If you have the all day dining pass, this is one of the better spots within the park. You have a few different options to choose from including the cheesesteak, wings, or a salad. The wings came with lots of their famous crab fries. The place could use a refresh inside and it's very apparent that it used to be something else and was simply repurposed. If you're looking for a sit down restaurant and aren't using the dining pass, I would consider other options unless you're in it just for the fries or the sports. read more

Sports bar food establishment in cedar point. Staff was courteous and quick for me. I got the Peet-Za which is a pizza cheeseburger and it was very very good. Juicy and the sauce had a good flavor that mixed well with the cheeseburger. My daughter got the buffalo wings that were tasty and did a good job of having a nice spicy kick while not taking away the taste and flavor. My buddies and I went here for lunch. They got "crabfries" that they said were just okay for $9. I got a few small frozen chicken tenders for an equally high price. There's just nothing special about the food. My friends who also got steak sandwiches said the cheese sauce was gross. This was my first time trying this place. Let's say based on what I ordered, 3 stars is extremely generous. I'm only taking into consideration the issues they've had with staffing lately. I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad. It was supposed to be lettuce, celery, carrots, fried chicken, Buffalo sauce, and blue cheese. What I received was lettuce and grilled chicken. I had to use my daughter's Buffalo sauce and ask for the blue cheese. We asked for a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and they didn't have the ingredients. We asked for sweet potato fries and didn't have those either. The only redeeming item were the crab fries with cheese sauce. Should have known this would be a joke when ESPN rated it #1 for something. Their ticketing system for the kitchen has to be a joke, since all of our food came out separately, mine taking an extra 10 minutes, and coming out cold. For being in a theme park, you would think it would be more organized than a regular restaurant. It took 10 minutes for a water, so god forbid I ask for a hot (temperature) Buffalo chicken cheese steak sandwich. The chicken for it was also as bland as bland can be, and the sauce and cheese did not make up for it whatsoever. Also, they don't have a kids menu, but they have some overcomplicated system for a kids portion size. Fries do not come with your food either. They are an additional $9 to your already unsatisfying $11 sandwich. On a positive note, though, these are the best thing they serve, any way you get them (seasoned, sweet potato, and also unseasoned which isn't on the menu, surprise). The fries alone make this place deserving of 1 star. They only have one bathroom for males and one for females, so have fun waiting when this place is busy. This place is overpriced, and over portioned. If they cut the portion size down by 1/4 and took $2-3 per menu item (especially since fries are a separate charge) it would be a lot more worth the time I wasted there. This place is probably the worst place at which I've ever eaten. The restaurant wasn't crowded-it was less than half full. Our waiter didn't come to our table to take our drink orders until 10 minutes later. Our group ordered waters, which we didn't receive until TWENTY MINUTES LATER. In fact, half our party received their food before the drinks, which leads me to believe that the food was premade and just heated up. How long does it take to fill up cups with water? I thought robbery was illegal in Ohio because what Chickie's and Pete's is doing should be considered a felony. I thought their in the park advertising was interesting and then I saw ESPN endorsed them so I figured it was worth a try. BAD, BAD, BAD idea - the dry rub was tasteless except for the saltiness, the buffalo wings were weak and the chicken itself was rubbery. I had a Buffalo Chicken Philly (my bad - I was still dizzy from the rollercoasters) and what I got was a boneless chicken breast diced into tiny pieces with virtually no buffalo sauce, no cheese and NO FLAVOR. The consistency of the chicken was so awful that not only do I feel bad for the poor chicken that died for that sandwich but I won't b able to eat any chicken meal for a long long time. My son came up with the best line of the day by saying "he wished someone in the kitchen staff had spit on his food so at least it would have had some flavor". The other comments here hit it right on the nose - food and drinks sold on paper plates, pricing that was RIDICULOUSLY overpriced ($120 for lunch and no alcoholic beverages) and service that was virtually nonexistent. Shame on you ESPN for your ludicrous endorsement and shame on me for not checking Yelp before dining at this awful establishment. read more

Highly suspect that a captive-audience amusement park eatery would tout itself as the "highest rated" anything, and our experience certainly conformed to those expectations. My wife was denied service because she didn't have her ID, which is fair, but then the bartender immediately served another group without demanding IDs, going so far as to offer them free beers. Overpriced, as expected, but stale IPAs abounded and the service was terse and rude overall. Do yourself a favor and opt for the cheese on a stick. read more

Looks like your average restaurant nothing special. Prices aren't so bad but their drink selection is limited. No mixed drinks only some domestic beer and wine. It was sad that they were out of a lot of the beers I liked so I had to pass. The servers are from out of the country so the service isn't what you would expect it to be. I found it a bit irritating that my group of 7 and I had to keep reminding him for a refill since we he kept forgetting. They only have one single bathroom for men and one for women. I think this place was the only bad part of a trip my friends and I took to cedar point! First of all! This is false advertisement, that sad ass restaurant is not the number one sports bar in the north! That is a god damn BLATEN LIE!!!!!!!!!! However the order of fries was 10.00 and the buffalo sandwich was 10.00 as well. so 20.00 for bull shit disgusting food.... Now on to the service... I think they need to invest in a GOOD manager who know how to handle high volume business.... Because the server I had was so over whelmed that he didn't forget to ring in our alcohol we orders but the things he had to make as a server, four waters and a Sprite he never made and never brought to use..... After 20 min our alcohol arrived and the server was no where to be found.... Then my friend went to the bar to ask for a Sprite for my boyfriend because the over whelmed server was MIA..... The arrogant excuse of a bartender said we need to find out server and refused to give us a Sprite... Was stuck outside waiting at first. There was no hostess at all taking names. Waited 15-20 minutes with a packed entry way. However there are half of their tables empty inside. No apology for the wait and staff is only mildly attentive. The sauce for my food was not delivered with my food. Had to wait for my waiter to reappear and then flag him down. They actually ran out of marinara sauce in the middle of the day on a Saturday. Do you not stock your restaurant? Food was mildly edible but nothing I could even finish since it wasn't very good. Considering pizza at Cedar Point is $7 a slice and an entire pizza at Chickie's and Pete's is only $15, this place was a great find. It wasn't busy at all on a Monday during lunch hours and the service was great. Thank God for the free water refills and air conditioning because it was hotter than Hades that day. The beer is nice but extremely overpriced. Expect a minimum of $10 for a draft beer. The food is okay nothing you can't find at your local Buffalo Wild Wings or sports bar. The service started out really bad with a crude mean bartender who seemed to not care about guest, or like her job; however, the new bartender to come in, a sweet nice lady named Ari came in. Ari seemed to truly enjoy talking to her guests and taking care of them. I think what they meant to say was "rated the greatest sports bar called 'Chickie's and Pete's in the front of the park, at Cedar Point'". Both of my friends got cheesesteaks. When we were ordering, our waiter told us that the cheese steaks were very good. Both of my friends were disappointed with their meals. They said the bread was stale and the meat was nothing special. My brother and I got the lobster pizza. I had high expectations for this pizza, considering it was the priciest item on the menu. The pizza itself was very good. The crust was awful. The crust tasted like matza, and made the taste of the pizza way worse. I will say, the fries exceeded expectation. They were made crispy and had some outstanding seasoning on them. Although they are quite pricy, they are worth it. The service was not bad, but not great. We had a decent waiter, although his recommendations on food weren't very good. There was nothing he did to make my visit better or worse. The food came out timely, so I would say overall, this is a decent sports bar. You're better off walking the extra few minutes to go get melt, but this isn't a bad option. read more

The menu is so asinine and expensive that the waitstaff have to spend time explaining that everything is a la carte. A fountain coke is $5 with no refills. $50 for two people and a price/quality ratio that would make me send it back and demand a refund in Manhattan. Just awful.
