Ponderosa stomp
Kyle V.

Fantastic pizza! Every time we come here we get the ponderosa stomp because it really is the best. It has chicken, bacon, cream cheese, honey, jalapeño and red onion. I wish they had a better selection of local beer like from Odd Colony. They mostly have the big name light beers and only have a few craft beers. Staff is friendly, really small inside with probably only 10 tables.

Remnant from a dairy cooler. Works well!

Oh my gosh. I can't believe that I have lived here almost 6 years and have not eaten here. From the entrance stairway leading down to the eclectic surroundings, the place was very inviting. The staff was extremely friendly. The manager was receptive & informative. This spinach, artichoke dip was delicious. The pizza A brick oven cooked pizza was cooked to perfection. We had the sausage mushroom and onion pizza and had enough to take home after buying a large one. I was ecstatic that they served Guinness in the can rather than the bottle. This place is definitely in our rotation now. And next time we will try one of their specialty pizzas, I highly recommend here.

16" pepperoni and mushroom pizza

The pizza and service were great. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Very nostalgic and artsy. Great selection of ice cold craft beers on tap. The server was timely and didn't hover. Definitely recommend.

While visiting Pensacola, Florida, we headed for what was once Sacred Heart Hospital. Built in 1915, the late Gothic revival building looks more like a castle than a medical facility. After the hospital relocated to another site in 1965, the building has become the home of small businesses, a pizza parlor,  a school (Pensacola School of Liberal Arts). Before eating, we explored other parts of the former hospital. The first three floors are open to the public and house display cases filled with antique medical equipment and other curiosities. The inside was a let down but the outside definitely made up for it. Now on to the pizza. Housed in the basement, O'Zone Pizza Pub has a bar like feel. We chose to be seated in a corridor seating as the bar area was blasting with music and we could hardly hear a thing. We ordered mushroom pizza with half pepperoni. Waitress was patient, helpful and efficient. I'm always super grateful for good service now a days it is so hard to find!! Pizza was responsibly priced. No surcharges. For us this was a one time visit. If you haven't been it'd be worth it just for the experience.

Unique location the basement of an abandoned hospital - took us years to come here, we'll be back when visitors are in town. Service was fantastic, pizza was really good, but the crust was burned - served without comment. Might have still hit 5-stars except they only have canned Coke products. I'm not looking for a $$ single can of Coke. You can go out the back door of the dining area to explore the old hospital's first few floors. I was hoping for a little more with that - mostly offices and yoga studios. The enterance to Ozone's is tucked back in the left side of the hospital under a vine covered entrance way. It's not marked well (vines over the sign), so look hard.

Overall this was such an amazing experience!! As we walked in the door the staff were very friendly, and from the jump the ambiance was incredible. Our server was friendly, helpful, and quick. The food itself was absolutely fantastic, as were the drinks! Everything was brought out relatively quickly, and it tasted absolutely amazing. Definitely will be going again!!

Nutty pie

I still consider myself still new to town. This place popped up when I searched for a new pizza place to try. It's not pizza They call it a pie. Its an unordinary kind of pie. The nutty pie consists of pepperonis, ham, slices of tomatoes, cream cheese and cashews. The pie is not thick or hand tossed its almost like a thin crust but not really thin. What?! I know it sounds weird but the flavor works. Our server is great! Lots of parking. You wait to get seated. They have this corner door that goes to a hallway that connects to a gelato/coffee place. You can try that too while waiting. They will list your name and look for you inside the building when the table is ready. They will let you know that you can't go outside the building while waiting. Plates are paper plates, cups are plastic unless you order alcohol drinks. Sodas are in cans and not refillable for sure. The displays are random, kinda dark in the room, gave me a little chills. My hubby liked the pie and the experience. He mentioned it was randomly weird maybe coz its the old hospital. But we're definitely going back.

This pizza was so incredibly delicious!!!! Ordered takeout which was ready quickly in about 30 minutes, accurate order and made fresh to order. Definitely recommend them :)

A little underwhelming by the pub pizza. We have gotten it in the past and this time it seemed lacking in the usual quality

You know that dangerous moment when work colleagues hype a restaurant so hard that you walk in…read morealready preparing your disappointment speech? That was me heading into Angelena's Ristorante Italiano. By this point, I was fully expecting the usual "it's amazing" translation, which in restaurant terms often means nice lighting, tiny portions, and flavors that peaked at olive oil. Instead, this place did the unthinkable. It actually lived up to the hype. The menu reads like a beautiful collection of words I absolutely cannot pronounce with confidence, but luckily fluency in Italian is not required when your taste buds immediately understand the assignment. I went with the bolognese lasagna, and this thing came out like a love letter to comfort food. Rich, bold, deeply flavorful, and gloriously rustic, the kind of dish that tastes like somebody's grandmother has been perfecting it since the Roman Empire. Every bite had depth. Nothing fussy, nothing trying too hard, just serious flavor delivered with confidence. The focaccia showed up doing exactly what great bread should do: crisp in the right places, soft where it counts, and impossible to stop tearing apart even when you know your entrée is on deck. The appetizer played a completely different game, more delicate, more refined, and smart enough to leave me wanting the next course instead of filling me up before the main event. That's restraint. That's craft. That's a kitchen that knows what it's doing. And the room matches the food. Clean, classy, polished without feeling stiff. The kind of place where everything from the lighting to the plate placement quietly reminds you that yes, somebody here cares. Service was equally dialed in. Professional, on point, and smooth enough that the whole meal just flowed. No awkward gaps, no disappearing acts, no "how is everything?" drive-bys while your mouth is full. This is the rare restaurant that survives workplace hype and then casually exceeds it. Five stars. Angelena's didn't just meet expectations, it made my coworkers look smarter for recommending it.

It wasn't bad, just nothing special. I had the curry wurst the first time I was here, which was nothing like the Curry Wurst in Berlin. Tasted like an American interpretation. This time I had the buffalo wings, which were decent, definitely better than the curry wurst. My mom had the Jaeger Schnitzel, which came with potatoes, she also ordered a side of red cabbage. Jaeger Schnitzel was ok, potatoes were fine. I did like the red cabbage, but it is vinegary, which is the way I prefer it. I noticed other reviewers mentioned this as well. I had the apple strudel. It looked like the ice cream was plated over a week ago, I don't know how to better explain it. The whipped cream was frozen in the center. The strudel was good, but you could tell it had been made a while ago and they had reheated it. It did not come with berries and powdered sugar like it showed on in other pictures on-line. The only staff that seemed to enjoy working there were the young new trainees, you could tell the rest of the staff didn't really want to be there. Decent ambience to get a draft German beer, but there are better places to get dinner on S. Palafox.

The deck is quite enjoyable for a number of reasons. It is shaded and surrounded by lush vegetation and it's much quieter than inside and more conducive to conversation, especially for folks like me who have profound hearing issues. Service is prompt and attentive here. We decided to share the hot pastrami on rye and the antipasto salad. As you can see from the pic the sandwich is ginormous. So good. The antipasto salad here is unlike any I've ever had in my 77 years! It is composed totally of Capicolla, Genoa, and cotto salami, pepperoni, provolone, Swiss and mozzarella cheese, green and black olives, and artichokes marinated in an Italian dressing. There is no lettuce as in all the antipasto salads I've had before. It is absolutely delicious. We were unable to finish our shared portions of the salad and took easily a whole half portion home to enjoy later. As I'm sure I've said before, there's a reason this store is always packed.
