The Quick: The apple cider donuts are life changing. Beautiful apple orchard our back which they leverage for apple picking, cider, and donuts. They also sell snacks and wine to enjoy on their outside patio. Locally owned and run, enjoy!

    Yum

I stopped here to buy flowers for my girlfriend and the women there were unbelievably nice and helpful. They made a beautiful boquet at a great price and I will definitely be back here again. ...and don't forget to buy their cider donuts.

We were in our way back from Orient Point and we wanted to get coffee for the ride home. All of a sudden I see this roadside place. I've been down this road hundreds of times but this is the first time I've noticed it. Cute little store boating hot apple cider and cider donuts. They even seem to carry some groceries just in case you need anything. So we go for the hot cider and 2 fresh made cider donuts. Get this, two drinks and two donuts $4, that's right $4. I walked out starring at the receipt in disbelief. I even went back in to double check. Nope just $4. How can you pass this deal up. Now that I know where they are I'll be back when I'm the area. Hope to see you there. Oh yes 4 Stars? 48 degrees in the store and no heaters. You'll have to do something about that.

Who says the North Fork is the quiet fork? Breeze Hill farm makes fresh apple cider, always has fresh cider donuts going into the fryer... you can smell cinnamon when you walk in the door. Once you try you never pass by. Even if just to go in and get some apples whatever.. but mostly take home some cider for someone .. The people here are cool... they have a farm dog out back that is sweet also.

We saw the sign for "cider donuts" and knew we had to stop - and we stayed to browse their ripping fresh vegetables, fruits, pies and jams. It's also a very charming farm stand and nice people to boot. We walked out with a dozen fresh-from-the-field plum tomatoes (still warm from the sun!) for our marinara sauce and a half-dozen cider donuts for dessert (of course, we tried a few on the drive home ... Oh, how were they? Pretty good, moist, and generously sprinkled with cinnamon sugar).

Good selection of veggies but they specialize in apples and apple related products like cider and cider donuts made in house. In the fall they serve free samples of hot cider.

Probably the best apple cider donuts on the north fork - as well as lots of Italian pantry items and home made sauces. Love!

But, alas, when the weather turned a bit cooler the big "cider and donuts" signs finally hit all the right triggers.

What a lovely place…read more You drive up, and feel the instant love and dedication that goes into the food being grown here. We stopped last weekend for tomatoes and potatos and greens, and everything was fresh and grown so solidly. It was a MUST stop!

On the way back from Orient State Park, we saw signs for a biodynamic farm and gourmet CSA -- we both thought, what is a gourmet CSA? We parked our bikes and sauntered off to the food barn to get some fresh food for our post-ride healthy meal. On our way we were welcomed by the owner (Ira) who guided us into the barn to check out the farm's wares. We picked out some beautiful looking kale, spring scallions, blackberry jam, and pickled peppers, and were happy with our healthy purchase...but there was so much more to this farm, and we could feel it. Ira offered to show us around the property, parts of which date back to 1680 or so. We saw barn swallows for the first time, and tasted arugula flowers, too. The plots of vegetables were beautifully laid out, the greenhouses full of lettuces, and Ira also mentioned there were bees. The farm was created by Ira and his late wife, KK, an architect and builder (team), respectively. The biodynamic philosophy was the inspiration of KK, who simply wanted to provide her family and friends with healthy, nutritious food. And the gourmet CSA was no real mystery. Customers get to choose what they want each week...pretty novel. If you are into real food, visit the farm; if you are into seeing people who are doing real work, visit the farm. You will be inspired by this labor of love, created by two people who shared a vision, and shared the beauty and fruits of their vision with all of us. Oh yeah, you will want to buy stuff, so make sure you have some cash on you as there are no easy access ATMs!
