We've eaten at the Marco's Pizzeria in Pea Ridge, FL several times, but hadn't for a few years. I'm not really sure why we stopped going there, but we went again a couple of days ago and I wanted to write a review. The choices we have are all chain pizza shops in the direct vicinity. Marco's is one. We've given up on Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and Papa John's. The quality is really poor at each of those locations. Pizza Hut was our go-to when we were first married (35 years ago) and neither of us can stand their pizza today - at least at the Milton, FL location. Going back to Marco's was something that I'd been wanting to do for awhile. I'm happy that we did. I ordered a 14" pizza with sausage and pepperoni. We went for lunch so I ordered it during the drive to the store, which takes about 20 - 25 minutes. It was ready when we got there and it was hot. The pizza was very tasty. We ate half of it in the store and brought the rest home. I heated it up for lunch the next day. The dough has to be made fresh on-site and not shipped in frozen like most of the others. The crust is really good, the sauce is a tad sweet, but still very good. The pepperoni and sausage were also very good. What can I say, it was good. There was little in the way of service to discuss other than they answered when I called, they took the order, they took my money at the register and handed me the pizza. I don't have one negative thing to say about service at that location. My only negative is that they don't serve unsweetened iced tea. I do get to have a cup of root beer I suppose. I just don't drink carbonated soda as a rule, but really enjoy the occasional root beer, so no point taken for the iced tea thing. My final comment is that of all of the chain pizza restaurants in this area, Marco's is the best in my opinion. read more

My wife and I appreciate good pizza and don't mind paying more for consistently good quality. Generally, to be fair, Marco's is quite good, especially for a large chain. Unfortunately, we got our second sub-par pizza from Marco's in the last few months tonight and although we ate some of it, we were quite disappointed. On both occasions the pizza had almost no marinara sauce and was dry and tasteless. When they're good, they're very good. But this is two strikes now and the next one will be the last. read more

Good pizza, top choice in my house for delivery. The pepperoni magnifico is amazing. Would recommend. Gets super busy on weekend nights so expect longer delivery Tim's during peak hours. The food is wonderful. My husband got the All Meat pizza, and loved it! The crust was just right not too thick or thin with a good flavor. The toppings were generous with plenty of pepperoni, sausage and cheese. I got the Deluxe Pizza Bowl which was also wonderful. We walked in and ordered a salad and a lg pizza. We got our salad right away brought to the table. It was 40 mins from when we ordered that we had to walk to the counter to ask how much longer on our pizza. It had been sitting on the rack boxed up. The pizza was cold. I went back up after we ate because we were so hungry and I told the guy at the counter. Another customer came in right after we got our box and their order was ready within minutes , delivered to the table on pan not in a box and from tables away I could see the steam coming off the pizza. I called for a delivery and they put my order in as a carry out. When i called to see where my pizza was they said they messed up and it would be delivered shortly. It came soon after but without the drink i ordered. Ok no big deal we had food. Well the next day i looked on my checking account and they charged my card twice. Today i call for them to fix it and they sure were not concerned with my trouble. They told me there was nothing they could do, it would be twelve hours before it would come off and they didnt offer any incentive for me for my trouble. Im not rich that money is now unavailable because of their mess up they could have at least offered some free pizza or a sincere apology. Out of human error on my part i got regular crust instead of thin, best mistake with pizza ever! I was expecting some dense olive garden breadstick kinda nonsense, but instead i got a beautifully airy and savory treat at the end of my pizza. We had a coupon and we were told it was dine in only however the coupon did not state that. The pizza that I ordered was sparse on ingredients because I ordered green olive and literally there may have been a tablespoon over the whole medium pizza and the flavor is lacking even my husband who is a big fan of Marco's Pizza said there's not a lot of flavor at all so going forward we will eat pizza from somewhere else. Fantastic pizza!!!! We eat here whenever we are out that way but never at home, as they don't deliver to our neighborhood. The last time we were in the store we talked with the manager Ben and he stated that YES they are now delivering to our neighhood. Let me start by saying, in the end they made it right by giving us a future free specialty pizza. I wanted to use online ordering and had a coupon. It would not take the coupon so I ended up having to call in my order. I wanted to change up my specialty pizza (only because this was an option on line). I ordered and reordered my pizza 3 times...and they delivered 3 different pizzas...but they never got it right. I ordered and Reordered with 3 different drivers/employees. I ended up with an extra pizza and the future coupon. But all I really wanted was what I ordered. I will eat with them again because I LOVE their pizza but I will not adjust the toppings.
