First off, I chatted with the very knowledgeable barista about the beans they use, and if I lived closer, I'd definitely make it my mission to go through and try each kind. Got a pour over which was delicious and full flavored. They also offer all kind of coffee and espresso drinks, so something for everyone. They also have baked goods that looked delicious but I certainly didn't need it haha. And to the side are all the beans. Most had roast dates within a week, so all super fresh. Love the vibes inside. Very earthy and natural, yet benches were comfortable and I can see getting some work done here. Love this place! I wish I lived closer I'd totally become a regular.

Myself and the Mrs have been checking out the downtown coffee scene, and so far, Sweet Nate's is our favorite. Located in the Oliver House, the look and feel of this place is outstanding. I've always had a thing for mid-century aesthetics, and Nate's has some. Their music comes primarily from a collection of vinyl records. Thumb through the 450 to 500, or so, albums, find one, take it to the barista, and they'll play it for you. Cool. By no means am I a coffee connoisseur, but I really liked their product. I ordered the "marriage latte", and my wife got a blueberry Italian soda. Both were excellent. Unlike some of the other coffee places that are located more centrally places in downtown Toledo, you'll have to walk a little ways to get to Sweet Nate's. It's worth the walk. 5 stars!

While me and the wife were there, we sent a few pics to the family group chat, and within 15 minutes both kids showed up!! The place is that cool! Drink some coffee, buy some plants, buy some other flower pots, get some food, check out of food trucks on certain days. How's the coffee? Damned good. I grabbed a latte with some agave syrup. It may not sound intrinsically delicious, but I liked it! My wife liked her layered coffee drink flavored with lavender...I liked hers too. I'm not sure what the kids bought, but they liked their drinks too. Win x 4. Both kids ate there too. See the pics. The staff and the owners were extremely friendly...almost too friendly. They have wonderful service and a nice rotation of seasonal beverages. As I mentioned in my previous post, they're generous with the syrup so if you don't want your drink to be super sweet, just ask for less pumps. For this visit we had the Mistletoe Matcha and it was a dream! Creamy iced matcha topped with sweet raspberry cold foam. The perfect holiday drink for matcha lovers. The breakfast sandwiches are in a grab-and-go case and they'll heat them up for you. There are also a variety of sandwiches, desserts, and protein bites (my fave) to go along with your coffee. They also offer a nice menu of non-coffee drinks like boba tea and smoothies, which my kids love. Check them out, you won't regret it.
