We ordered the combo mahi mahi with rice and papaya salad! Oh my GOODNESS!!! Their Fried Mahi mahi with coconut batter was PERFECT! The coconut batter complimented the fish. It didn't over power it. Another member of my party ordered the Thin Noodles and another ordered the Coconut Combo Plate. We received our order rather quickly and ate at the picnic tables provided. Honestly, I really didn't know what to expect with the Papaya Salad. It is definitely a meal in itself. I probably won't order that again. There were so many compliments over the noodles, and from someone who hasn't ventured beyond traditional American food, that is impressive! Also, the Coconut Combo Plate was a hit for both those sharing it. They said both the Mahi and Shrimp were VERY good! And who doesn't like to eat out in nature and enjoy the 'wildlife'. Be sure to watch for the sign as you approach - we drove by the first time and came back to make it into the parking lot. The person taking orders was helpful and warned us right away that they were out of curry. The person who makes it measures from her heart, won't share her recipe, and was out shopping. We shared the fried rice with chicken and some spring rolls. It was all so delicious, and fun to sit on the deck and watch the road and town while relaxing after the crazy road. My real praise starts a couple hours later. As we made it to our next stop, I remember that I had never taken my bag off the back of the chair back at the restaurant! I called as soon as we had a phone signal again, and the gentleman who answered the phone assured me right away that he'd seen it and was keeping it safe. I told him we'd be back for it the next day, and he told me what time he'd be there. Luckily for me, hubs drove back alone the next day (he loves the road, and it's more fun for him without me panicking from the passenger seat). The man at the restaurant said he'd tried to get our attention as we left, and again when we drove by after visiting the shore! I was so grateful to have my stuff back, and be able to board our plane the next day with my id. P.S. - the food and service was 5 stars even if they hadn't helped with my mix up later!

Tiki Thai has flavors that align with what we normally eat at home (Lao food) and we weren't disappointed. We ordered a lot and it took a bit for them to prepare but it was understandable given we wanted to have a bit of everything. We always strive to support local wherever we are and felt accomplished that we were able to do that plus be able to support our Lao/Thai/Esan Island peeps while on this trip. :) Everything was tasty so you can't go wrong here!

The peanut sauce did not have distinct flavor, kind of brown paste with a slight peanut flavor. . It was rather mild. We did have the Thai soup with shrimp, which was good had an authentic flavor. The two main courses we had were just acceptable. Nothing more the pad Thai was bland no hint of chili powder eggs no bean sprouts definitely a pass. . The server that took our order didn't ask us if we wanted it spicy or bland just assumed we wanted a bland by looking at us. I don't think I'll be coming back there anytime soon. There are better options.
