Small bakery with a sleek interior located in Saint Helena. The pastries and other bites made here…read morelook amazing and sound delicious. We were dining in the area and I was looking for a baguette to go along with some charcuterie we picked up earlier in the area. We had just eaten so this particular visit was really to come in and get some bread (although I really want to come back to try their pastries and other wonderful looking creations). The service is friendly and they try to help you as soon as you are ready to order. It was also later in the day so it seemed like the options, at least on display, were limited. But I didn't take too much time looking because we already knew what we wanted. There is also a variety of coffee or caffeinated as well as refreshing beverages available to order and it looks like they have a beer/ wine license here in case you wanted to dine in. Just a really great place that left a great impression and I will definitely be hitting this place up the next time I'm in the area.

Had their almond and plain croissant. Both were okay, nothing special. I honestly wish their…read morecroissants were more fluffy and airy, it's more dense. The almond croissant has a sweet taste a bit and it's because there's a bit of orange mixed in with the topping. The staff was polite although they gave my friend the incorrect item and later found out the correct item was given to another person by mistake - mislabeling the displays. This was during the last hour on a Sunday. I wouldn't return, I can find better pastries elsewhere.

There's a cool skatepark behind it as well. The owners were so friendly and humorous as well. I went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't incredibly busy around 11:30am. Enjoyed my hot vanilla latte in a coffee mug which are all different designs. I had the barekas. The babka roll was not very fresh so that was my only negative. I'll definitely go back.

You will find that amazing vibe in this area and Lightwave Coffee exemplifies a movement that was so much about optimism and love. Interior and exterior are amazing with much of the decoration being made from found objects. I loved all the old electronic and mechanical devices inside and loved the mishmash cups and plates that made it feel like you were eating in a friends kitchen. The food and coffee we got were abnormally high quality and we recommend the cookies and the basil ice lemonade. So good after a long day outdoors. Right next to it is a community farm that felt so welcoming and chill. Volunteers were weeding and cleaning on the weekend and it reminded me the very best of the game Stardew Valley. Right next to it is a concrete skatepark and a guy was shredding it when we went. So worth a stop for all these bonus quests! They also had a "pay what you want" little section of potted plants you can take away such as chilis, tomatoes, etc...

Ordered food for pickup and it was ready to go…read more Got the chorizo burrito $12 And Avocado toast (two slices) with poached egg and fruit $12 Added on 2 drinks- Small nitro cold brew $5 Small dulce de leche latte (less sweet) $5 Food and drinks were perfect and I felt like I got the best value for my money. This would have easily been $60 in San Francisco, The latte art was a perfect heart and I can taste a perfectly pulled espresso shot. The nitro cold brew was fine with enough foam. I have a slightly different coffee taste palette so I won't deduct points based on my coffee note preference. The location is good with ample street parking and what looks to be a customer parking lot (I haven't confirmed). Fabrice did a nice job in selecting a historic Vallejo spot and bringing in French vibes. The coffee bar wall and mirror definitely looks like an original 1900's piece. The wood tables inside and the bistro chairs outside keep the modern cafe feel with a Parisian vibe. I'll definitely come back. Thank you Fabrice for being a long time Vallejo merchant and reviving downtown Vallejo with your cafe!

Sadly, All the workers were unfriendly and appeared miserable. No one was welcoming or smiling. I was taken aback when a coffee house ran out of brown sugar. Our Breakfast for 2 was $60. The waffles and pancakes were dense and undercooked, the pancakes had a bad taste to them a slight fishy taste, we had one bite and left the rest. The atmosphere has become untidy, cluttered, Christmas trees out in June, and the outside patio was not clean. I had high hopes for this neighborhood small business, but unfortunately will not patron them again.

Brickmaiden Breads did not disappoint!…read more Dropping in during our Point Reyes Station visit, the honey adored their focaccia and couldn't stop raving about it, while I ended up ordering an amazing massive meringue and some delicious canned coconut water. The service was friendly and helpful and we loved that they carry simit. I also can't speak highly enough about their gorgeous outside garden area and how lovely it was to sit and enjoy our snacks there. All in all Brickmaiden Breads is an absolutely must-try if you're in the area and I can't recommend them enough!

They are busy and had a short line, I spent maybe 10m total waiting to order then waiting for my food to come out. I spent $41.48 on: Toast with (I think goat?) cheese, honey, seeds & flowers - 4.5 stars Rye-chata latte - 4.5 stars Olive oil cake - 4 stars Cinnamon roll - 4.5 stars. Tasty cream & flowers on top. Croissant - 4 stars (for my daughter) Note there's no restroom but a pretty nice public town one a couple blocks away. There's a beautiful garden with several private little seating nooks. I chose a spot under a trellis that had an artsy looking homemade water fountain coming down from a small water tower. Very idyllic to sit here and sip your delicious coffee and have your tastypastry.
