I love everything about Twin Oast. The buildings and grounds are stunning, the service is always friendly, and the beers and food consistently good. Twin Oast is such a wonderful addition to the area. I grew up on Catawba, so seeing the love and community Tein Oast brings (plus a high-level of food and drink quality) is wonderful. It's one place I can know I will enjoy visiting every time I'm up at the lake.

If you find yourself in northern Ohio you must check out Twin Oast Brewing in Port Clinton. As their website states, Twin Oast is above all things, an experience. The restaurant and brewery sit on a 60-acre farm. If you've ever been to Sierra Nevada's location in Mills River, NC, it is similar in a lot of ways. The grounds are beautiful and there are a variety of places to sit and enjoy a meal or just a couple of drinks. I enjoyed the Legitimate Swells IPA with a fruity hop flavor and light bitterness. They have nearly two dozen taps, so there is definitely something for everyone. Plus they have cider, mead, wines, seltzers, and canned cocktails. For lunch, the pulled pork was just what I needed. Slow-roasted pork, kickin' bourbon BBQ sauce, sweet & spicy pickle slaw, shredded white cheddar, and crunchy onions on an artisan hoagie roll ($16.50 with chips on the side). The slaw was really great and having crunchy onions on the sandwich put it over the top!

This is my first time here on recommendation of my parents and it is GORGEOUS! This is one of the prettiest breweries I have ever been too! If you are going to put in bay and are taking millers ferry you should make this a stop on your list of must sees. The beer is amazing and the pizzas are pretty tasty and good for a group. It has an azmaizng outdoor seating area on a nice day! And the service is very nice and very helpful. I was in awe the entire time I was here!

BEAUTIFUL location! Lots of variety in terms of different beers and ciders. Our waitress was super helpful and had lots of recommendations based on our preferences. We had a great time!

Beautiful garden! Good beer. Was not able to try food due to visiting during a boil advisory but enjoyed our time in the garden. Looked like they had various games to rent and activities. Kid friendly. Definitely want to go back!

Memories to savor. Excellent IPA 'Legitimate Swells' with 60 IBU's/6.3 ABV. especially in warm weather, a lighter style.

What's better than being surrounded by boats of all sorts, a majestic great lake and fresh air. As you arrive (out by the Miller's Ferry landing) the brewery sits on a good size parcel of land. There was a man working the large smoker's behind the business. The experience of having lived in KC made me curious about all BBQ techniques so I walked up and engaged him. It turns out that he dies fresh smoked meats daily (note: over fruit wood smoke, pit masters). This very large batch of smoked chicken thighs were destined to be pulled for the weekly feature. Inside, it's spacious and we sat at the bar. All the servers are engaging and great to talk with. Service is top notch with personality! The menu's are precise in their descriptions of both the wide variety of food items and the drink selections. Consider doing as I did when I fell in love with the beer (pictured) and has to leave with extra six packs bound for home in Georgia. If I lived closer I'd move in!!!

The twin oasts! So much seating!

Definitely recommend! Our first time there. While the bees were a plenty, the ambiance and charm of the place was great! The service and staff were on point! They have lots of drink options but my fave was their own brewed rootbeer! It was amazing and tasted just like the hard candy rootbeer barrels! The food was great as well! No complaints! There was no live entertainment at the time, which personally, made me enjoy it even more!

Twin Oaks Brewery is an absolute must-visit for any beer enthusiast, and it's easily the largest brewery we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The sheer scale of the place is nothing short of impressive, with vast expanses of land and plenty of space for guests to spread out, relax, and soak in the atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the size and layout are striking, with ample seating both indoors and out, allowing you to enjoy your beer in any setting that suits your mood. Whether you're looking for a lively social scene or a quieter spot to take in the surroundings, Twin Oaks has you covered. One of the unique aspects of this brewery is how well-designed it is for exploration. The brewery layout offers guests a chance to appreciate the brewing process, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making the space both functional and enjoyable. Even though the brewery was bustling with people during our visit, it never felt cramped or overwhelming--there's just so much space to move around, and that's something we really appreciated. It's rare to find a brewery that offers such an expansive, welcoming environment, making it a great place for both small gatherings and larger events. The atmosphere at Twin Oaks is lively yet comfortable. Despite the crowd, we felt at ease the entire time. The variety of craft beers on tap is truly impressive, catering to every type of beer drinker. Whether you're into hoppy IPAs, rich stouts, or lighter, refreshing options, you'll find something that fits your taste. I went for the Pilsner, which was crisp and perfectly balanced--a refreshing choice for a warm day. My wife opted for the Mexican Lager, which had a smooth and slightly sweet flavor that she thoroughly enjoyed. We were tempted to try a full tasting to experience more of their offerings, but with so many people around, it was a bit too busy for us to get the full tasting experience this time. What makes this visit even more special is that it was recommended to us by Rocky Point Winery, and they were spot on with their suggestion. Twin Oaks Brewery is not just a place to grab a drink; it's a destination. Whether you're a casual beer drinker or a seasoned aficionado, you'll find something to love here. With its vast outdoor space, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch beers, it's a perfect spot to spend an afternoon or evening with friends or family. We're already looking forward to coming back, and next time we'll definitely plan on doing a full tasting. If you're in the area, I can't recommend this place enough--make sure to stop by and see it for yourself!

Wings- hot - great flavor!

Wow - this place is breathtaking and we didn't even see it in it's prime (summer, crowds, etc). I can't even imagine how beautiful this place is on a warm, summer night! Ordered the pretzel and wings for an appetizer. The wings were amazing (ordered hot) and had great flavor. The pretzel came with a nice variety of dipping sauces, but we both thought it was a bit bland. Not much salt and seemed dry to me. Cheese sauce was pretty average, too. Beer was cold and a nice selection. Eventually moved outside to enjoy the ambiance. Look forward to coming back!

The beer here is phenomenal. We got the beer tower which consists of four 32 oz taps of beers if your choice. Highly recommend! The food is insanely good, the chicken wings, we got were Japanese bbq and Kentucky bourbon. Probably the best wings I've ever had. Rented the igloo which had heaters. Service was impeccable. We will be back for sure, great experience!!!

We spend several weekends a summer at Lakeside and this was our 2nd year finding Twin Oast. It is the only restaurant that we make it an absolute point to go to every visit, and twice if we're here for a whole week. The beer selection is amazing. The food is fantastic. The setting is incredible. The servers are kind and helpful. The entire set up of seating yourself, ordering via QR code, and paying on your phone is so incredibly efficient. My husband even commented last night "one day they'll write a manual on how to effectively run a business" because it's just THAT good. We have been on the busiest of busy nights and we still never have an issue finding a table or receiving our food quickly. Don't skip it if you're in the area.

5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here. Skip to the end for my full rating scale. Found Twin Oast by accident on our way to Put In Bay and are very happy that we did. If the weather cooperates it's a beautiful setting. Multiple outdoor bars are available around a nicely landscaped yard. Inside they have a decent sized seating area as well as a private room available for rent. They have a good selection of beers available and you can get a flight to try out several different varieties. My go-to styles are dry stout and red ale and I wasn't really a fan of either...but their "Legitimate Swells" is an excellent IPA. All four in our party ordered food from a menu with a nice variety and everyone left happy and satisfied with their meals. The wait staff and bartenders are courteous and attentive. While my favorite beer styles missed the mark a little bit, I was able to find a couple of very good alternatives. And if you're able to get there on a good weather day, the venue itself makes Twin Oast a must-visit if you're able. 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

The ambiance was 10/10! We stopped in for dinner and drinks after a day in Put-in-bay. It was a quick ride from the ferry. We got the pizza on happy hour special and tried some beers. I love that they had games available to play.

Anyone know if the pretzel is baked or fried? Is it possible to have the butter part excluded?

Hey there! The pretzel is buttered, salted, and then baked. We use fairly high heat to get that perfect combo of a crisp outside and soft inside. Cheers!

Everything was clean and looked nice. Staff were very friendly and they chatted with us and made recommendations. The proprietor was there and was a riot. (He's the guy on their fun beer labels). When we first arrived my friend spotted an old beer he loves on the top shelf. He asked the owner if it was for sale. Soon my buddy had a bottle of Lizard of Koz by Founders. Great service. The beer and food were great. They seem to specialize in New England IPAs (juicy and hoppy but not bitter) as they have so many on the menu. They also had stouts and porters. What a great tap list. I don't want to leave out the great food. I had a beef Pho and my friend had the TNT roll. Both great and flavorful. A big thumbs up. A place not to miss if going to Cedar Point.

Upon arriving, Chappell Roan was playing and the waitress was singing so we knew we made a good choice! There was a nice selection of beers/drinks, and a good one page menu of food- which included pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and I'm not going to lie, it was probably one of the best pizzas I've had it was a crunchy thin crust pizza with a couple cheeses, chicken, ranch, a nice and not too tangy buffalo sauce, and some bacon pieces that surprisingly didn't overwhelm the pizza! We also got the meatball sandwich, and the bbq bacon burger. The burger was on the small size, but the aioli in it mixed with the grilled onions made the burger so savory sweet I loved it! The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, especially Jenn and Patti who assisted me in planning the big day for months ahead! Not only did they arrange the tent/table/chair rental with an outside company for us, but the day of they set up our boxes and boxes of decorations. I was shocked at how great the venue looked when I arrived after the ceremony, even better than I had pictured! We had a backyard BBQ style menu including riblets, chicken, corn-on-the-cob, mac and cheese, and slaw which was all made in house and was absolutely delicious! All in all, I have zero complaints with my wedding reception and experience working with KI Brewery! I am so happy I chose them as my venue and highly recommend others to do the same if you are looking for a beautiful, relaxed, fun, island vibe!
