Went for the luau and had a blast. Crew was very energetic and a lot of fun. Kept us very entertainened and we learned a lot of local culture. Food was awesome and varied. Definitely not a commercialized presentation. Well worth the $$ The location is beautiful as well. Make sure you take a camera. Post dance party was great too.

The view, doesn't do it justice

We just went here for my birthday last night and it was the best time. The staff all had high energy and the welcome feeling and the anticipation to have a great time but also embrace and teach us more of the Hawaiian culture is always so breathtaking and inspiring. I've come here for years.. countless luaus and I just have to say this experience topped it. It's intimate which I loved!!! They're so fun, talented, and just so genuine! The food was amazing.. My daughter ate from the food that was served but I had food restrictions and they were able to accommodate me. The salmon was delicious and my daughter ate til she was about to pop! Thank you for the most amazing time and another one for the books!! Hopefully one day I won't have to call it a vacation and have it my home but until then we always come back for more!! Great job Nutridge!!! The view as well is amazing!! We made it just in time because it was sprinkling but by the time we ate and had entertainment, it was raining.. perfect way to spend a night while traveling here. Come check it out! You won't regret it!! Loved the host Kai and cousin Reno! They were amazing!!

Having only been to Oahu once, this is definitely the experience you don't want to miss. An immersive dive into the Polynesian culture, an afternoon full of entertainment, amazing views and delicious food are a few things this experience has to offer. Be there or be square!

Hands down the luau experience! Nutridge is a beautiful property overlooking Honolulu. The luau here is much smaller and more intimate than many of the other luaus. We were able to have "front row" feel with the shows and dinner. The cousins took great care of us and we were honored to hear about their history and the culture of Hawaii. We will definitely be coming back! Mahalo and Aloha Nutridge Estate!

We went to experience nutridge luau last night and it was amazing. It was not your typical tourist luau. It was very intimate only about 60 people and farm to table. The luau is on David's property in the mountains and the staff spend the time walking you around the property to see the amazing views and learn the history of Hawaii..cousin Kai and all the staff are friendly and so welcoming. We even were able to buy a case of pineapples from the property to take home.. I would highly recommend this luau if you are visiting Oahu! Mahalo nutridge!

I attended a wedding at Nutridge Estate not knowing that this place ever existed!! They are located in a private driveway and once you pull in there are only a handful of stalls right in front of the property. Therefore, for the wedding there was valet service. They had to park the cars all up and along the private driveway. More than enough parking for everyone and there was over 150 people at the wedding. It is only a few steps into the property. To the right there is a small cottage overlooking the city. In front of the cottage there is a cemented area with a beautiful white tent. The property slopes downward and there are so many different trees. I was told that there are macadamia nut trees! To the left they set up a giant tent for the reception and there are restrooms. The property is really large and seems never ending. It was rainy that day so the ground was extra muddy. Expected with Hawaii! The views in general were the dealbreaker! They even have a super cute bench swing on a giant tree overlooking the city!! So beautiful!!! They do not only offer venue rental they also offer tours of their property. Like I said they have macadamia nut trees that were originally there from back in the day! Definitely check it out!!

Ask the Community - Nutridge Estate

Can this venue hold a wedding reception with 250 guests? Or is 150 the max?

They can do large events. You will need to put up tents and rent all of the needed equipment. It is lovely in the early morning and evening. Parking stretches along the main road curving up to the lookout.

This was a year ago, I didn't get a chance to until recently. I wanted to check out Sweet Mango's showroom which happens to be at The Pineapple Patio. From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk. I read that it is best to check Instagram/social media's Pineapple Patio page for the upcoming events. What a great idea and great place to get your shopping done!

Another thing that I'm thinking about is possibly holding a bridal shower here in the future. Looks like a perfect venue to rent out and cater food at. (Not necessary to get catering, but definitely an option) They also rent out their furniture and plants that they have showcased around the patio. Super cute place and hope to be back soon!

As a child, I remember admiring and wondering who lived in this estate that borders Kapiolani Park…read more It was once known as the Winstead House that was built around the early-1900's. The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

Usually m, people have to figure out what to do or where to go at these events, no?! Lol. But this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was AWESOME! Of course my son didn't want to watch himself on screen, but, we all loved it! He did well. In fact, they ALL DID! Every single film was done excellent! I wish we could've stayed for the whole thing, but unfortunately we had to leave early because the kids had school the next day. So we left around 9pm. Maybe next time we'll have a better chance in watching our son on screen again. Soon! For sure... Ok that's about it! OH! And the restroom! Oh my... it's an experience to have. Lol! It's amazing! One door for ALL to enter. Then as you pass the main door, your in the lobby of the restroom. Like they have in fancy theaters or auditoriums or hotels. Yup! Only difference is, there's no seats or chairs to lounge on. There's a long marble counter top with about 5 individual sinks. Each side accessible for anyone to wash up. Mirrors along the wall. And then the MENS DOOR for their restroom is on the left and the WOMENS on the right. Ever the bathroom stalls were cozy. Toilet seats were nice and comfy, not those public restroom toilets.
