What a great Starbucks experience! I was welcomed with a warm "hello" as soon as I walked in. The guy taking my order was kind and helpful as I navigated the app and scanning a coupon. I've recently tried the new cold foam coffee. It has minimal calories and it's delicious. The barista made mine with soy milk. She had great customer service and took the time to explain that the foam wouldn't be as foamy made with soy. The foam was fine and the beverage was yummy. read more

It's a Starbucks so there's not that much more to say about it. The service was friendly and quick. The seating area isn't huge, but it does have about 4 tables and a short bar. The location is nice because who doesn't want to grab coffee while out shopping. read more

This is your typical Starbucks, nothing to rave about. They do everything you've come to love and expect from Starbucks. The one minor rub I have isn't with this Starbucks, per se, but with the fact that you can't bring your drink into the movie theater that anchors the Levis Commons Shopping Center. If it's a "community" the LC is supposed to be promoting itself as, you'd think you could carry a Starbucks coffee that you just purchased into the movie house with you. The best Starbucks in the area! This Starbucks has super friendly baristas that go out of their way to remember your regular order. My drink is always perfectly made and is delivered quickly no matter how busy they are. There's no drive thru and the seating area is limited, but I enjoy that it makes this shop quieter and cozier. The staff is incredibly incompetent and rude. I placed an order at about 1 pm for a dark roast coffee as one of the items that I was ordering and without apprising me otherwise she just took my order curtly and completed the transaction. A moment later she started to prepare a pour-over brew and I requested not to have a pour-over. She immediately huffed and said I should have told her I did not want a pour-over. I said she should have enlightened me that that only had their Pike Place brewed. She said I should have looked at the signage on the coffee urns and she can't tell customers everything. Expect rude behavior from a red-headed staff member by the name of Nicole. read more

Not a fan of Starbucks in general but I have to give this location credit. Had a few back to back meetings here and was impressed with the staff. Service was great- attentive and friendly. They got along really well and were having fun together during slow times. It was nice to see the laughs, even lifted my spirits a little. I go to this Starbucks if I have to. They open later than all of the other Starbucks stores in the area and the line always moves so slowly.

The staff is very courteous and helpful if you are unfamiliar with their menu. Food always tastes great, and I have never been disappointed when I try something different. read more

I entered the and immediately noticed they were totally wiped out from holiday shoppers because the merchandise wall was empty. I had hoped to find specialty products relative to gourmet coffee brewing--I guess they were unable to offer that despite being located in a shopping-destination venue (Levi's Commons). They were also out of stock of several menu items and their beverage case was unlit and half bare. The whole store has a shabby appearance. I ordered a tall chestnut latte. The person who took my order did a good job but when my drink was called, the barista had already placed another person's tall beverage right next to mine and did not offer to help us differentiate the beverages. The beverages were marked but I did not want to handle a stranger's beverage out of respect. The quality of the latte was sub par. The scant dollop of whipped cream was drowning in foam and the beverage was foamy like a wet cappuccino. They must have ben out of the chestnut sprinkles because there were none. I expect to get my money's worth in a Starbucks but these folks are apparently too understaffed to deliver. The two stars are for the guest artist who had really nice photographs displayed. read more

I love Starbucks coffee in general and their Guatemala Antigua beans in particular. Call me a snob but there is nothing like a cup of Turkish coffee brewed from these beans. This particular type is not available in supermarkets, so I have to buy it in a Sbx store. That's fine usually, even if it's more expensive, they grind it for me and in some stores you even get a free tall regular coffee (the one on Reynolds is the only one in Toledo that still does that). Well, if you have a registered gift card, you are supposed to get a free tall drink with that. And I've been getting a caramel macchiato for almost a year now, with every purchase of a lb of beans (from other locations). This particular Sbx store does not honor the promise. A poor experience from start to finish. When I brought the beans to the counter and asked for a Turkish grind, I was asked if I am buying them. Really? No, I am just going to get the beans to a fine powder and put'em back on the shelf. Or she thought I bought them from a different store? Then I am told that I can get only a brewed drink for free. And she argues with me. It's the last time I am buying beans from them. A shame, because the location is great, with outside seating. But this is not the first time I had a negative experience with this particular store. Communication is terrible, they don't always call/confirm the orders between the cashier and barista, they often forget what you ordered and you have to repeat it. They are busy, I get it, but if you can't remember an order for 15 seconds, get a different job. The redundant retoric standard questions: "Do you need your receipt?" and "do you need a bag?" are there all right, no different from other places. I find these questions just a waste of time. The espresso based drinks quality is so-so. When I get my caramel macchiato, at other locations, the amount of caramel is pretty standard with little variations, but here, you can't tell, it may be from nauseatingly sweet to barely there. And occasionally you get the "this machine needs cleaning" taste. I guess the location brings them a high enough number of customers that they don't care if they lose one. One star for service, 3 stars for the drinks quality, they can do better. read more

Clean, friendly, and they make everything perfectly. I'm visiting the area and my second visit happened to be Kaylee's first day in this store, she's a GEM! Happy, super friendly to all customers, even the children visiting, her personality is exactly what every business needs. I'd visit just to hear her interact, she made me feel happy. If the store was out of an item or someone was unsure of what they wanted she'd help them decide what to order and everyone was appreciative and pleased. read more

I go here a lot, drinks are always made well and quickly. Only complaint is that certain baristas ALWAYS seem to be inconvenienced to take an order/make a drink, and are not the friendliest. Not all, just a few. I don't feel my order is that complicated and inconvenient to make. Otherwise love this Starbucks. read more
