Excellent goat cheese products (minus the yogurt which was too earthy w a gritty texture). The whipped goat cheese w black pepper & lemon was superb. The grounds are purposefully natural yet w a smattering of sunflowers, phlox,& purple sage. Pet the goats. Step over chickens. Tour the farm. The little shop is more than quaint and can be awkwardly crowded. The price point is certainly high however, supporting this farm in exchange of savoring their awesome fresh products is well worth it!

If you are feeling down visit Catapano and their silly cute goats and you will leave with a smile. Always fun watching them in their playground and field, just like a bunch of kids, get it kids. Best of all there is no charge to view the goats and if you come at the right time you could watch them milk the happy goats for the goat cheese and other goat related products that they make and sell in the small shop. You could find their cheese all over the North Fork including many of the best restaurants. The owner Dr. Catapano even treated me for Lyme disease, only in the North Fork! No he's not a vet but has an office in Cutchogue for humans.

Catapano Dairy Farm was a cute and different tourist stop along the Long Island Wineries: a nice break from drinking wine all day. Visitors can view the goat milking process, pet goats, and purchase goat artisan cheeses and goat milk beauty products. I wish Catapano offered informational speaking tours about the farm, science of goat milking process and the benefits: even if you can research this online, hearing about it on-location goes a long way to increase visitor interest and the chances of us buying more products.

Habernero mango cheese and honey goat cheese- so yummy!

Loved it! My friend reccomended I stop there on my way to greenport with the kids. I live on the east end and theres always new little gems to explore. This one was great! I had both my kids with me (8 months and 4 years) the owner couldn't have been nicer! She even gave me a reccomendation for a great little beach down the rd- she was very helpful!!! I bought two cheeses that I am finally trying right now- habernero goat and honey goat- both incredibly delicious and dense. (Don't be fooled by the little containers- it goes a long way!) The most special part of the experience was playing with the goats. The owner let us hang with them for a while. There was one or two other people there- the goats are so sweet and friendly and we could have spent all day! It was an experience!!!

Such a lovely experience! We enjoyed walking around the farm and seeing the goats & the horses. Never seen an animal farm so clean! They clearly take great care of their animals. In the cheese shop, they have over 10 cheese samples to try. And their goat cheese is the best I've ever tasted!! We already came back a 2nd time to stock up!

The place is a small farm that has a bunch of goats and chickens that are adorable! You're allowed to touch them even though they aren't in a petting zoo. The goats are friendly and very entertaining to watch while you snack on the goat milk treats. The stand is a bit small but very lovely. The woman at the register is very sweet as well and she knows her goat products! We did try a plain goat milk yogurt and realized it wasn't for us. It was extremely tart and had a very strong goat milk flavor. We couldn't get over that and ended up having to just quit after a few spoonfuls. There was a cheese platter sampler out and some of the cheese also had that strong taste but the ones that didn't were tasty. I do think anything made with goat milk is an acquired taste so don't judge the quality based on my personal taste and inability to handle the strong goat milk flavor. It's worth a taste if you're there.

Ok I admit it ,I like goats .I think they're cute and funny and I like goat cheese and you can buy good goat and sheep cheese here. This is not a place where you feed the goats. You can also buy goat milk skin products. At 4:00 the goats get milked. There are also some other animals here but its mostly goats.Oh yes, and one goat was determined to chew on my pants.

What a lovely place…read more You drive up, and feel the instant love and dedication that goes into the food being grown here. We stopped last weekend for tomatoes and potatos and greens, and everything was fresh and grown so solidly. It was a MUST stop!

This past Sunday we did the Organ Donation ride on the North Fork. What a great celebration of my…read morefriend Andrea's successful double lung transplant 15 years ago. On the way back from Orient State Park, we saw signs for a biodynamic farm and gourmet CSA -- we both thought, what is a gourmet CSA? We parked our bikes and sauntered off to the food barn to get some fresh food for our post-ride healthy meal. On our way we were welcomed by the owner (Ira) who guided us into the barn to check out the farm's wares. We picked out some beautiful looking kale, spring scallions, blackberry jam, and pickled peppers, and were happy with our healthy purchase...but there was so much more to this farm, and we could feel it. Ira offered to show us around the property, parts of which date back to 1680 or so. We saw barn swallows for the first time, and tasted arugula flowers, too. The plots of vegetables were beautifully laid out, the greenhouses full of lettuces, and Ira also mentioned there were bees. The farm was created by Ira and his late wife, KK, an architect and builder (team), respectively. The biodynamic philosophy was the inspiration of KK, who simply wanted to provide her family and friends with healthy, nutritious food. And the gourmet CSA was no real mystery. Customers get to choose what they want each week...pretty novel. If you are into real food, visit the farm; if you are into seeing people who are doing real work, visit the farm. You will be inspired by this labor of love, created by two people who shared a vision, and shared the beauty and fruits of their vision with all of us. Oh yeah, you will want to buy stuff, so make sure you have some cash on you as there are no easy access ATMs!

The Perfect Day!…read more They had me at "making fresh donuts right in front of me." I mean, how could anyone walk past that? The apple cider donuts were warm, soft, and absolutely amazing--worth the trip alone! I'm so glad I was told about Breeze Hill Farm. It's the perfect place to spend a beautiful fall day with family. When you arrive, you can choose between a $20 or $50 bag, and they give you an apple picker stick so you can start your adventure through their stunning 30 acres of apple trees. The land and environment are absolutely beautiful--open skies and rows of apple trees that make the whole place feel peaceful and welcoming. The farm grows an incredible 26 varieties of apples, and you can truly taste the organic freshness in every bite. There's something so special about eating an apple you picked yourself--it's crisp, flavorful, and full of that farm-fresh sweetness you just can't find anywhere else. There's also a cozy fire pit area to relax by, a spot to grab drinks, and the market offers fresh eggs and tomatoes for sale, which was such a nice touch. It was the perfect fall outing, and everyone in the family loved it. We'll definitely be coming back to Breeze Hill Farm next season!

We also got apple cider slushes and a hot apple cider. The slushes were so delicious they are served with whipped cream and a donut on top! The property is beautiful, there is lots of space to sit. They even put on music for us to sit back and enjoy. They have a big fire pit too! We would definitely come back. Everyone that works there is super sweet and welcoming. They offer a wedding venue there as well which looked beautiful.
