Ok, hold the press's or social media posts cause if your not eating at this food truck your missing out. Frank B has dined & approved of this Thai Food truck in Kihei due to orgazmic dining experience served up in a bowl. YES folks I LOVE Thai Mee Up's culinary delights so much I've stopped counting I make my way to the truck. First off the truck itself looks clean & regal especially with the giant elephant located on the roof. It looks clean , smells clean and with the giant plasma TV's show you what's about to be served you'll feel safe about your choices. Simple order process and then after 10 mins your order is called out and ready for pick. Every dish I've dined on has its own taste signature and is rapturous to the body.. My top food choices is Garlic Shrimp ,Pad Thai with Shrimp and Ribeye & Lobster. Needless to say all items are sensational for the tastes buds and the costs are extremity priced out well for your budget. Come on and try a BIG BUDGET TASTE for a low budget cost.. I'm sure you'll agree with FRANK THIS OLACE IS GREAT !
Don't walk here, run! The fried pork ribs, the chicken fried rice, the pad tai and the drunken noodles are all amazing , thought we would adventure out and try a bunch of places in the area during our stay but we found ourselves going back to Thai mee up multiple times. And for the price you get a heaping pile of food. This location is in a fun food truck garden, don't get caught up right in the entrance take a walk all the way to the back. Enjoy all the baby chickens running around looking for a bite to eat. The service is great the cook was funny and quite the character but man he can cook!
Quite a long wait time here on a Saturday evening, so I highly recommend being ready for it! We were on a trip to Maui and husband really wanted some Thai food so we were pleasantly surprised to have gotten a good option here! They were only taking to go orders because we came in quite late and they seem to be very loaded with orders even that late into the night! They actually missed our order because we went there a good 30 minutes later and still didn't receive our food. So they were kind enough to give us a beverage on the house and rushed our order as well. They were also very apologetic for making his weird this long so we appreciate it. Overall, that pad Thai was delicious! Husband is a pad Thai connoisseur and he approved. Quite a big portion size too.
Drunken noodles were flavorless - not spicy at all and with two very bite size pieces of chicken. Would not get again. (The other noodles are garlic noodles from another truck- would reccomend)
pad see ew ($17) - im a fan; i like how it's not too saucy nor too oily; the pad see ew i usually get would always be super saucy and oily but this was just right - i like how they gave generous amount of stir fry egg, veggies, and quality shrimp - basic but a staple with good flavors - noodles werent clumpy but a bit on the softer side for my liking fried pork rib ($17) - quality pork and didn't feel fried - i liked the chewy texture and the coated sauce, but flavor was lacking a kick; felt like it needed some sweetness or spice to it - it also came in such big chunks that weren't cut into smaller pieces so we had to break it into smaller pieces by ourselves rating: 4/5 - solid thai food and basic; it was pretty average but great for maui where thai food isn't where it's at - have room for improvements both in terms of flavor and texture but it was already pretty yum - quick service nothing much to note - operated as a food truck, located in this zen buddha garden with a bunch of cute benches and fairy lights dangling but during the day gets so excruciatingly hot we had to evacuate back into our car to calm down IG: @nom.noms.only
Hands down one of the best Thai food trucks in Maui. Came here twice just to make sure the hype was real--and both times delivered the same top-tier experience. The Pad Kra Pao was exactly what you want: bold, spicy, and packed with flavor. The basil really came through, the chicken was juicy, and that fried egg on top balanced everything together perfectly over the rice. The Pad See Ew with chicken and shrimp was just as impressive--fresh, chewy noodles with that perfect char, balanced sauce, and a solid mix of veggies. Everything tasted super fresh and came out piping hot. Service was quick, friendly, and consistent both days. No misses here--this spot is the real deal. 5/5
This is found in the South Maui Gardens. My kids and I loved it so much, we ate here twice during our stay. We had Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, the Simple Grill with lobster, and fried rice. The sauce served with the lobster? PHENOMENAL. I could drink that by itself. The kids loved the Pad See Ew. Customer service is super friendly and I thought they were quick in providing orders.
I best Thai place to n Kīhei road. Located n South Maui Gardens. The place is an outside dining. Loved the ambiance. I got the Massana curry with mad veggies. So divine. The curry was a delicious that I ate the whole dish. The pumpkin veggie on it was so soft. Can taste he sweetness. Get Ahi plate with papaya pickled, Chinese broccoli and rice absolutely recommended. Don't miss it . Self service
Got the pad see ew here for lunch. It did not taste like authentic pad see ew. It was still good and had a good portion. I almost finished the whole thing. It was just more of a soy sauce flavor than anything. Traditionally there is an oyster sauce/ sugar flavor but I couldn't taste that. The service was good and pretty quick. My son got the Panang curry and really enjoyed it. I didn't get a chance to try it. There is lots of shaded seating nearby.
This location and this spot should be your GO TO SPOT for Thai food in Maui! Fantastic drunken noodles, and epic pad Thai!!! Wonderful service and extremely busy! A tough find considering there is a food truck area right in front of it! But trust your GPS, and head further back!!! This spot is located inside a beautiful garden oasis with live music. We stopped by the Kihei location and the we ordered the Panang Red Curry with Chicken for myself and my wife had the Pad Thai with Shrimp. The dishes here are probably among the best Thai food we have had. It was piping hot and the Red Curry had a little heat, while the Pad Thai was mild, but a hit of heat near the end. Thai Mee Up was the busiest of all the food trucks here and it was obvious that their food was of a high quality. Very friendly service and they were handing out samples of a number of their grilled specialties. We will make this one of our go-to to places here!
Driving around trying to find a spot in a place you are new to and stumbled upon this gem! And I kid you not their food is restaurant level! Like OMG! My wife and I came here like 3 times in 5 days! We couldn't get enough! For a food truck they are definitely worth every penny! There are 2 locations we went to for them and both did not disappoint! They have tables out so you can sit and eat or else get it to go! We loved their food! We got the chicken fried rice and chicken pad Thai and both were delicious! We got the same thing every time! They do have a catchy name! We loved their food! Will definitely be back when we come back to visit Hawaii!
This is on a really nice neighborhood and a complex where there are plenty of food trucks with multiple options for you to choose à la cart and feast with your friends and family. There's a nice sit out area where you all can sit, but there is plenty of parking issues you need to find what before you get there . Coming back to the food here the food taste is delicious. It is amazing taste but the quantity was kid size. Literally kids can have this entire meal for the price I paid. If a person can spend 25 to 24 bucks for an entrée at least they don't want to go empty stomach or half stomach. If they can work on that that's great. The service was not too bad. It took us 20 minutes after we paid the bill to get the food.

Thai Mee Up has this amazing savory addictive sauce that enhances their dishes and is a must go to if you're on the Southside. As we approached the truck, the cashier asked if we wanted to try an Ahi sample and it was BOMB! It sat atop a small amount of rice and had lots of yummy garlic. My two friends ended up ordering it and it looked delicious! It had broccoli and bok choy and it even came with a cup of Thai Papaya Salad. I went with my usual order, the Cashew Tofu (or you could get Shrimp or Chicken) Stir Fry with lots of delicious crunchy veggies like Carrots, Broccoli, Onion, Red Bell Pepper and Zucchini. Kihei has been so hot and humid so we ordered to go so we could enjoy it at home in the cool AC but if you're thinking of some Thai food, hit up Thai Mee Up! The prices are reasonable and they try to get your order out fast. read more
Quick service and just to the right on the entry of food area. Plenty of tables and light music playing. Humidity is real, however there was a nice breeze that helped to manage. Great for groups or single. The prices are actually pretty good considering it's Hawaii and you expect to pay more on the islands. Food tastes great too! read more

Not sure where to even start. I've heard so many good things about Thai mee up that we had to come!! We ordered the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and could not get enough! It was delicious! We would have ordered more food if we had room in our belly! 10/10! read more
Finished my trip to Hawaii Thai food for dinner. This food truck in the food oasis was definitely one of my favorite. The counter area was clean, the seating was plentiful, and the lady at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was served fairly quick 5/5. I orders Drunken noodles (not pictured), Pas See Ew with shrimp, and the fried BBQ pork ribs. The tea was lovely, and has somewhat of a smokey aroma and flavor to it, met with that delightful sweet cream, 5/5! The BBQ pork was by far my favorite dish, it was juicy, well marinated, and didn't have an absurd amount of fat, definitely a 5/5. The noodles (drunken and pad) were slightly lacking. The noodles were cooked too long so the texture was a bit gummy, and the drunk noodles had zero spiciness even though the menu called them spicy. The fresh veggies in it was good, and the shrimp was awesome, but the basil was flavorless and didn't have the punch I expected from them, for this reason both noodle dishes get a 3.5/5. We went looking for a lunch spot. I decided to go with drunken noodle with shrimp. The food was fresh and delicious. The seasoning was perfection. Found a shady area to sit in and enjoyed the food. The service was great and food was served quickly. I enjoyed every bite! I simply wish the portion was a tiny bit bigger for $18, I feel like I should have had more than 5 shrimps. The meal is served on some fresh cabbage which gives a nice crunch but the actual food portion is a bit small. read more

Really solid Thai food (in the South Maui Gardens) for a reasonable price! The drunken noodles were my favorite with a nice wok-seared flavor. The fried pork ribs dish isn't the most traditional Thai sounding, but it's unique and definitely reminds me of like a hybrid BBQ/salt and pepper style pork chop. The lemongrass chicken was a bit basic, but didn't lack in lemongrass flavor and I did enjoy the sweet chili sauce honestly. They are very popular at dinner time, but the wait time wasn't bad. Service was very friendly; they even unexpectedly gave me a complimentary Thai tea since they had to take extra time to re-do a dish they prepped wrong. read more

Absolutely amazing! Friendly staff, adorable food truck, clear menu, quick service, and delicious food. I opted for the Pad Thai w/ Chicken and Tofu which was reasonably priced and portioned. So glad I picked this spot among all of the options! Highly recommend! read more
Great location and even better food! Have been multiple times on different visits to Hawaii and everytime the food has been amazing. One of my favorite Thai teas that I have ever had!! The chicken pad Thai is fantastic, so full of flavor! read more
Very good thai food coming from this truck. It's actually more like a giant kitchen on wheels that never moves. There are many options around this food truck park but this one seems to be most popular. They offered free samples, which we tried, but decided to do the full walk around just to see what else was available. We eventually made our way back to Thai Mee Up and gave it a try and was not disappointed. Ordered the Penang Curry and Pad See Ew and it tasted very good. The food was piping hot (cooked to order) and you don't have to bring it very far to enjoy it as bench tables are abundant here. Grab a seat by the music entertainers, if scheduled, for a relaxing time. read more

We picked up some items ... *Pad Thai Noodles -rice noodles topped with peanuts and cilantro! added shrimp *Crispy Garlic Shrimp -shrimp battered and deep fried.It is tossed with freshly roasted onions, bell pepper, garlic and herbs. Served with jasmine rice *Cashew Chicken Our cashew chicken is made with fresh ground chicken thighs stir fried with a lot of fresh vegetables, cashews, shredded cabbage and steamed jasmine rice Dangggg... it was good!! Very happy with the choices!! Flavorful and tasty Thai food!! Come check them out!!! So far the best food in the South Maui Gardens!! read more
This food truck is located in a food truck yard with picnic tables tables for outdoor seating. There is a large parking lot across the street I tried both the Drunken Noodles and chicken Pad Thai. My favorite was the Pad Thai. It took about 10 minutes for them to prepare the food. If you are looking for some quality Thai food then I highly recommend this place read more
IMHO While walking through South Maui Gardens, we came upon food truck heaven! There must be about 10 food trucks situated there with many delicious optons to choose from. We had eaten at Thai Mee Up years before at their airport food trucks location and remembered the epic food. As we checked out the other food truck offerings, it certainly didn't hurt that Thai Mee Up was screaming "free samples!!!" with an extended arm out of the window with their Lemongrass Chicken! Yep, that made my choice easy! My husband and I shared the crispy, flavorful chicken dish. The portion size was enough to feed us both! It's a great go-to dish, but next time I want to try many of their other offerings as well. While we were eating, we noticed roaming chickens dining on some spilled lemongrass chicken, and they were scarfing it down! I joked that they were carnivores eating themselves! LOL read more
