We tried some flatbread's. Everything was absolutely delicious and the beer and wine options were amazing. Pricing was fair on the service was fast. I was really looking forward to it. But honestly it was awful. Zero blackberry taste. Very disappointed. They have a decent amount of choices I just seemed to choose wrong. They even have a mead. But I got the shandy and just did not like it. They did also have a cider on tape. That's what I should have ordered. They had a wedding on premises. Big tent and it looked sweet. They also had a band playing that evening. Not sure how that would compete with the wedding reception. Lots of people inside and out. Inside has lots of table seating. Outside does as well. This is a nice space. Lots of options. They serve food but we did not get any. Lots of food runners around though. Overall, I'd go back. Just order something else.

But they're so much more. C.ocky L.ittle A.sian G.uy namesake Khan joined us for a lot of our visit and shared about his business, beers, and life story. Sandusky seems like a city reawakening from another time, and CLAG is definitely an anchor in the downtown area. The brewery is located in what seems like an old department store; there's lots of free parking outside. It's divided into a few main areas: inside the door you'll find a ton of refrigerators with 4-pack cans and limited bottles ready to go. Their prices are ridiculously low for the quality, a great option to stop before a party to stock up. They have a casual lounge area right inside and a shelf filled with the leftover label stickers from past releases, all free to take. The main area is the bar and restaurant (see separate review), with another lower bar which felt more casual to the left/down. Behind the bar is the brewery area, which is huge and not being completely used yet (they could expand, but doesn't seem like they need to). Khan took us on a great inside tour of these area, it's as simple as they come with an amazing finished product. Outside of their flagship hazies, they also excel at other styles including super clean rice lagers, and big boozy styles. They also have merchandise including tons of glassware inside. If you're a fan of great modern beer, pop culture puns, and great people, this is a must-visit brewery.

Everything was clean and looked nice. Staff were very friendly and they chatted with us and made recommendations. The proprietor was there and was a riot. (He's the guy on their fun beer labels). When we first arrived my friend spotted an old beer he loves on the top shelf. He asked the owner if it was for sale. Soon my buddy had a bottle of Lizard of Koz by Founders. Great service. The beer and food were great. They seem to specialize in New England IPAs (juicy and hoppy but not bitter) as they have so many on the menu. They also had stouts and porters. What a great tap list. I don't want to leave out the great food. I had a beef Pho and my friend had the TNT roll. Both great and flavorful. A big thumbs up. A place not to miss if going to Cedar Point.

There was a decent number of beers on tap and they were able to make some classic cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised by the fried cheese curds. My friend got the wings and said they were really fatty but liked the Jalapeño Ranch a lot. It was all "just alright", which for the prices they had should not be the case. Also apparently their "Espresso" Martini is just coffee and not espresso. So labeled incorrectly, but my friend still got it and said it was not bad.

Upon arriving, Chappell Roan was playing and the waitress was singing so we knew we made a good choice! There was a nice selection of beers/drinks, and a good one page menu of food- which included pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and I'm not going to lie, it was probably one of the best pizzas I've had it was a crunchy thin crust pizza with a couple cheeses, chicken, ranch, a nice and not too tangy buffalo sauce, and some bacon pieces that surprisingly didn't overwhelm the pizza! We also got the meatball sandwich, and the bbq bacon burger. The burger was on the small size, but the aioli in it mixed with the grilled onions made the burger so savory sweet I loved it! Street parking and less than 15min from Cedar Point!

Bartender seemed perplexed - then pulled out some mix and said she had enough for one. I asked for it spicy and she said she only had Franks red hot. Friend asked for Prosecco - they didn't have. Then asked for Hefe - they were out. Then asked for their lager - they were out. How is a brewery out of all their own beer? Passed on lunch and went down the street. Wasn't impressed overall.

They also have a small food menu. I came with my lady friend and we walked from the ferry. It's quite a long walk but we didn't want to shell out to get a cart. This looked like a very small place that couldn't possibly have that much to offer. It was shocking but they had a pretty big beer menu. The beers are usually about $5 a pint. I had the Anniversary Ale. It's a lighter beer with good taste. They have a small food menu too. It's a lot of fish which isn't surprising since this is on an island. The chips and salsa are about $5 and come in a big portion. It has many good beers. It may be a bit slow but the staff is busy with crazy tourists who piss them off. Try going at slower times.

The outdoor area was spacious for hosting 115 guests and had a beautiful backdrop of Lake Erie across the street! This venue also has a nice-sized, stone outdoor bar that was perfect for the occasion! We were lucky with the weather, but if it had rained, the brewery has indoor seating and an indoor bar which many of my guests utilized to escape the sun at times. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, especially Jenn and Patti who assisted me in planning the big day for months ahead! Not only did they arrange the tent/table/chair rental with an outside company for us, but the day of they set up our boxes and boxes of decorations. I was shocked at how great the venue looked when I arrived after the ceremony, even better than I had pictured! We had a backyard BBQ style menu including riblets, chicken, corn-on-the-cob, mac and cheese, and slaw which was all made in house and was absolutely delicious! All in all, I have zero complaints with my wedding reception and experience working with KI Brewery! I am so happy I chose them as my venue and highly recommend others to do the same if you are looking for a beautiful, relaxed, fun, island vibe!
