I had the garlic patty Melt. The vampires will definitely avoid me for the next week. The garlic was obviously cooked with the onions and it added to the sweetness of the sandwich. We were exhausted from our flight and wanted this famous to US Mac & Cheese burger we had with our grandchildren the last time we were in Florida. We got our lunch to go and it was just as memorable . Everyone looked liked they were enjoying themselves with all the sports TV's in this cozy atmosphere when I order and returned for my food. A sweet red head took my order and gave us our sweet tea while we waited. We were told we could top it off before leaving; so sweet which I forgot to do! We ordered the Mac & Cheese Burger, fried green beans, tater tots and funnel cake fries with chocolate sauce. The burger, food and service were all excellent. The fried green beans are a must have!!! Next time I will order me 3. They were all eaten in the car before we ever reached our room not 4-5 minutes up the road ***** It's Monday and we are on our way to the airport. Let me start out by saying the waitress was amazing. We came here before and loved this place, but the bartender needs to be fired. We ordered 4 drinks, two of them were the same. One tasted great, one tasted terrible. Exact same drink. When we requested they remake it, the bartender took it personal. Now keep in mind we all tasted both before we said anything. The bartender tasted it and started telling everyone at the bar it tasted the same as the other. How does he know?? When we told the manager he was behind the bar complaining about us. Yum!! This may have been my favorite meal in Navarre! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful. Our table of 7 was sat immediately and our food came out pretty quick. The burger was the best I've had in awhile!! Super juicy with lots of flavor. The appetizers were delicious too. They have a good variety on the menu so there's something for everyone. Local and a Dive But a Dive in the best possible way. Huge portions. Locals in all manner of dress. Business people, people fresh from the beach, or us - a family loading up on a meal before a movie. Orders, appetizers and meal went smoothly. Food came out hot and fresh. Only disappointing part of the meal was two orders of sweet potato fries. Waffle cut. They were under cooked. Carmel sauce served with was to die for. Wish we had caught it sooner in the meal. Had a movie to catch. 50/50 burger was a blend of cooked pulled pork blended into burger patty. Stopped in on the way home from the Destin airport. It was a Sunday evening and as soon as you walk in you immediately notice all the TV's. Sunday night football, what more could you ask for. Sat at the bar and ordered a draft and looked over the menu. I ordered the Alpine burger, tots and some fried pickles. Way more food than I could eat. The fried pickles is a meal in itself. I do want to say that the burger, not only was fantastic, but cooked to absolute perfection. It wasn't over cooked causing it to be dry but had zero pink in the patty. I mean cooked perfectly! It's not a fancy bar or a fancy restaurant by any means, but a perfect little sports bar right off 98. The bartender was constantly asking if we needed anything. She was great. The burger was great. The beer was cold. What more could you ask for? read more

November 22, 2023 - Two for Dinner. After a long drive the day before we were looking for a nice quick bite. GREAT spot! Awesome service. Our server was fantastic but forgot her name and lost the receipt in all the travel. (we live in Venice FL 7 hours - took 10 on the Holiday Saturday drive back actually) The food was very good and fresh. I had an absolutely terrible Beyond Burger nearby (Larry D or something on the beach area) two nights previous but took a chance on their Impossible Burger and was glad I did!!! WAY better prepared and cooked. Bun was very nice. The "vegetable" side was a boiled bag of veggies Swanson or Birdseye would have been proud of...... i did not finish them a mushy boiled mess. My wife got the Albine burger (mushroom) and she loved it. The fried green beans could have been better with a cleaner fry-a-lator / fresher grease and maybe not so well cooked/over. But pretty tasty. The place is pretty nice and simple. Clean and roomy. Plenty of parking on this night. Next door looks like a zoo!!! (some bourbon bar or something owned by the same folks) We thought the little metal tray plates were cute BUT our stuff fell off on the table multiple times and they are a little TOO small for just our wee little sandwiches and burgers and fries/sides. read more

Had not been there for a couple of months...what happened? The food was not nearly as good as it used to be. I had the fish tacos... someone changed the size and type Cole slaw used, not good. They also are using different buns for the burgers, another mistake. The main issue, we froze while trying to eat. Way too cold in there. The servers were so friendly from when we first walked in until we left, which was great! There was so much on the menu that sounded great it was hard to make a decision on what to get. Eating at restaurants these days can be very interesting! Some places are now closing super early, others are open only on certain days, and others are struggling to find people to fill shifts. We were visiting Navarre Beach with our family, and looking for a place to eat around 9 pm. We looked online, and several places had already closed. We did find a place that was open, but when we arrived there was an hour and a half wait. That's when we chose Johnny Hustons. We were seated immediately which was great, but we were disappointed because due to staffing issues they were only offering wings and burgers. Ugh! This isn't Johnny Huston's problem it seems to be an America problem and small businesses are doing the best they can. read more
