If your looking for a relaxing spot to watch the match. Do it here. Malt, fish & chips, Sheppards Pie. They have all the classics. The ambiance is amazing. Thankfully there is always insight from very lovely, helpful people.

Met a friend last minute last week at this pub. I've been there a few times before and I'm glad she reminded me that it wasn't too far from either of us. It has a very laid back, cool vibe. We sat at the bar and had a nice time catching up. The bartender made us some nice dry gin martini's with a twist and I ordered the fish & chips which were tasty! Definitely need to remember this bar as a good place to meet up for a casual get together.

If you love British cuisine and Fish and Chips, you have gotta come over and give Nosh & Bevvy a try. Their fish and chips were amazing- 3 HUGE pieces of fried fish in crunchy batter, served with crispy waffle fries. I ordered a side order of curry that went perfect with my fish and chips. Bubble and Squeak with a Banger was pretty good; the Shepherd's Pie was not bad. Foods were incredibly filling, the draft beer was good, and service was excellent. Love this place!

This place was exactly what I was in the mood for- fish and chips, beer, and a pool table. Feels like a Texas-sized pub. The atmosphere did not feel authentic as it was too big, but maybe it's needed for weekends or events. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Pool is 50 cents per game. The fish and chips were delivered hot, fresh, and tasty. The tap beer was cold and refreshing. All in all, an enjoyable evening.

The menu as of Nov. 11, 2024. They still have Bubble & Squeak, even though it's not on there.

Nosh and Bevvy have excellent fish and chips! Fairly thick cuts of cod and not too heavily breaded. The waffle chips are excellent, they seem to be from freshly cut potatoes. Great English pub atmosphere too. The staff is always friendly, though they can be pretty busy at times.

Special salad with strawberries and balsamic vinagrette, a mist excellent salad.

4 stars for the good and drink and one extra star for Gilbert and Charlie the bartenders. One of the things we look for in a watering hole is bartenders who are engaging and friendly. Charlie and Gilbert had both of those qualities and we really appreciate it feeling is welcomed as we did for our first visit. The bar looks like a traditional English pub, of course they have smithwick's beer and Guinness, but they also host several local and regional beers as well. The food menu was pretty varied and had lots of choices. We did start with queso and chips which were okay but I have a pretty high standard for that so they weren't quite up to what I like in the way of Mexican queso and chips. We were able to sit at the bar so enjoyed being close to the action and noticed that there appeared to be a lot of locals there. Good reason, this place looks like a place you'd want to go if you lived in the area. Plus, the prices for the beers were all extremely reasonable, most were $6 and $5 and a couple of $7 beers. These days is hard to find beers under $7 anywhere. We left impressed in full and vowed that we would put this on our regular craft beer rotation list.

Friendly neighborhood joint with delish food. I like the masala medium, and definitely add the veg for a buck fifty. Awesome wings but beware, the dude next to me ordered the spicy and is in a full on flop sweat. I'm kinda jealous, actually.

Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.
