It was also a little on the loud side, but not annoyingly so. It felt like a great place for a group of friends to come and get some food and drinks. I was excited to try the drinks--i started with La Guapa which I loved!! It wasn't too sweet, and not spicy either, despite the jalapeno. I followed it up with La Rosa.I typically love prickly pear margaritas, but this one was a little too sweet for me (but still good). The chips and salsa to start were great, nice and crispy. I had the green enchiladas for my entree and thoroughly enjoyed it. My mom just went with a chicken quesadilla and also enjoyed hers. For dessert, we had flan. Ended up being more dinner than lunch. I was walking all around downtown Napa looking at options and then looking them up on Yelp and just not really finding what I was looking for. After a while comfort food was on my mind and Los Agaves delivered. I always order chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. I feel you can usually tell how good the food will be if they have really good chips and fresh salsa. The chips were delicious, salted just right and super crunchy. They honestly tasted like the chips my mom and grandma would make. They were super fresh as if they were made that day or recently. The salsa was soooo good. Has a little bit of heat at the back of the mouth once you take a bite. The cilantro comes through and offers fresh herbiness. And there is a hint of Smokeiness to the salsa as well. It's well balanced and you can actually taste each ingredient. I also love the consistency little chunks of onion, tomato, pepper, and cilantro but still a little liquidy so you can dip. I also ordered the Los Agaves cocktail (tequila, lime, cucumber, agave, and ube. I didn't really notice the ube flavor but it added beautiful color. The cucumber comes through. The tequila is also present , no watered down drinks here. :) I couldn't decide between steak or chicken tacos and my waitress said how about both? Sold. The meal was excellent. The tacos are fully loaded with meat, they don't skimp. But the real show stopper is the steak taco. It was so tender and flavor full. I ordered it without the cheese and I'm glad I did because it's the star of the dish all on its own. The rice and beans were lovely too, flavor yet light. The whole meal was exactly what I needed to recharge. I think one of the best things is this meal is light yet fulfilling. You don't feel bloated, overly full, or heavy. It's not greasy. The Ravioli al Limone was rich, creamy, and full of bright lemon flavor--definitely a must-order if you love fresh pasta. A few friends at our table have been on an Italian food kick lately and ordered the chicken, and it exceeded everyone's expectations. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and definitely not an afterthought on the menu. And of course, the pizza was a huge hit with the kids. After they both tasted the drinks, the one who ordered the double espresso quickly realized what happened. Once the person who got her correct drink tried the greppa kiss, she was completely taken aback! There's alcohol in it, which isnt depicted on the menu at all and the waitress didn't mention this either until we asked. She should have mentioned there's alcohol as we had to drive back. As for the food, I couldn't choose between the gluten free cacio e pepe and the polenta so I got both. They're both very delicious and cheesy. The vegetable ragu was alright

It honestly had a fish taco texture, but with no fish. We wish this restaurant were nearby us. The restaurant is fast casual, you order at the cashier and then a server delivers your food to you. The service is great, the employees are friendly, offer suggestions, and checkin to make sure everything tastes good. This is a can't miss cafe. If you are in Napa go for breakfast or lunch.

The ambiance is great, comfortable with a nuetral-toned landscape and a vinyl record player going I felt welcome right away. My table was wobbly despite the feet being flat as the tabletop itself seemed to be loose which made it a bit challenging to cut and eat my food without fear of my plate or latte accidentally tipping over. Overall I definitely recommend Southside.
