Fun place to visit. Solid beers all around. Open format with lots of tables. Great little outdoor patio. Plenty of parking. Barkeep was really friendly. Food was excellent. This place should be on your list to visit.

Great service and nice beers! Great little find on our trip to Oceanside. No food but food truck was supposed to come later. Anyway provided great recommendations for food at other places.

Sunday afternoon around 2pm was pretty quiet here. Nice patio and plenty of space to hang out with friends. Sunny Vibes is a Mexican lager at 5.1% that was very light tasting. I would have like some lime but that's just a preference. Saized & Confused is a farmhouse saison at 7.2% was a very nice Belgian. There was food available but we didn't eat anything. Definitely will try The Lodge eatery that is right inside when you walk in. Overall pretty good tap list. Amy was serving beer and was very nice to us. We will be back again!

This is a great spot in Oceanside. Easy parking, Tesla Supercharger nearby, great outdoor space for you and your pup. The beer is tasty and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Food from The Lodge available. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Found this brewery tucked in Oceanside on our way to san diego and didnt disappoint. Good craft beer. Friendly staff. Nice beer break.

Huge tasting room. They also have outside seating.

Big, airy, spacious taproom with seating inside and out. They share space with That Boy Good so come thirsty and hungry. You're a fool if you don't get some BBQ while you're here. I very much appreciated how they offer many different styles of beer. In other words, they have a couple of IPAs but not 20 of them. That's a really good thing. I ordered a 5 taster flight with two gose/sours, an IPA, a Belgian ale, and a porter. The Belgian ale was boozy and outstanding. The porter had a nice coffee flavor and the other beers were good. The music was a tad loud and a tad grungy but not too bothersome. They're dog and kid friendly and the barkeep was very attentive. Plenty of free parking in the lot. I would happily return. Good stuff!

We really enjoyed our experience at Northern Pine. The Beers were SO good and some of the best we have had so far in the SD are. We were really impressed. The bartender was really friendly helping us get a flight of beers. The place was really clean and modern. The outside sitting area was also very nice. We would come back to this place, it was really great!

Super rad brewery conveniently located in Oceanside! We love bringing our dog here for some weekend sun, fun, and beers! Can't wait to come back and check out some of the food menu. Great beer selection, super chill patio and interior.

Really cool vibe. Attentive staff. Combined with TBG BBQ. Excellent beers. Ordered a flight, the Saison was my favorite. Really enjoyed their atmosphere and woodsy feel. Reminded me of being back in the mountains. Nice little getaway in Oside.

Epic food, beers were delicious, and the prices are super fair. I'll definite be coming back for more fried chicken and another burger. can't wait to try the poutine too!

Stopped by this cool micro brewery on a recent trip and the craft brews did not disappoint. Great quality over quantity here. Limited addition runs of small batch brews that you can not only taste but see the difference. Spent a few hours sitting at the bar with the assistant brewer as my tap tender and not only were his suggestions spot on it was obvious at least to me that his passion for brewing high quality handcrafted beer was a second nature for him. I appreciated not only his input but also his commitment to his craft. It was apparent to me that the attention to the details and the understanding of true crafted brewing is was a part of the driving force to this establishment. The small ever changing board of offerings overhead was an impressive range of profiles and abv contents that should and would please most consumers palettes. I tries everything from the Pilsner to the Stout on the board that day and each was a great representation of its specific genre of brew, each was delicious and of very fine quality. Glad to have found this cool brewery on my trip through and plan to visit them again whenever I am in the area. 4.5 Stars - rounded up for the true micro brewery approach and knowledge of the brewer 00648

3.5 for the brews. The place is huge and I love the fact that it shares a space with TBG. We initially got tasters and felt all were just okay. Some of the beers were flat/stale, needed more carbonation. Only one beer stood out to us and we got pints of it- get your gloves. They told us it was a new keg, so it was very fresh tasting and had good flavors. We'll definitely be back since TBG is here, a good place to grab food and some brews.

Shared space with That Boy Good- no vegan friendly options

Ask the Community - Northern Pine Brewing

They have wifi?

Yes!

Are non-alcoholic drinks served here? Possibly by That Boy Good? I heard there is party here following Pride by the Beach 2019...but I don't drink! I would go if Coke, Sprite, Pepsi, etc., are served! :-)

TBG has a variety of soft drinks available.

The location is great and of course, all the different areas to drink beer in here whether it be inside, the outside balcony or garden area. they're all very nice. We ordered a pizza and some beers which hit the spot. They don't give you any coasters for any of your drinks and there's no air-conditioning so when it's hot out, your beers are definitely sweating all over the counter and then when you pick them up they're dripping all over you. I asked for coasters and they don't have any so just bring your own. The staff is super friendly and our beertender's Aric and Nikki were so awesome. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Bottlecraft has several locations, but we have both agreed that the Oceanside location is our favorite. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop and tasting room - This means that you can taste a variety of beers, which taps continuously rotating - then pick up cans of your faves.. or try brand new cans to bring home. We love to grab a spot at the bar {typically to watch whatever sporting event is on TV}, or on the back outdoor patio space if we come with a group. When seated at the bar area, you can also chat with the amazing beertenders and ask for their recommendations if you're unsure what to try {I will always recommend a good Hazy or Double IPA}. The team here is always on point - Providing fantastic service as well as friendly conversation while you enjoy your brews! Not a beer drinker?! Hard Kombucha, Cider, Wine and Non-Alcoholic options are available - There is something for everyone! While enjoying your brews, if hunger hits, visit Shootz Fish & Beer - This is a stellar food spot tucked in the corner as you enter the shop. Do not skip out on the Potato Taco! It's the perfect pairing with a good beer - You will thank me later for introducing this combo into your life! ;-) Along with phenomenal beer, Bottlecraft is pet friendly and just a hop skip and jump to the beach - What's not to love here?! With so many places to imbibe in Oceanside, I realize how competitive these places have to be to…read morestay in business so I have to admit, my standards are fairly high. My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.
