So if you haven't heard of the delivery North Fork has been doing with Sail Away coffee then you are missing out! 6 donuts + 6 cans of Sail Away cold brew delivered right to your door...do I have to even say anymore? Support local business and treat yourself to some donuts! Their jelly one was hands down my favorite but at the same time I loved all of the other donuts in the box. If you haven't tried their donuts yet, you need to! Last time I checked, they're open for donut pick ups - now that the weather is getting warm I might head over because apparently 6 donuts isn't enough for me. Thank you North Fork for creating this amazing service and making quarantine mornings a little brighter! read more

First time we got to try North Fork Doughnut Co.'s was from their collaboration with Sail Away Coffee, another local favorite, during quarantine of Covid-19. Sail Away and North Fork has a bundle delivery deal where you can have Sail Away's canned nitro coffee and North Fork's delicious doughnuts delivered right to your door. What is great is that they had expanded their delivery coverage area to all of Long Island and most of the NYC boroughs for this deal. I sent some to my cousin for his birthday and he devoured all six in less than a day. The deal can be found on Sail Away's website to order for Friday or Saturday delivery. It's best to place your order earlier in the week to ensure you will get the offer. Eventually we did make it out to shop which has social distancing guidelines for their customers to line up 6 feet apart due to covid-19. The staff was very friendly at the window and handed us our box of doughnuts out the front door. Their doughnuts are probably some of the best I've had. They are super fluffy, soft and fresh. They have standard classics and specialty doughnuts available all year around and they also have select flavors that rotate during the season. My favorites are the samoa and cinnamon caramel coffee cake ones. If you are out in eastern LI, the shop is worth a visit. It's also conveniently located around the corner of Love Lane where there are a lot of great other local businesses to visit. read more

I've been to both North Fork Doughnut locations although I was only able to try their jelly donut in Mattituck as they were sold out of almost all donuts by mid-afternoon both times I went. It was tasty although a bit on the pricey side. I would recommend for a business that says it is open until 5:pm that has 'doughnut' in its name that they should probably have more than 1 or 2 varieties of donuts available 3 hours before it closes. I get if it's 30-60 minutes before but it's a poor customer experience to walk in 3 hours prior and find one variety of donut. I would suggest 2 things if it were possible: 1) have a way to somewhat real time update customers as to what is available and 2) allow for online ordering of smaller amounts of donuts (the last time I looked you could only pre-order a larger amount). read more

Awesome donut shop! The line moved very fast even though they were only able to serve one person at a time given social distancing rules. I'm definitely going to head back when a little normalcy returns to try sit inside and try some coffee with my doughnuts and relax. I ordered a variety and they were all phenomenal. So fluffy and soft not dry at all. Delicious and decadent. Some of the best doughnuts I've ever had! We took the dog with us for a little drive, get him out of the house and run on the beach a little. The staff was so friendly they even had treats for the little guy! I recommend getting here early because once the doughnuts sell out for the day they're gone. There were a couple flavors I wouldve liked to try but by the time I got out there we missed them. The people right ahead of us got the last cinnamon sugar . Overall great experience and looking forward to try them again. read more

This photo does not do these doughnuts justice. Soooooo good. They are huge so my husband and I got three and we're going to split them, but once you try them there's no way you don't finish it. People behind the counter were very nice and helpful. We will definitely return! read more

I tried these donuts, after coming from across the street at Eastern Front Brewery Company. After a bunch of beers, we got hungry, and donuts looked like they would hit the spot. We ordered a mix of 6 different donuts, and got a knife to cut them in half, so everyone could try a few of them. These donuts were delicious. They were very big and filled nicely (the ones with fillings that we got). I really enjoyed the nutella filled one. That was my favorite. The Boston creme, Jelly filled, and classic glazed were also really good. Our group finished up these 6 donuts so quickly lol. That's a good sign of how good they were. There were so many donut choices this place offered, that I will definitely be coming back to try some more ;) read more

Can't believe cold doughnuts could be so soft and tasty. The doughnuts are huge and there are a number of varieties. Can't go wrong with anything. They come in separate boxes and chilled but that does not take away freshness or taste as would normally taste in a warm doughnut. read more

Incredibly quaint downtown and amazing donuts. We mixed up a few classics with new styles (the Samoa is literally a giant Samoa). Will absolutely be back the next time I need a sugar rush. Solid cold brew and super friendly staff as well. read more

Nice doughnut place in North Fork Island. My friend found this place online. Luckily this place was on the way to some of wineries we were going to. The doughnuts are delicious and huge. I tried the glazed and the coffee cake doughnut. They were great with our wine tasting. The prices average I paid $7.50 for 2 doughnuts. read more

This is hands down the best Donuts I have ever had. I'm from NJ we summer every year in the Hamptons. It's a must that I stop and pick up a box of donuts every time driving to and from. They blow away every other donut shop I have tried and I have tried lot lol. Including the big names Dunkin' Doughnuts and Crispy Cream can't even compare. Their employees are so nice and welcoming and there have really good ice coffee as well. The whole area is great if you never been to love lane it's a must. Especially for the best Doughnuts in NJ and NY. read more

We came in literally at the end of the day in October, on a Monday, with our three little girls in tow. We had never been before, but the shop looked cute & inviting. Despite it being close to closing, the woman working behind the counter was friendly & welcoming. She explained they only had Jelly Donuts left. We said ok and got two. Y'all, the donuts are yuge. And Doughy. And *delicious*. The jelly was bursting with flavor. If you like huge donuts that are slightly doughy (I really do), and full of flavor, this is your donut shop. I was pleasantly surprised and am already planning my trip back. Can honestly say one of the top 3 Donut shops I've been to. Thank you NoFo Do Co.! read more

Even if you are not a donut fan, you must go here! The donuts are amazing. My family has stopped here many many times, so we've had the great pleasure to try many different donuts. My favorite is the caramel coffee cake. It tastes exactly the way it sounds. It's huge, cake like and utterly delicious. We've also tried s'mores, pb and j, cinnamon sugar, jelly, lemon filled, bacon and apple fritter. I give all thumbs up and can't wait for them to open in bay shore. I would definitely recommend this delicious place. read more

Excellent donuts!!!! When the craving hits and you need something sweet and delicious this is the spot. I really like how their donuts aren't overly sweet and they still are able to keep it simple. Keep up the good work! Also, the shop itself is SUPER cute, and they have delicious coffee! Win win! read more

2 strikes and your out! They're over hyped, over priced and under expectations. Was there Saturday and they had a very limited selection with no filled donuts of any kind. The chocolate donuts was OK but sits in your stomach like a lead weight. The apple cider donuts was 3rd rate. Almost every other seller out East is far better. Save your time & $$$$ read more

Took a trip from Fairfield County, CT via the Bridgeport-Port Jeff Ferry and drove all the way up to Mattituck after hearing some good things about this spot. 100% worth the trip. Not only were the donuts fantastic, but the young lady working the counter was so personable and helpful- she even provided us with some vineyard/winery recommendations. I had seen this place on the internet for a while and knew that I needed to give it a go the next time I was out east. So when the wife and I were waiting for our table for breakfast around the corner on Love Lane, we took the quick walk over here to see if they were as delicious as Instagram makes them look. They were good, damn good. I prefer yeast over cake and these are probably my favorite yeast doughnuts I have ever had. If they sold them plain with no toppings, I could still see myself buying these when in the area. Now the toppings - we had a nice little selection. Fruity Pebbles, Samoa, Caramel Coffee Cake, Oreo, Chocolate Potato Chip. All of these were good but the unanimous stand out favorite was the Caramel Coffee Cake. It had the perfect balance of the sweetness that was not over bearing. They were all out of the Maple Bacon at the time but they brought out a fresh batch of Chocolate Potato Chip when we were at the counter - so we jumped on it. It was interesting but good. We ate it a couple hours after we bought it and it probably would have been better right away as the chips got a little stale and soggy (that is just a pro-tip from me to you). Yes they are expensive (I think it was about $25 for 6) but if you want a cheap doughnut, you will get what you pay for. I couldn't see myself buying a dozen of these regularly, but for the occasional stop and the high quality, I don't think that the price is too terrible. read more

I'm a local and honestly I love this place it may be a bit pricey but Allthough the donuts are a flavor party! There can be a little bit of a line sometimes but the workers are very kind the only complaint is that they can be out of donuts very quickly other than that this place has got to be a must! read more

I have to explain the weirdness first before the donuts. I went in with a friend of mine on our way to some foodie event on the north fork. I ordered my doughnut. Plain, classic donut - because before I go in for the fancy pants doughnuts I need to taste a straight up doughnut. Waitress (counter lady?) then asks my friend what she wants, and proceeds to put them in the same bag. I tell her wait ... I need my own bag. OK. Saving on bags? IDK Then we check out she rings us together. I turn to my friend and ask her to be my sugar momma, to which she says "No, pay for your own overly priced doughnut." I say to her "Lets wait to taste them to judge if they are overly priced." Counter lady rolls her eyes, and signs. She proceeds to void order and then ring me up for a different ... frigging... more expensive ... doughnut. She was all attitude and I didn't want to correct her again so I paid the extra. Having said all of this, the doughnuts are outstanding. So this review would have been all about how amazing doughnuts are here.. if it were not for the 12 year old looking attitude gurl at the counter. I will be back to try other fancy flavors. read more

Their donuts are great but they get docked a star for the plastic containers. I get that the ones with fancy toppings they want to pack safely but before I could say anything the guy puts my plain chocolate cake donut in a plastic takeout container. What can I say about NoFoDo Co that's hasn't been said already? We've been ordering doughnuts from them since the beginning. My fiancé works in the area so he would constantly bring me back one or two doughnuts to try. Never have I been disappointed in their light and fluffy yeast doughnuts. The only con of NoFoDo Co are some their their flavors never truly hit the bullseye. Their blueberry crumb cake doughnut is amazing. Fluffy texture not over powering in frosting but misses a strong blueberry flavor. Sometimes things that have a drizzle as the only other flavor component are missed and hidden by all those extras. This doesn't stop me from giving a 5 star review because no matter what time of day we have gone we have only received consistently delicious doughnuts. Even with the craziness the world is experiencing they have definitely gone above and beyond. Their quarantine kits help keep some amazing local business thriving and I'm happy to see so many people love them as much as me. read more

Great selection of donuts but sooo expensive! It was $38+ for a dozen donuts. Yikes! They had great flavors and overall were pretty tasty but deff not worth the money. My favorite was the classic chocolate with sprinkles - but would just get two Dunkin' Donuts for the same price. My least favorite was the vanilla sprinkles and glazed donuts - not as good. read more

Too much dough! Pardon pun but these donuts are way too expensive! I get that they are large (too large imho) but a dozen donuts was upwards of 40 bucks. Donuts are my favorite dessert, I eat them frequently and am very critical. To me, these were near perfect. It was Memorial Day Weekend (10:30 AM) I was praying it wouldn't be a zoo. It wasn't, thank goodness. There is a little parking lot, some seats, & a restroom inside. Exciting & colorful options, friendly staff, went for three donuts. I ranked them: +Strawberry lemonade - I'm a *super* fan of this. The yeast donut itself was so soft and fresh, it was coated with strawberry sugar, and inside was the most wonderfully flavored whipped cream styling filling - just the right ratio and a heavenly texture. To me, this was a 5/5, but I have to admit my husband did not enjoy it as much as I did (or at all) and prefers a cream cheese filling. +Glaze - another 5/5 for me, just a top notch donut. Clearly made that morning, so utterly fresh, light, airy, and the right amount/sweetness of glaze. +Fritter - not my favorite of this variation ever, this is where we lost the star. I liked the spice in this fritter, but the texture could use a bit of work to meld to my preference. Also - a little water station would be super appreciated! read more

We stopped here yesterday because we like to support local small businesses and wanted a sweet treat. I ordered one sugar coated and one glazed donut and after handing the young woman $10 and receiving $1 in change, I was shocked! OK, I thought they had to be extraordinary. NOT! Both were so dry and greasy tasting that after taking one bite we threw them in the garbage. Dunkin' has better and fresher donuts for a third of the price. Single star is for the logo design. read more

I am not a donut person and I adore this place! You must come out to Mattituck and try this. A true experience. Very easy to spot in traffic. Right on Main Road. Parking is difficult, but it can be commonplace in the area. We waited for parking and a courteous patron allowed us to take their parking space, while he waited for someone to exit the shop. Very nice atmosphere. Open, clean, and lots of wood escutcheons/accents. Cute displays. The employees are very nice and will accomodate you in any way. Fast and efficient service. The donuts are the piece de resistance! Absolutely amazing. Golden Grahams donuts! Smores donuts and everything in between! I'm not sure exactly how they do it, but the donuts are super light and fluffy. An absolute delicacy to the palate. So flavorful. An overall excellent experience. We will definitely be back!
