black Swamp Brewing is dog friendly. You can bring your dog(s) inside. Bring your dog but don't bring your mother-in-law. FOUR STARS, with the potential for 5.

This is Ohio and the weather here 7-8 months out of the year are not a open your windows type of deal. I like beer. I drink beer if Im going to drink most times out. I tried a flight here of 4 of their beers and did not find one that was good. For me. As my man was enjoying the atmosphere I even resorted to getting a glass of wine so we could hang for a bit. Service was just ok. They do have food trucks time to time. None when we were there. I can just imagine how cold it is in here in fall/winter with warehouse type spot atmosphere. Glad I checked it out but don't see any reason to return for me.

This was always one of my favorite spots and I appreciate the variety of establishments available and wanted to include this on my small tour of Toledo. I positioned our stop at the top of the list after a quick tour of downtown and before a visit to the Libbey Glass Outlet and the Toledo Museum of Art. The Oliver House is a historical building with a view of the Maumee River in downtown Toledo. When commissioned by Major William Oliver, renowned architect Isaiah Rogers designed a first class modern hotel and located the building in the section of downtown referred to as the "Middlegrounds". The address is 27 Broadway St., Toledo, Ohio and it is the last remaining hotel standing designed by the architect. Venues: https://mbaybrew.com/ Brew Pub (2nd floor) Rockwell's (1st floor, River side of the building - steakhouse, open for dinner) The Cafe (1st floor) Mutz Sports Bar (1st floor) + Private Events + Museum - Bakery (this was my old favorite lunch spot back in the day) We planned to visit either the Brew Pub or The Cafe for lunch - the menu is very similar, but I had wanted to get a river view for my guest so I leaned toward the Maumee Bay Brewing Company "Brew Pub". Our lunch: combo 1/2 salad with quiche and 1/2 salad with chicken salad sandwich. $11.95 for 2- choice combo. Parking: ample - street parking, parking immediately around the building and a parking lot across the street Service: very good, friendly, efficient, attentive Menu: I will always miss the mussels; but there are still some favorites available on the menu.

We only had 30 guests for our wedding and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. Food was delicious, hot, and all had unique flavors. Which doesn't always happen group dining options. The Oliver House is where I got to marry the love of my life, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Will be dining here for many years to come.

We were here in December so the patio wasn't open but looks roomy with many picnic tables. We opted to sit at the bar because that's usually where we get personal with brew pubs we love to discover. We always search local brews when traveling and 9/10 times the bartender will greet us, ask if we've been there, make recommendations or tell us a bit about the brewery style. Not here. I'm not sure the bartender ever even made eye contact and pretty sure he wanted to be there even less than he wanted us to be there. We did get a few beer samples by request, but no recommendations, he didn't ask what we thought and he made us feel very unwelcome right from the start. However, once that bartender was relieved the new bartender was chatty and friendly to the new customers. We had finished our beers and meal by that time and just needed to cash out. So I would say maybe it's just that one employee. We had the pretzels. Kudos to the pretzel bread-- it was delicious. Beer cheese was pretty good, as was the mustard. We asked about the menu and what he recommends (still trying to be friendly and get him to warm up). He recommended the special menu, so we ordered the Blackened Salmon sandwich. It was okay/average. Fries were cold. We ordered the Table Talk beer and I enjoyed it. I'd say that the beer was the best part of the whole experience. Overall I'm glad we tried it but we wouldn't go back. If the bartender had been more welcoming and interested in sharing a bit more about the concept, we would give it a second try when we head out there again. It's always good to try other food items and beers, but the vibe doesn't warrant a second try. I can understand if a place is busy, but we were there at 2pm on a Saturday and were two of four at the bar and he didn't look to be super busy with the restaurant as a whole. It's always so disappointing when service falls so short on something that could be such a unique experience. Three stars for the beer and pretzel.
