We have been loyal customers of this pizza place for over three years, and unfortunately tonight was our first truly disappointing experience. The pizza we received was clearly undercooked and overstretched -- the dough was soft and not properly baked, making it very difficult to enjoy. Mistakes can happen, and we were prepared to handle it calmly. However, what really upset us was the way the situation was handled when we called. The girl who answered the phone was laughing while I was explaining the issue, showed no concern, and didn't even ask for my name or order information. When I politely asked to speak with a manager or the owner, I was told no one was there, which was frustrating and unprofessional. After years of supporting this business, this experience was very disappointing. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and tonight both fell short. Unfortunately, they have lost a loyal customer. I do plan to reach out to the owner directly in hopes this can be addressed so it doesn't happen to others. read more

We have been dissatisfied with the food at Georgio's several times after ordering from them since 2023. Greek salad was all lettuce and tomatoes for $10. Spaghetti and eggplant parmesean soggy and tasteless. Philly steak pizza lacking generous meat for $28. We loved this family owned restaurant at first, but they have declined in quality for us. Went with a group of 5 neighbors. While most ordered pizza, I ordered the eggplant parmigiana grinder (sub). I'm from CT where there are an abundance of Italian restaurants that serve eggplant parmigiana grinder with multiple layers of eggplant and cheese. That is what I expected here, but did not get. My grinder had one layer of thin-sliced eggplant and little cheese and sauce. If I wanted just bread, I would have ordered that. Very disappointing. My neighbors raved about the pizza and it looked good. And our server was very sweet and accommodating. Three stars for her! On Halloween night, I ordered a specialty White pizza. This comes with provolone, romano, mozzarella, parmesan, feta and white cheddar cheese. Since it's a specialty, it's more expensive than the non-specialty pizzas. They were extremely busy, so the wait was nearly 40 minutes. I've been eating at this restaurant for over thirty years, and we order this pizza every time we go. They are good at getting orders correct, so I didn't even think to look at it before I took the to-go order home. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box. What I got was a cheese pizza that looked as if someone realized that it wasn't made correctly so they threw some feta on top to make it look more like the white pizza. My wife and I were very disappointed. Usually you must eat the white pizza with a fork. This was very thin and didn't taste anything like what was ordered. I've been a loyal customer to this place for years & it is one of the best pizza joints in town. The staff are always friendly & they are wearing masks & gloves per Covid standards. They have a wide variety to choose from pizza wise. However, they also have a few pasta dishes & burgers if you're not in the mood for pizza. Their House Special pizza is loaded with toppings & the cheese holds all those toppings in a magical way. You'll definitely have to eat the first piece with utensils. Visited in Jan 2021. Very funky hours around the holidays/covid. It actually took the 3rd time of driving to the location to actually find it open. Looks like a dive outside/inside but trust me the food was EXCELLENT. We made a custom pizza of pepperoni, spinach, & olives and it was so good. The crust is phenomenal. Loved every bite. The other 3 people in our party loved their pizza as well. My one big advice would be to invest in a better mop. The whole place when we were there was sticky. Audibly sticky. That means you need a mop like Norwex or a steamer mop. It just gives a false "dirty" perception to the customer. This was the WORST Service I have ever received. My Mom & I waited at least 45 minutes for a Lg. 4 Topping Pizza. Nothing special with the pizza or toppings. Just Regular toppings. We actually weren't able to try the food. They don't take order of guests waiting for tables or give you a timeline of how long it will take. We have tried to get in to eat twice now and they were either closed at an odd time or like this last time. Parking lot is a nightmare and not near enough parking. My husband and I decided to try this place on a whim. The reviews we read were mixed, so we took the gamble and it paid off. Let me first say the staff was very friendly and our waitress was great! We started off with the hummus appetizer, which is served with fried pita chips. The hummus was creamy and topped with an olive mixture, which allows you to get a bit of olive with each bite. An olive lovers dream! My husband and I decided to split a 10" House Special Pizza (equivalent to a supreme) and the Big Belushi burger, which was plenty for the two of us. The pizza crust is worth mentioning. It's the perfect blend of crispy crust and soft, buttery dough. The sauce didn't over power the pizza and allowed the flavor of the toppings to stand alone. The burger was good, but average. Based on the description we were expecting a stuffed burger. The cheese and bacon is chopped into the meat, which was a little disappointing. The building and and dining area is dated with a very casual atmosphere. Maybe not the place you want to visit for a nice date night. All in all, it was a good dining experience. read more

I really really wanted to like this pizza. This is a local place with a good reputation, and I like to support local businesses. We ordered takeout a vegetarian pizza and a couple of other items and it was ready quickly. My husband went to pick it up and the staff was all congregating and no one was wearing a mask or gloves. And that's probably fine, just kind of unwise when it comes to public perception. When we got the pizza home - a very short drive away - the pizza was all wet. When you make a vegetarian pizza, especially one with tomatoes, you MUST lightly salt and dry the tomatoes and make sure the other vegetables are dry as well. The crust was soggy and wet and undercooked anyway, doughy and floppy just an inch past the edge.The cheese just slid off in globs. The crust on the edges was really good, so I'm guessing it COULD have been good if it had been cooked correctly. There was also waaaaaay too much cheese, just a thick mass of it, rubbery and tasteless. Usually, I'd think maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. But this is pizza.
