    Peanut Butter Treat Porter

When you get here you notice a beautiful scenic outdoor seating area with tables and bench seating. It is a smaller area but a nice little inside area. They don't have food with the exception of events that they have. The beers are nice especially the Peanut Butter Porter, which is truly amazing. It is definitely a good brewery to try for some good beer.

Pavlov. Hmmm...that name rings a bell! (Rimshot)

Start in "Downtown West Toledo" at Boyd's Candy Store, and drive north on Lewis. You'll go past Rudy's, the Four Horsemen, and the Michigan state line. Cross over Sterns, and look for an old bank building on your right...you'll have found Pavlov's Brewing Company. That's about 4.2 miles, but even if you had to drive 40 miles, it would be worth the trip. There are about 15 brews on tap at any given time, and the ones I tried were pretty good. Pavlov's brews a range of styles, from a light and refreshing American Wheat, to a heavy and boozy Russian Imperial Stout. The double IPA hit the mark with me, but will it be hoppy enough for a real IPA connoisseur? No food is made in-house, but food trucks abound. Be careful...come here only once, and you too will be conditioned to return...and I'm not sure if the response can be extinguished. 5 stars for another great Toledo-area microbrewery.

This was our last stop of our ohio (well this is technically in Michigan) Tagabrew Trail and it was one of our favorites! Everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The beer was delicious! I loved the whole concept behind this great spot. We both bought sweatshirts, tagabrews and he got a beer glass. The bartender was happy to tell us the history behind the brewery. The beer was cold and smooth. Very fun place! If you are in the area come and check it out!

Food was a food truck parked in the lot. Not very helpful staff. Probably our first and last visit.

The food, though, lands squarely in the "just okay" category. The calamari came with a honey glaze that made them noticeably sweet. If you enjoy sweet‑leaning seafood dishes, you might love it, but it wasn't my favorite combination. The beer, on the other hand, outshines the food by a mile. I had the Heavenly Hefeweizen, and it was excellent smooth, refreshing, and easily the highlight of the meal. I also had the hot chocolate which was tasty and rich, but it comes topped with a giant marshmallow. It looks great for photos, but once you start drinking it, things get messy fast. Service was fine overall, nothing special, nothing terrible. The host, however, came off a bit rude and had us waiting even though there were plenty of open tables. My guess is they're short‑staffed, which might explain the delay, but the attitude didn't help. The bathroom could also use a more thorough cleaning. All in all, it's a nice spot for drinks and atmosphere, but the food and service have room to grow. If you're here for a good beer and a relaxed vibe, you'll probably enjoy it

Our server was quite efficient and pleasant. A bonus was that the manager/owner (?) came over to check on us and have a brief discussion. I had the fish and chips for lunch. I found it to be filling and tasty. My wife had a salad - no matter the weather, she enjoys a good salad and combo. I should note here that the restaurant is very accommodating to those who are GF and those who have a few other types of food allergies. As a GF, she really appreciates this. (Heart) My husband and I were looking forward to having breakfast today but it didn't happen bc of our schedule, so the fact that our lunch experience was excellent, well that was just sweet. Came in on Sunday during lunch. The place had some people enjoying a cold beer and eating at the bar and some were on the other side of the room. After checking the entire place out, decided to eat bear the bar by the window and enjoy the view. We were greeted by a sweet and kind smile from a little child, that just warmed our hearts as it was very genuine and heartfelt. My husband and I each ordered the Tecumseh Brewing Company Burger known as the TBC on a challah bread, accompanied by Caroline's onions, the famous TBC Bear Cheese, candied bacon hot and fresh! Which did not disappoint and it delivered all of my beefy burger cravings and satisfaction. They also come with a good portion of their chips and a dipping cream sauce. We decided to try Poppi cold drink for the first time. We both have been eyeballing them at the grocery store for a while now and boy are we glad we tried them. I even mixed mine. He had the strawberry and I have the ginger lime and inhaled it with half of his Strawberry, you can thank me later (wink).... We had fun talking about life and the great weather approaching so we had a nice meal and nice chatting. Looking forward to the music bands, trivia and out door dining Al Fresco. Thank you TBC for a great day!
