Brunch Review! (Sun 10am - 2pm) Inside the Five has three locations (Perrysburg, Slyvania, & Toledo) and has a great beer/food selection. I've only been to the Downtown Perrysburg location but have been impressed every time. They have a good variety of beers on tap that they make including some rotating seasonal selections. Not a beer drinker? They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails, wine, and NA options. I've stopped in a couple of times for a casual drink at the bar or to enjoy on their amazing summer patio area. They often have events like live music to enjoy so keep an eye out! This visit, I stopped in for brunch with friends. Their menu is smaller but has good variety and is priced well. I got the Biscuits & Gravy which had a handful of biscuits sauced in their house made gravy and topped with fluffy eggs. Delicious! My friend got the Chicken Salad Sliders which came with 3 pretzel bun sliders filled with yummy egg salad and a side option. He chose their chips which were tasty. My husband got the Chicken & Waffles. This was the most expensive but smallest portion. The sandwich itself was good and comes with a side but side options aren't listed on the menu. The entree was served on a large plate and simply looked small in size. Flavors were good but it left room for more food. Overall, this is a great, easy food and drink spot in Perrysburg. They offer their beers on tap but also some are canned for purchase in the to-go fridge. Stop out in the summer to enjoy their prime season and get a DORA cup to enjoy while walking around Downtown Perrysburg! read more

Stopped in for dinner while visiting Toledo and I'm glad we did. They had lots of interesting beers on tap but I ended up being boring and getting a red ale. My fiancé and I both got burgers and they hit the spot. Fries were hot and crispy and service was great. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. read more

We waited to be seated 1 hr. Then we were seated and waited 58 mins for our food. That was only after I asked the waiter Peyton (who could careless), what was going on with our order because 2 couples came in after us and received their appetizers and meals before us. I try not to make things about skin color but this was blatant and the food temperature was not even lukewarm when it arrived. Then my friend asked for the check and he brought it back instantly. We have to wait an hr for our food but you hurry up and get us out of here! Duly noted! I DO NOT recommend anyone of color to patronize this establishment. My husband tried the T-Town lager and really enjoyed it, he said it was light and refreshing. The cauliflower bites with honey sriracha sauce were delightful. Food - Great! They took away a few of our favorites, but the items we order now are always consistently good. Service - My only complaint. The bartenders seem bothered you're there. Solid place overall. Bar area was packed on a Friday night. Probably about half of the tables. Servers were attentive and quick! That always a welcome sight. Food was better than average. Stopped in for a midweek lunch, beer flight and TagABrew tag. It was one of few breweries open before 4PM. Lunch was served very quickly, we enjoyed the music mix from70s to current. The quesadilla was crispy and large, filled with a lot of cheese and chicken . The Cobb Salad was fresh, crunchy where it should be. I added chicken which was grilled. The chicken was actually really grilled chicken not strips heated up. The only issue I had which was my fault was that my salad ended up being well over $20. Still waiting for beer. Waiting for bartender to notice that I need another beer. It appears that if you are a local you getter better and faster service. The other bar keep? Bartender? Cleared other dirty dishes in front of other local people but not ours. This is the worst service I have had in along time and it's my birthday! The appetizer that we had was good, but still have not gotten our food yet. I like writing good reviews but this is so disappointing!---update: we were compensated for the food by the bar keep guy and the food was delicious! But, sticking to the bad service ! An airy space with welcoming vibes, a great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. While I'm not a drinker, I've been told their beer is fanstastic. I do know from personal experience what else is fantastic, and that is Inside the Five's bruch! The biscuits are some of the best we've had in the area, and if like me, you order the the chicken and gravy biscut sandwich, and you request your chicken nashville style, with a side of sausage no less... oh my goodness my friends you won't be hungry for days. A suggestion for my fellow yelpers is to either order a side of hotsauce, or some sort of salad because the food is HEAVY, with a desperate need for some vibrancy. I visited the Perrysburg location. 2) Check their website for beers on tap - there are a lot to choose from; you may want to do a little homework to prepare, but honestly - I almost never do this because I like the element of surprise. But, you do you. 3) Brunch is served on the weekends. I'm having a major case of FOMO for not arriving during brunch hours - but it's on a very short list to do this soon. We originally planned to have dinner here with extended family visiting from out of town over Labor Day weekend- but plans changed due to weather and a smaller group of us (4) stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon the following month instead. This restaurant is a crowd-pleaser. Whether you prefer a soft drink, craft brew, or cocktail - there is something for everyone. The food is worthy of any gastro-pub or high end diner menu wish list. The menu is not too large - but it is difficult to narrow the choices, so we ordered way too much food, but no regrets. I'd do it again. Our choices: We chose 2 starters. 1) the Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and whole grain mustard. The pretzel is the best "large bar pretzel" I've ever had. These folks know beer. 2) Hot honey Brussels sprouts - the family favorite; caramelized and although meant to be served with pork belly, they were out of that until later in the afternoon, so we agreed with substitution of bacon. I know it would have been better with the pork belly - but it was perfection with the bacon, so I'm not sure I could have handled the upgrade. Entrees: 1) Chicken & Waffles 2) Chicken Pico Deluxe: a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of, loaded Nashville fries 3) Half Cobb Salad 4) Kid's meal: Chicken tenders and fries Yep. Four people and four entrees plus two appetizers meant we were destined for at least one box of shame. Portions are large. Quality is excellent. We stayed in Perrysburg during a long weekend and this place was always packed. When we looked at the menu, we could see why. We got the IT5 burger, chicken and waffles, and the loaded Nashville fries. The burger was good, not great, but the chicken and waffles and fries were phenomenal. What I loved about the fries was that they were evenly seasoned before they were plated, so every fry was delectable and they were heavy with the loading. The chicken and waffle was also spectacular and huge, my husband had trouble finishing it. Our one complaint was that for being a brewery, only 1 of the 4 drinks we got were really memorable. I got the spicy jalapeño margarita from the walk up window (bonus! It's in a DORA district and they have a walk up window) one day and that was soooo delicious and they were quite generous with the liquor. The next day is when we ate in and I got the lemon lavender martini and it was good, but not great, and not very strong. We were sat in the jazz room patio at Rosaria's-- it was so unbearably loud and cold, we went to IT5. We waited no time for a table! We got our drinks immediately. Our server, Peyton W, was the best!!! We got the jalapeno bacon balls and the loaded queso to start. We split the double smash burger/bbq chicken sandwich/Greek chicken naanwich/buffalo chicken sliders. Everything was amazing. Their French fries are so good! I cannot say enough good things about Peyton. He was energetic, attentive, he pre-bussed our table more than once, he didn't write anything down-- and our orders came out perfectly! This location is just as good as the original in Sylvania. So good! The variety of beer will please everyone. We had an IPA and a Christmas ale. If you're having a meal, the burgers are a great choice. The service was fast. Even with social distancing the restaurant was busy, in a good way. The restaurant felt safe and I saw them cleaning often. The decor is really nice. The outdoor patio had heaters and people were outside even though it was cold out. Cool brewery in Perrysburg. I stopped here on my way to break up a long road trip. I went during lunch and it was seat yourself. They offered scannable QR code menus, but also had regular menus if you preferred those. They had a large beer selection - i think it was around 20-ish house-made craft beers. Wine options and cocktails were offered too. I had a flight so I was able to try a few of their offerings. The lunch menu was also limited and was a few sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. I tried the jalapeño bacon balls- make sure you order them- they were incredible! Overall, the beer and food was good but service was mediocre. It was pretty slow and not the friendliest. Maybe it was just an off day because it was really busy on a week day for lunch. We loved this place! We came here to collect the tagabrew. So glad we did. This was quite the cool spot. We came in and sat at the bar. The vibe in this place was great! We enjoyed learning about this place which was founded by two guys who played football for MSU (Go green! Go white!). Both went their separate ways and played for the NFL on different teams. They kept in touch and then opened the brewery together. (why Ohio though??!! Lol!) We didn't eat here but probably should have. The food looked amazing. There was a ton of merch and the beers were quite good. We loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff. There was something to see everywhere you look. They have a great happy hour. They have trivia nights. You can have them cater for you. You can buy kegs of their beer or their wooden beer barrels once they are empty. Had lunch here today with four of my neighbors. First time here for me, but will be back. Decor was simple urban, with door/windows that opened to connect the exterior patio. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. The food was great! One friend had the chicken salad sliders and commented that the pretzel buns were warm, and had been brushed with a little honey. She loved them. A second friend had the full size kale quinoa salad (with cranberries, nuts and I think apples) with added chicken and balsamic dressing. She too loved it, and easily took home half for another meal. My choice was the half southwest salad with added shrimp. Yum! I asked for and got the chipotle lime dressing on the side because often that combo is too spicy or strong. Not here. It was creamy and had the perfect blend of spices and lime. The shrimp were delightfully charred and may have been marinated or brushed before grilling. Maybe the best grilled shrimp ever! My first visit was underwhelming. The place was very full on a Saturday afternoon which I hoped was a great sign. They host was very friendly and the wait was less than 15 minutes. We were seated; but it took another 15-20 minutes before we were greeted by our server. When our server finally came to our table she invited us to use the online menu for beer selections then swiftly left for yet another 15-20 minutes before returning; I sensed a pattern which would repeat all throughout the meal. We ordered flights of beer. When what we ordered was unavailable, our server finally produced a paper menu for back up selection. I ordered wings and a salad with poppyseed dressing everything my dinner guest ordered was unavailable so he ate nothing. Again after a wait I was notified someone had taken my order of wings and I would be waiting yet again. I received my dressing only to find out minutes later after I had dressed my salad that it was incorrect. Our server was pleasant and I have no idea if the problem was the kitchen or our service, but I was under impressed. The food was ok. The beers were okay. The menu is limited. BBQ sauce thin and low on flavor. IT5 burger ordered medium, came out well done, not very good. Overall would come back if somebody else wanted to, but not my first pick in Perrysburg amongst so many better choices, IMHO.
