While on vacation in Navarre, we decided to go easy the first day so we ordered pizza. After it was all said and done, I am really glad we did and especially from this place. We ordered three different types of pizza: Pepperoni, Meat Lovers and Hawaiian. By far this was probably the best Hawaiian pizza I've had in a long time. Loaded with plenty of meat toppings, pineapple and a few jalapeno peppers. It was like a hula party in my mouth. The pepperoni pizza was so New York style we started speaking in classic New York slang. #BadaBing We ordered salads, while not my favorite thing to eat when you order pizza, and that too was also quite good. Ordered Cary out and our group had 4 different XXL pizzas. All were decent but nothing special. It was basically Luke warm wich didn't help. Hire more drivers my gosh. Its unbelievable that every other pizza delivery service can deliver from 11(when they open) not 4pm only. and can do deliveries in 45 minutes. NYPD is the slowest delivery ever. Half the time puzza is way cold by time you get it. food can be good if hot. In fact if you get it fresh its the best taste. but they only deliver after 4 and delivery is always 1:30 min. skip deliveries. read more

We tried this place as a recommendation from a local during our vacation. The pizza was some of the best I've ever had and the service was great.... BOTH times we went. Well done NYPD!! Today's slice is incredible! Baked with cheese, pepperoni and sausage inside two thin layers and topped with Parmesan- served fresh and worth the wait. Really good pizza, fast and friendly service at least for us as we dined in, but not with the southern charm we are accustomed to, but it is called New York Pizza so forgetaboutit. The pizza prices are very reasonable but the prices on soft drinks are a bit inflated. The garlic knots are awesome and well worth the money. My first time even though I have lived in the neighborhood right behind. The place was rocking, the food was great w some errors and the waitress should not be waiting for a living. Garlic knots we're ordered but garlic bread delivered. When she was told it was wrong she argued instead of just apologizing. She came back out and said the knots would be right out. My sub was supposed tone hot and she placed or in front of me saying" hot Italian" but it clearly was not hot it was cold. I decided to eat as is to not put her over the edge. Then she brought the checks without asking if we wanted anything else. When we told her we wanted more food she was visibly anoyed.i don't understand as that is what she is there to do. This is our "go to" place (for the time being) for thin crust pizza. You can toss all the local thin crust pizza joints in a hat (Sal's, NYPD, Papa's) and the one thing they all have in common is inconsistency and being pricier than the chains. However, the pizza and calzone we got the other night was well made, so we'll continue to ride this horse till they drop the ball (or I mix another metaphor) then switch to Papa's or Sal's. On a side note, we always get our pizza to go. So if you're looking for a bar/dining room atmosphere you're better off going to Sal's. There are many places that say they have good pizza. There a few places that actually have good pizza. This place is one of those few that has excellent pizza. I highly recommend their cheesy garlic bread, and their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The service was great. The atmosphere was quite unique. It makes me so sad to leave this review. I have been a fan for 10 years. I always drove from GB to Navarre to get pizza when I lived here. Its was 45 mins from my door to theirs back then. When I moved away, I would dream about your pizzas and that beautiful marinara sauce. And when I moved back and had to stay in an AirBnB, you guys were the first place I ran to for dinner. But, sadly, while the pizza has not changed, the customer service has. They are moving or something, and refused us a takeout order. No notice or anything, when the week before they were bringing my order to my car. Said they would only deliver. Unfortunately, my AirBnB at the time was in Mary Esther, and they would not deliver that far. We asked them if they could deliver to their parking lot and they refused. I wish you would have known how that pizza we wanted to order would have made our day so much. We were having it terribly rough, with COVID affecting our home search. We had had a particularly terrible day, both of us exhausted and beat down. You guys were the only dependable thing in our life at the time. We were heartbroken when you denied our request... yes, over a pizza. We were just blown off, like someone who never mattered, all with a snotty attitude. All those years we recommended you to family and friends who were visiting. Told them you were worth the drive for REAL PIZZA from the best people. How we talked about your sauce and your perfect pizza anytime we tried another place "pretending to be NYPD". It just sucked. So sadly, I guess my relationship with NYPD is over. The really sad part is, our new home is not only in your delivery area now, but we are right down the street. We are now your local community. I placed a large to-go order on a Friday and was told that the wait would be an hour. However, our order was ready a few minutes early and we didn't have to wait quite that long. The pizza sizes range from small to x-large. The large is 14 inches and the x-large is 18 inches. For 10 people I ordered 2 larges and one x-large and this was more than enough. We tried the meat lover's pizza, vegetarian pizza, and a regular cheese pizza. All were hot when we picked them up and tasted delicious. The meat lover's and vegetarian pizzas also had a generous amount of toppings on them. In addition to the pizza, we also tried the garlic knots. The garlic knots were similar to a puffy dinner roll and came with marinara sauce for dipping. The marinara sauce that was provided wasn't quite enough to share, but it tasted good. Some of the knots where a little burned though, so we weren't able to eat them all. Overall, we were pleased with our meal from NY Pizza Depot. While visiting he area, we also tried pizza from Helen Back Again and liked the NY Pizza Depot better. read more

Our favorite pizza/wing joint. The garlic knots are seasoned perfectly, but definitely over proofed (they're huge!). The pizza is awesome and has a unique, authentic NY taste. The wings are perfect. Ask for them well done to get them crispy like they should be. They have nightly specials so be sure to ask about those. Staff is very attentive and we haven't had issues yet with anything. Stumbled on this place for lunch.... what a gem for beach pizza! Not much seating but customers were kind enough to offer to move seats around to help accommodate our large party. The margarita pizza was delicious - & the cheesy bread was perfectly melted. My daughter had the ravioli - came with salad & ate the entire portion. We ordered the garlic knots, Bianca pizza and a mushroom/garlic pizza. One out of three things seems to be the proportion of good to bad things. The garlic knots were horrible, it seemed like they used a cheap white bread to make it. It was garlic less... The Bianca pizza was also nasty. Oh dear, not what I was expecting at all. Although the crust for their pizza was NYC style. It was nice and flat but even they didn't salt the dough enough. The garlic and mushroom pizza was decent. It tasted like ok Long Island pizza but nowhere near NYC standards. The pizza is the best in the area. I will be back. For those of you interested in tasting pizza that they even slightly resembles what NY'ers eat, give this place a try. The decor made me nostalgic, haha. They say it will be an hour which is long compared to others then you call after an 1:45 pizza still sitting there they said it would be another 1/2 hour. They forgot our dine-in order... we waited an hour and a half with a toddler before accepting half price for pizzas that we now needed to take home. The food is good but service was slow and their priorities definitely favor take-out orders. I agree with previous posters that the dining area is very small and could use some more seating, however there was a seat open when we got there and I didn't see anybody have to wait. The service was for the most part prompt, we didn't have to wait long for service. The food was very good. The pizza is a thin crust and hand tossed in the kitchen right in front of the dining area. It did take awhile to get our pizza, but it was piping hot when it arrived. I like a little more cheese on my pie, but it was sufficient. Decided to try NY Pizza Depot when the kids needed a break from seafood. :) This is thin crust pizza-the kind that even this Midwesterner knows you fold in half to eat. The restaurant is small-7 tables inside, plus a couple outside on the sidewalk in front. Noticed several carry out orders while we waited, so that is definitely an option in case all tables are full. Service was quick and courteous. The pizza is fine-not our best ever, and not our worst. We noted the warning on the menu about dark and crispy crust, so we asked for "Light" crust--absolutely a good call for our tastes. I think we would have otherwise considered the pizzas to be burned. So-caveat emptor applies here! That said-the crust wasn't burned but still could use flavor--more salt maybe? The sauce could also have been more flavorful, in our opinion. No oregano on the table. However, the toppings were good and a good amount for thin crust pizza. Bottom line--I really enjoy a good crust, and for me the texture was great, just need to up the flavor ante a bit. We also tried Rocco's-which is also good-we would have to try both again to pick between them. read more

The pizza is good, maybe rating a four star. However, the service leaves something to be desired for takeout. They have messed up the order about half the time we called. Note to everyone. They have four sizes. If call for a large, they will give you the second size down. When I asked what they largest size is, they said 18". You have to ask for it by 18". If you ask for large, you will get the 14" or 16". Plus, they really don't listen well on the phone. We only go back as they are the closest and on the way home. We've never eaten in, so I can't rate the service for dining in. read more

When I asked them how long it would be, they tried to save face and be arrogant about it. I said I would be back in 10 minutes. When I came back, they would not even acknowledge me, nor would they tell me pizza is ready for another 5 minutes. I would not go back again, unless an adult was running the business.
