I liked this spot. I do wish they had prices on their coffee mugs etc Luckily I read about this spot before going or I wouldn't have realized they had food. The food menus were not obvious and the staff did not help much. Their drink menu board is fun but hard to read. Sent a group in after me and they couldn't find where there was a food menu and had a hard time with the staff showing them (they didn't even after being asked) so they only got coffee and got food elsewhere. Items did take awhile. I think if they were more helpful to out of towners (tons of hotels around) and made it more obvious of their different offers they could get a lot more $$$ per head. Decent vibes inside. I do feel like they could have done more for the aviation theme. read more

Stopped by this modern coffee shop while driving through town and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was detailed and easy to navigate, which made choosing a coffee type really straightforward. Stopped in for breakfast and coffee. It was quite busy so I was surprised how quickly we got our order. The service was great, very friendly and personable lady taking orders. It's very nice inside with many different seating areas. They have a few tables outside so we chose to get our order to go and sit outside. We got the viva las vegans sandwich on sourdough, which was good. Love sourdough. We got cold brew, a double espresso, and I tried the black currant refresher on their spring menu. All were great! I ordered a honey Cinnamon latte with almond milk which had an amazing presentation and tasted delicious- espresso forward with a subtle sweetness of the local honey. I also ordered the BYO sandwich witH Foccacia, sausage, and egg served with garlic aoili. Delicious flavor although egg did not seem fresh and just seems to be a bit pricey for what you get. This afternoon I walked in and four people were ahead of me. There was one person taking orders and six making drinks at a leisurely pace. They seemed to be more concerned with catching up from the previous day than getting orders out promptly. i was asked to repeat my order multiple times; 1 medium black coffee, 1 medium iced coffee with cream and sweetener and 1 cookie multiple times. I Waited 10 minutes and the iced coffee was filled to the top with no room for cream. I was then asked if I received the drip coffee. While I had enough time to finish a drip coffee in the time it took to make my order, I had not received it. Do better! read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. Their new location is beautiful and much bigger than the last, but it's so busy that it is still hard to get a seat. Stitch visited The Flying Joe in Perrysburg, Ohio and started his day with the Blue Bird Latte--smooth, balanced, not too sweet, and very delicious! Only surprise? It wasn't blue like Stitch! Hehe. But still, very good and made Stitch feel cozy inside. Breakfast sandwich was yummy and gave Stitch strength for Earth errands. He also tried a cinnamon roll with super tasty cream cheese frosting--so good Stitch wanted to swim in it--but the roll itself was a bit dense. Many crew members around but no on taking orders so at least 5 staff standing around. Good coffee but not worth the time. Crew needs to be able to multi task. Not good. read more

Loved this place so much, I came two days in a row. Service is reasonable but expect a bit of a wait time purely because it gets so busy. The breakfast sandwich, especially with the pretzel croissant bread option was impeccable. Coffee was excellent but lots of other options. I actually got the lemon Palmer coconut drink the second day and LOVED it. The Jammer (focaccia bread with bacon, egg, cheddar, cinnamon cream cheese, toasted pecans and cherry orange jam) - sounds like a lot of flavors but everything meshed really well! I received a bagel instead of focaccia so maybe they were out? Delicious either way. Iced Blackberry Matcha with oat milk- not a fan. There was not a lot of matcha flavor so it tasted like watery blackberry milk. However, I did appreciate the house made blackberry syrup. This is one of my fave coffee shops!! It deserved an updated review. I've been going here regularly (but not frequently - like once a month or every few weeks) for the last 3 years. Lol I avoided it because I confused it with the Flying J truck stop and thought "ew no thanks I don't want truck stop coffee" but finally checked it out and...yeah, not a truck stop!! It's a smaller shop and when it's busy, it is packed. But I go often during non-busy hours (aka not early morning or lunch) and have plenty of tables to choose from. The coffee is amazing!! I love the locally roasted Ethiopian option. It's a pour over and when you dine in, you get a whole large container and a mug to slowly fill your cup as you like. Great for slow drinkers who hate cold coffee. I also love the lavender honey lattee. They sell alcohol and the drinks sound amazing but I haven't tried it. The bakery case is brilliant. I love the vegan pop tarts (but expensive at $6) and scones. They have oatmeal cream pies that are tasty too. I love their breakfast sandwich. The avocado toast is AMAZING because it includes hummus and cumin. Love love love. Frequently they do themes like Marvel, Stranger Things, or Harry Potter. They sell beautifully designed cookies that go with the theme and decorate. Staff are friendly. You can order online ahead but not the quickest pick-up time is 30 min after you order so plan ahead. read more

I got the lumberjack latte which had a hint of maple. I'm always looking for a maple latte and this one hit the spot! They also have dairy alternatives which I appreciate as a dairy sensitive gal. A coffeehouse nearby to my hotel, I decided to make life easy and have coffee and breakfast here instead of downtown. The place was surprisingly busy, so I thought that was a good sign. I grabbed a menu and was baffled that there were no prices on the items--only the "add-ons". Why is that? Why wouldn't you let your customers know how much your items are? We ordered and the prices were pretty fair, my husband thought his drip coffee was good. My cortado was not. It didn't have creamy steamed milk, it was bubbly, like a carbonated drink and bitter. We sat down, and when they called our name that our food was ready, they handed it to us in a paper bag. The cashier never asked if it was for here or to go, but I would think they would see us at a table and put it on plates (other patrons had plates, though the customers next to us also got handed a paper bag for their table) My husband's multigrain sandwich was pretty meh. One piece of bread was regular sized and the other wasn't the same size so the food squished out, plus he said the small piece was stale. While it is busy, the space itself is cute and cozy. They have both sweet and savory options for food and their season drinks are quite unique and fun, both tradition cafe drinks and also alcoholic beverages. Everyone is great here and they are willing to point you in the right direction with drink choices. Shop with lots a little cubbies and nooks. Great for doing schoolwork or office work. Really great environment. I ordered a Cortado with almond milk. The flavor was great, which counts the most. However, I love the presentation and there was no presentation with my Cortado so that was disappointing for the price I paid. Which I believe was $3.50 plus a 20% tip so it wound up being $4.20 read more

Perfect place to stop for a to-go breakfast before getting on the road. I had their breakfast sandwich with garlic aioli and avocado. It was delicious! Love that they have so many different options, including vegan items, to suit different tastes and food requirements. For a drink I ordered a cortado-- my favorite espresso drink, but it's rare to find! It was also great. The spot is cute, the theme is classy, the people there were friendly.
