Gooey cheesy hand tossed right in front of you. Doesn't get any better than that. Salad was also fresh. Pick up line was crazy as everyone was ordering to go. Service was good.

This use to be the New York Pizza Depot but they moved and changed their name. Still great pizza. It's New York style pizza. Nice crispy crust with plenty of flavor while not being greasy.

They cooked the basil WITH the pizza...

Last time we ate here was during the day, not crowded and pretty good. This time it was night so it was busy and seemed short handed. Salad was a little sad, cheese steak was a good portion but too salty. The waitress was very kind and amicable, if stretched a bit thin. She took off our salad and apologized for the issues we had, including the 45 minute wait for our food.

Fly

Place is super cute. Staff looked friendly! Waitress was fantastic but the fly problem is disgusting. Couldn't eat the pizza there because of how many times my date and I had to swat flies. At one point there was five flies sitting with us at the booth! The cheese sticks 10/10 as well as the pizza. Just get it to go! The atmosphere could be so nice if they got an exterminator asap!

Garlic knots (they come in orders of 2).

First time ordering from here. During the quarantine of 2020. Drove from Gulf Breeze for the food. The mrs. wanted a margarita pie and they have them. She said it was the best margarita pizza she has every had (14"). I got the deluxe (10") with extra sausage and extra onion... I think next time I'll ask for quadruple sausage & onion. Tasted great non-the-less. Very fresh toppings. Also git 4 garlic knots she had 3 of them, so them must have been good as well.

I have been going to nypd since they opened and love every bit of it. My favorite is the Stromboli's and garlic knots.

Great pizza, very popular so plan on a long wait for your order. Told me it would be 45 mins and took hour and 15 minutes to get order.

There were 4 of us-- we split a large house salad, meatballs, bruschetta, garlic bread, and the carbonara. The garlic is SO garlicky and delicious. The portions were good, the salad was huge. HOW he does this with talking in Italian with guests at the bar and not watching the dough is an art. The 3 TV screens near our bar top tables play Andrea Bocelli videos as we were greeted warmly by Lisa our server and Sunny the owner. The appetizer: A must .3 meatballs served in a flavorful sauce .It is all about the sauce and they definitely got it right with Italian tomatoes from Italy and enough to dip our homemade Italian bread. So good we couldn't stop. Our Florentine pizza was equally exquisite .With spinach ,garlic ,tomato sauce and mozzarella. This was a perfect blend of flavors served hot and steamy . The owner even told us to wait 45 seconds so as to not burn our mouth since it came from a 700 degree oven. Would absolutely return every time came back to this area for the spectacular service and atmosphere. It is a short jaunt from the beach .This meal made our stomachs filled with their generous portions and hearts happy.

We got a 14 inch cheese pizza and garlic knots and it was a total of $25. Not a bad price honestly. The pizza is top tier with a great crust, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. the garlic knots were cooked to perfection. might be some of the best knots i've ever had. When we got home, I realized we got an extra pizza - I thought it was because of the online order gaffe (like, maybe it went through), but realized it wasn't that... The pizzas were excellent - we love the crumbled Italian sausage! The big slices reminded us of our New York experiences (and it allowed us to say "we only had 2 pieces!" lol). The garlic knots were pretty good. We ordered a few add-ons... notably the garlic-butter dipping sauce, and a side of Alfredo for dipping. The garlic-butter was CRAZY GOOD - like, real butter with chunks of minced garlic in it. Real stuff. And a lot of it. The Alfredo tasted good, but was a little runny - but it worked. As far as Navarre goes, it seemed there were more chain pizza joints than local ones, so this was a great find that we would totally hit again.

There are two different ways to cook it truly Italian but no recipe that calls for cream or "peas" in it is Italian (The peas in the carbonara with crème fresh is a Gordon Ramsey variant while just using heavy cream is an American variation of this dish.) Now this is not to say their dishes aren't good, they are just not traditional Italian. My mother enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. She actually had to take part of it home. My carbonara was satisfying and the sauce was not runny. In Italy, bread is not an appetizer. You should eat it alongside your main protein or vegetable courses, use it to push food onto your fork, or save it for fare la scarpetta--using a small piece to mop up the leftover sauce on your plate after eating your pasta. Where the bread with olive oil served on the side comes from, I have no clue. Perhaps other items on the menu will be more traditional. Service - the little girl that took our order appeared to be over whelmed. It took me ten minutes to get the check Ambiance- neat and clean. Ordering over the phone (assuming it was transferred to the bar to take the order) were less than thrilled to be burdened with taking an order. Arrived later and deduced by myself I needed to go to the bar to pick it up (because no one would have greeted me waiting at the front door), it was clear the bartenders were gassed up full of themselves being oogled by the college football lushes on the bar and actually waiting on customers wasn't their top priority. The food ordered was surprisingly dull. For a Reuben, it was a lil bit of sauerkraut a tablespoon of Thousand Island thats it. Arbys makes a better Reuben than this.... The club was a gigantic triple-stacked BLT and turkey and zero dressing or condiment, completely dry. I thought that was odd.
