Pizza was huge and good. Staff was friendly. Will be taking family there when they come to visit.

We picked up a pizza one night to try. I called it in and when I arrived I still had to wait longer to pick it up. We bought a cheese special pizza they had. Have to say this was not good. The cheese tasted fake, I guess we should have known because on the menu it just said cheese not a specific kind. It did not have a good taste to the dough or sauce very bland. Like no spices added to it. None of us liked it. We have since talked to a few people who told us to try their other location in Pensacola that it is much better than this one in Pace. Still searching for a good pizza in the area so we may try it sometime there. read more

We eat here a lot now after trying it once. Pizza is delicious, crust is cooked perfectly and toppings and sauce all seem fresh. Service is always friendly and quick. Pick up orders are efficient as well. Definitely recommend read more

I was so excited to try Sky's Pizza Pie! I ordered 4 slices of pizza - (sausage) to go. I didn't not have long to wait, which impressed me. Also the staff at the counter - they were so sweet! However, once I arrived home & I opened the box - the slices are HUGE! But I've never had a slice of pizza that was kind of "soft", if that makes sense. It had a great flavor & I loved the taste of it! So I started to wonder if the softness was just because I drove about 17 minutes home. So about a week later, I stopped by to purchase one slice of pizza to go. But this time, as soon as I got inside my car - I opened it up & ate it on the way home. But it had the same "softness" as the first slices that I'd purchase last week. Again - the flavor was very yummy but I couldn't hold the slice up without it sort of "falling" pretty much all the way down - if that makes sense! So, next time - I'm going to eat my lunch there. Because it's possible it was really soft both times because I ordered it to go. Which will be exciting for my tummy because I've seen their selection of desserts and I now have my mind on a slice of their tiramisu! read more

We had pretty high expectations since everyone has told us we have to have Sky's Pizza since moving here a few years ago. The service was very friendly, but slow. I ordered pineapple topping and didn't get it. You wait for a fresh pizza, and then for it to come out wrong is irritating. The meat toppings were plentiful and no doubt fresh. Unfortunately the crust was burnt underneath and the pizza was just missing something. I don't know what, but it was average for me. I don't know that we'll be back. I was wondering if the other location may be better. read more

Solid start! We got take out on their first weekend open so I am grading them slightly generously. The service and pickup process was a disaster but hopefully they'll iron that out. Nice salad as a starter. The garlic knots were a bit doughy (underdone maybe?) but had a nice flavor. The wings were tasty. The Queen B Stromboli was also good. We had the lasagna pizza which was tasty but maybe overcooked? It was a bit tough and the crust was hard. All in all, glad to have a new option in Pace and fingers crossed they get the quirks ironed out quickly. read more

Went to Newly opened Sky's Pizza in Pace about 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon. It was very quiet and to eat in you could select anywhere to seat. The location is the old Mr. Pollo's with I believe all the same table and chairs, so still nice and new looking. We ordered an 18inch Lasagna pizza. Of course it takes time to make and bake so a little time to wait. The waitress checked on us. It arrived hot and bubbly. An excellent pizza. Cooked well and closest to NY style we have found down here. Not too much sauce, nice dollops of ricotta and a nice amount of sausage and meatballs spread through out. We really enjoyed the crust too. Crunchy and cooked just right - not over or under done. Hopefully we will be back - but would really appreciate some lunch specials. read more

We order from here every week. However I got home today with our pizza and it is 2 inches smaller than what I ordered. We called and the manager on duty said he personally made the pizza and it is correct nothing is wrong with it and refused to do anything unless we brought the pizza back. We asked to be charged for a 18 in instead of a 20 inch. Very rude. We will not be going back to this Sky's pizza. read more

This place is probably the best in Pensacola. Unfortunately, there's lots of lousy pizza here. I personally think they put too much honey in their dough. The sauce is pretty bland and too salty. I do recommend this place because it's the best around here. read more

Service was very slow. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived before 5pm. It slowly filled and many guest were served before us. After an hour wait for our food. We asked for our order and why so many others were served before us. The only explanation given by the server was she couldn't control what order the food was prepared. My husband ordered a beer with xtra lime. He was given one lime and told that was the last one. He ordered a second beer when the food took so long and was given three limes. The food itself isn't good. The chicken tender basket was low quality chicken. The fries were cold and greasy. The cheese knots had a buffalo taste that wasn't appetizing. The 2 pizza looked beautiful but weren't good. This isn't the place for us. read more

The pizza is good. HOWEVER...on a busy night, you can forget good service for the most part. We only saw teenagers/very young adults this evening. It was a busy Saturday night, but what happened tonight shouldn't have. It was interesting that there were only two of us, yet they sat us at a table for four even though two 2-person high tops were open. We felt bad when a family of 3 came in and had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table. Attention to more than one table at a time was virtually impossible for our waitress (Shay). Even though she walked right past us to wait on other tables, she not one time asked if we needed anything, nor did she notice my husband's empty glass pushed near the edge of the table. I finally waved to the young male employee standing at the hostess stand (doing nothing, but had looked our way twice) and asked him to refill my husband's drink since we hadn't seen Shay in several minutes. After our meal, we waited a while for our bill. Shay walked past us several times but never even looked at either of us. My husband finally got up and chased her down to ask for our bill. We are typically generous tippers, but not tonight. We tipped, but not our usual 20-25%. Here, though, is a tip for mgmt if they read reviews. Work with Shay to be attentive to ALL of her customers simultaneously, and train your staff to be supportive of one another. If they see an empty glass, fill it it themselves or bring it to the attention of the waiter/waitress for that table/section. And unless you're forced to be in the kitchen cooking, walk the restaurant with a keen eye for those needing assistance. read more

I think their are some restaurants where you should just dine in and not have your food delivered because the time period between when your food is ready and when it gets to you seriously degrades the food. Maybe that is the case here because I ordered a chicken parm sandwich that was soggy and fried zucchini that was not crispy at all. Waited roughly 2 hours for food order. The high schoolers at the front counter were left to fend for themselves with roughly 20ish people in the lobby angry at the lack of service and long wait times. They were rude and completely unbothered by the situation. read more

For the few times I've had this place while working at whataburger on woodbine rd I can say for my first time having it it is always outstanding. Sadly my self, my husband and 2 other couples came to the pace store Saturday. While busy we have seen them busier. They tried to sit 6 grown adults at one small booth and we declined. Told them we would wait for an appropriate table. Their next choice was to sit at the bar where none of us would have been able to have a conversation. We left and not sure if we will be back. The seating options truly suck and it needs to be fixed! read more

We visited on a very slow weekday and had a great experience. Server said it was her 2nd day but she was great at super friendly. Pizza came out very fast and tasted delicious! I do think our table hadn't been wiped down before we sat but other than that, it was great. We'll definitely be coming back before we leave VA. read more

You should ignore the review during start up. They are up to speed now. The lunch special is very good and reasonably priced. Didn't think I would like the NY style but it turns out I love it. Haven't tried anything besides pizza but I will. Glad they are in the neighborhood! read more

I don't usually leave poor reviews as I have worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years and I know how it is... but my husband and I had the worst experience here.. which is so sad because we love Sky's in Pensacola and we're so excited when it opened in Pace !! To start as soon as we walked in the hostess weren't very welcoming or kind... The bar was a disaster with no bartender. Used towels and (5) bottles of (409) just sporadically placed.. My husband and I ended up sitting at the high top table next to the additional hostess stand, I highly recommend moving it away from the table a little bit especially if the waitresses are going to talk bad about the current tables We waited over 40 min for (2) single slices of pizza and a calzone. I noticed other tables had been waiting even longer. The pizza at the Pensacola location comes out BURNING hot... at this location not even close. I also noticed that used cutlery etc would be placed right under where fresh food is placed to be ran Long story short a manager should have definitely been working the floor and assisting the waitresses. I would hate to see how this restaurant runs during a "rush" as it was only 3 PM on a Saturday. Our waitress was super super sweet and very accommodating. read more

I was super excited to hear we were getting an authentic New York style pizzeria near home. I ordered a cheese pizza with extra sauce and instructed we like it to be crispy. We were so disappointed with the quality of this pie that I actually put most of it out in the meadow behind our house for the foxes and coyotes who visit in the evenings. The sauce was incredibly bland, the crust was doughy, and the quality of the cheese was poor. The only way this resembled an authentic New York pizza was the fact you can fold the slices. Really hate writing these words, but its the truth. Before I start, DO NOT stay away from Sky's, stay away from Pace Sky's! The Sky's in Pensacola is an entirely different level of quality. We love going to the AMC Bayou 15 and then Sky's or vice versa, but I will not give Pace Sky's another cent. We got take-out twice right after they opened, but we attributed the negative interactions with the store and food to the "new-ness" and said we would give them a while before trying again to iron out the kinks. I go in today around 4 pm to pickup a pizza, garlic knots and 12 boneless wings and the place was almost empty. The wings were the best part, but only because I was aware of how dry the wings were and ordered a side of buffalo sauce, that saved them. The pizza was okay, but having to pay for "3X" the pepperoni and getting what looked like normal pepperoni with maybe 3 or 4 on each piece was saddening to say the least for my kids. The garlic knots is what did it, they ended my ability to go here ever again and caused me to refuse to pay a penny for anything else. The entire thing other than the very outside crust was raw dough. I hope to get some pictures to post, but this is not an exaggeration. If we're in the area, we may stop at Sky's in Pensacola, but even then I know the money is going to the same place, sadly. This is VERY disturbing as I know the Milton/Pace community was excited to see Sky's was coming from the rumors that they were taking over that awful "steakhouse" on Woodbine to the rumors that they were taking the building that Cosse's currently occupies. Some locally owned businesses would be great, but the quality needs to be the same as it is in a "big" city like Pensacola as it is here in Pace/Milton. I hope things change, but I don't think I will be a part of it anymore, not financially anyways. read more
