Fast service, great food and overlooking the Gulf of America. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go there again!

Breakfast was delicious with poached eggs, toasted biscuits, bacon, grits, potatos, hollandaise. Things cooled down so quickly, but we sat right next to an open window with gorgeous ocean views! Our waiter was great even though it was his first day! Conveniently right next to the pier ($1 pp to walk for several hours).

I am extremely picky and thought that this would not have a great menu or great food being a cool bar/restaurant on the pier. Boy was I surprised! Their menu is amazing. Their food is amazing. I don't like to eat fried food but their french fries are the bomb! Their drinks are really good too. And what a view.

Great food and service. Sat at the bar and was served immediately. The chicken tenders were amazing. Hand breaded and a huge portion. The jammin sauce is like a Zaxbys sauce, house made ranch, can't go wrong with any of them.

We haven't been here for a couple years, and it was an unexpected amazing meal. We had the blackened shrimp, and it was perfect!

Once inside you order at the counter and the time you wait is minimal compared to the amount of people inside, the service was excellent start to finish! I can see why this is constantly rated one of the best fish houses as every thing was perfectly cooked and flavored. We had a group of ten and everything was correct, a nice change of pace from other recent experiences. The Bang Bang Shrimp stood out to me most of all but everyone was pleased with their food.

Scooter's Fish House must be good if it has a line out the door, right?…read more We visited with a party of 10 and ordered a little bit of everything: bang bang shrimp, grilled shrimp, fried swordfish, fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and chargrilled oysters. Once you place your order at the window, you're handed a drink cup and sent into the chaos of finding a table. The place stays busy, and with the crowd, TVs, and constant activity, it can get pretty loud. If you're hoping to have an easy conversation with your group during dinner, be prepared to compete with the noise. That said, the atmosphere is fun. The restaurant is full of local character, plenty of decorations, and enough going on to keep things interesting while you wait for your food. The food came out hot and fresh from the kitchen window. The chargrilled oysters were the highlight of the meal--piping hot, perfectly cooked, and served with fresh lemon. Everything else was solid and exactly what you'd expect from a casual seafood spot, but nothing really stood out as memorable. Overall, Scooter's is a good place to grab seafood if you're already in the area. The oysters are worth ordering, the atmosphere is lively, and the food is consistently decent. Just don't expect a meal that's worth making a special trip for. TL;DR: Good food, great oysters, fun atmosphere--but not quite destination-worthy.

The setting was also beautiful. We chose to sit outside overlooking the bay. While it was dark enough that we had to use our phone flashlights to see our food, we didn't mind because the skyline view was lovely and we enjoyed watching the glow-in-the-dark kayaks on the water. Unfortunately, the service was a different story. You order and tip at the counter before being served, then find your own table. Once seated, it was unclear whether food would be brought out, whether our name would be called inside, or what the process was. No one ever came outside to check on us, offer napkins, provide condiments, or ask if we needed anything. I eventually sent my 11-year-old daughter inside to ask for napkins. The restaurant was not busy, and there appeared to be plenty of staff on hand. However, it felt like everyone was focused on cleaning and closing for the night rather than taking care of the guests who were still dining. My only suggestion would be to reconsider the tipping process. Since gratuity is collected before any service is provided, it's difficult to know what level of service you're rewarding. If I returned, I would likely skip the pre-tip option and bring cash to tip afterward based on the actual experience. The food was excellent, but the lack of service left a lasting impression. Based solely on the meal, I'd absolutely return. Based on the service, I'm not sure I would.

I ordered the special (Alfredo with blackened shrimp). It was DELICIOUS. The Hugo spritz was also good. Abigail was prompt, kind, and accommodating. The one small issue is that the outdoor string lights weren't working, but Abigail brought out table lamps to provide light once it got darker outside. The ambiance outside was nice too with a beautiful view of sunset and comfortable shaded area. The prices are more reminiscent of LA but the quality of ingredients was great. The service, sufficiently attentive. The view? Omg spectacular. Parking is simple. It's tucked in Navarre Beach which is a quiet, peaceful place. We sat outside and had it to ourselves because it was hot. The indoor was cute though. Nice high, beam vaulted ceilings and very fun scallop shell light fixtures. It felt like a beach house but nonetheless we opted for the fresh air overlooking the gulf. We had shade although they also have sofa seating in the sun. The salad was the best I've had here locally. Reminiscent of a CA salad and I deeply missed that. The pork belly was wild! A thick generous portion. My husband devoured it. It was very good, although he found it slightly overdone, I did not as pork should be cooked thoroughly. I am looking forward to returning here. It's one of the best meals we had here, right on par with Jackson's & the Grand Marlin.
