Apple Fritter

I drive over fifty miles to visit Hallock's Cider Mill and it's absolutely worth the trip every time. Everything is really tasty - we always pick up a big jug of apple cider and try the other unique flavors of cider they have to offer (peach and cherry are particularly excellent). The folks working here are really friendly - overall the ambiance is warm and the store smells like the sweet like the pies and other products baked there. I highly recommend Hallock's for anyone looking for farm fresh goodness on the east end.

We were looking for a hard cider spot and stumbled onto this place instead. It was such a great find! Cute farmstead with a ton of housemade goodies like pickled veggies, eggs, jams and preserves as well as fresh produce and of course unspiked sweet apple cider. We also usually go to another very well known farmstead spot for pies, but after trying a variety of their press this weekend, I'll be coming here for them! Took home 7 small pies to taste test and usually you'll have a mix bag of hits and misses, however, each were phenomenal, like nobody had anything bad to say about ANY of them. Cheesecake was creamy, the fruit crumbles were made with fresh fruit and were sweet tart just enough, the peanut butter pie packed a heap of peanut flavor but was so so light, the sinful pie was aptly named :a light cheesecake mousse topped with coconut flakes, crunchy sweet pecans and chocolate... It really was sinfully delicious. Their Key lime pie was definitely some of the best I've tasted outside of FL and I'm a straight rhubarb only pie fan but their strawberry rhubarb pie won me and my fellow taste testers over. Planning to go back every weekend here on out just for these pies

I fell in love with this place! It is a super cute farm stand. And they have so much stuff to choose from. And reasonably priced. First off the blueberry crumb cake is delicious! The small ones are only $8. They are so so good! They have local honey, home pickles, pickled garlic! They have key lime pies to banana bread. They have jam! Everything is homemade! They do sell flowers and fruit/vegetables. It is a cute little place to stop for some treats!

One of our new favorite places to stop out in the area! They have such a good fresh-baked bread and desserts! They have nice produce as well, and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend the apple cider donuts and apple turnovers! Definitely pop by here to support a quaint, local business!

Wow, I passed this place so many times and never stopped in. What a mistake! I think it was the sign award winning clam chowder, always reminds me of the movie ELF, World's Greatest Coffee, and his date responds it's just another crappy cup of coffee. Well that's not the case here. The clam chowder is one of the best I've ever had. Creamy with generous chunks of clams and potatoes. I was determined to get an apple pie and the pies are outstanding. I ended up getting the apple crumb. Big chunks of crumbs. I could just eat the pie crust and crumbs, it was that good. It was difficult leaving the store, it smelled so good and everything look good, I just wanted to try everything. I did pick up banana bread and a couple of cider donuts. The cider donuts were the best I ever had. Make sure you park in the back parking lot. There is a tree trunk decorated with wood elf's and houses, sort of like the keebler cookie guys. This is a must stop for me from now on.

I brought my niece and nephew, and we easily had one of the funnest afternoons! The Barnyard Adventure is a paid area ($28.95 per person on weekends), but with eight acres packed full of things to do, it's worth every penny. To put the size in perspective ... it's like exploring six football fields lined up together! The highlights for the kids included getting up close with a variety of farm animals, a trike track, sports zone, and multiple playgrounds, pig races, a musical hayride ... there truly is something for all ages. The atmosphere is lively, especially with those pig races and musical hayride tours. My niece and nephew were totally engaged from start to finish. There are plenty of food stands throughout the property with the classic farm favorites. Apple cider donuts (my personal fav), popcorn, ice cream, and coffee stands for the grown-ups. Speaking of adults, a huge bonus is the vineyard right on the property. I treated myself to a glass of rosé to enjoy while the kids played, which was a nice addition. It does get busy, but the whole setup is well organized that it does not feel too crowded. Barnyard Adventure is one of those rare places that charms both kids and adults, making it a perfect fall or weekend family destination. I can't wait to come back next year for more memories (and donuts) with my niece and nephew!!

With access to leave and come back, which we loved, we enjoyed hayrides WITH a singalong! Animals, a lot of games, bounce pad and more. Everything was super clean and exactly what you think a farm should be hahahh. The workers were all sweet and kind. We did enjoy a cup of there chocolate chip cookie. Very good. You can bring in picnic food if you wish, but they had hot dogs and basics to purchase as well as a small farm stand in the front. I would highly recommend for families with children of various ages but more geared toward 10 and under. Cant wait to go back again this summer.

After driving over an hour to get there, Julie was a no show. The only employee in the shop was a very sweet young woman named Lexie, who had no idea about the appointment or why Julie wasn't there for it. After trying unsuccessfully to reach Julie on the phone, Lexie sat down with me to take the meeting, and spent close to half an hour talking to me and having me fill out a questionnaire about all the wedding details. I was told by her that she would pass all the information along to Julie, and that they would have a proposal for me within the week. They had all the information necessary to contact me - cell number and email address. That was over two weeks ago and they never bothered to get back to me. Due to their extremely poor customer service, I would never hire them as they have shown their indifference, lack of appreciation and complete disregard for a potential customer. We obviously hired another floral designer for the wedding.
