My boyfriend and I immediately decided to get our after dinner dessert treat there. I got a Dubai Chocolate Donut and he, a plain donut with icing and sprinkles. I LOVED my donut. It wasn't very accurate to the dubai chocolate, but still tasted AMAZING. It wasn't too sweet, which for me made it perfect! My boyfriend said his donut was 8/10. "Good. It was fat. The best donut shop ever on Love Lane! It's so cute on the inside, but there is limited seating. It's best to try and get there early before the donuts sell out. For our first visit to the north fork, I knew I had to get these! Even at 1pm, there was still a decent selection. While these are "gourmet" donuts, I still feel they were overpriced. I go to the Massapequa Park location. The doughnuts are delicious and I highly recommend them. My issue is with the staff. It's very hit or miss on whether they are friendly. I've gone in and had some staff members who are lovely and I've had others who don't smile, don't welcome you, and when you say thank you they can't be bothered to say you're welcome. Having a summer house out east, I come to the east end of long island quite constantly. On my way home, I ALWAYS make sure to stop for donuts. With a great selection available daily including weekly specials, there are a lot of options for everyone. My personal favorite is the cereal killer donut. The donuts are a nice size and bigger than what you'd get at Dunkin' Donuts. The food is fresh and staff is always fast and nice. This place does get very busy and I recommend going early in the morning to buy your favorites before they sell out for the day. The place is a nice place that "recently" moved onto Love Lane. The hardest part is choosing which flavor to get. You will most likely end up ordering at least two for yourself! They are huge and great to share with people. Prices range from $4-5 per doughnut, but understandable since all of the doughnuts are made from scratch. My mom and I opted for the cinnamon sugar, funfetti cookie, Boston crème, and pumpkin spice doughnuts. The doughnuts were so soft to bite into and sweetened perfectly. Not too sweet and had the right amount of sugar. Tasted homemade and very fresh. You could distinguish the flavors between all of the doughnuts. I couldn't even choose a favorite one since they were all so delicious! Definitely will be back if I'm in the North Fork area again :) Highly recommend! Super small donut shop, right on Love lane. We walk in, we picked our donuts, they also sell clothes (interesting). So my boyfriend asked what type of coffee they had, it was weird - there was no menu, no sign of what they have, etc... The girl looked at him like he was asking stupid questions. No Fo Do Co is in SHAMBLES. as a local that has been going here since open, it is devastating to see what this once North Fork staple has become. This was my first time visiting since the fire and moving to the new location. Although yes, it is a bigger store, they have less donuts than before. Along with this, the quality has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. I visited with my girlfriend and I was embarrassed by the quality of these donuts. The nutella "filled" donuts literally was just a smudge of nutella on the outside. We discovered when we went to split the donut and immediately was shocked after dropping $5 on a essentially a roll with nutella on the outside. Not to mention the absoulte catfishing the instagram page is, the donuts look huge online a posted a video to try it where they rip it and half and it's FILLED with nutella, meanwhile in real life it is EMPTY. I know No Fo Do Co is a local business and I hate to do this to a local business, especially one I have recommended to so many people and been going to for years but something needs to change, the staff is mean, quality is down and prices are up. Heard these donuts are a must try. We were in the area so decided to come here in the late afternoon. It's a small place so be on the lookout for it. Limited parking lot (3 spots + 1 handicap spot). Arrived at the shop around 4PM and there were 5 flavors left (apple fritter, glazed, pumpkin cinnamon sugar, strawberry OG, and black raspberry jelly). The donuts are humongous at first glanced. It's 2 meals in 1! After 4PM, donuts are 1/2 off. 4 donuts for $8 for that size makes it worth it. The store closes at 5PM so good way to selling the remaining donuts. Tried the wedding italian and found it a bit too sweet for me. Nice that they have the fall flavors: pumpkin (which was too much dough for me) and apple fritter. I haven't ever been to the shop, but did get to try a selection of their doughnuts when I took part in the promotion they were running along with Sail Away nitro cold brew coffee. The deal was a dozen cans of coffee and a dozen doughnuts delivered directly to your door for $89 + tax. They also offered other packages too: 6 cans + 6 doughnuts for $55 + tax and 6 can + 12 doughnuts for $75 + tax. The offer was bought on the sail away website. There was no indication of exactly what time the delivery would arrive, but it was not a problem for me since I was working from home by the window anyway. Delivery was "contact-less". The box of doughnuts and box of coffee cans were placed on my doorstep. The delivery person stood back 6+ feet, greeted me and told me my delivery was there. All of the doughnuts were of the yeast type of doughnuts. In general they were fluffier and lighter compared to others that I've tried. Just the right amount of moisture too. My favorite out of the assortment was the caramel coffee cake. Coffee cake topping laid on top of the doughnut base and was topped with a drizzle of caramel. The sweetness and flavor was balanced just right. I'll be sure to check out their shop the next time I'm out in LI wine country. For now I will be getting them delivered to my door. read more

Been trying to get here for years. Finally had the chance to stop by on an early Sunday morning. I got there at 10:30 am and I waited barely 5 minutes on line. What a fun store! Beautiful decorations with plenty of merchandise to purchase. The staff is incredibly friendly & personable! They took their time with every customer answering questions and concerns. I bought 6 donuts intending to share with family. On the long ride home I wanted to try a tiny bite of one donut. That tiny bite turned into me pulling over to inhale the whole donut before I hit the expressway. This was the churro donut that was definitely the best donut I've ever had in my life. The flavors and freshness of the donut was something I've never had in my life. The next day my family & I tried the rest of the donuts. The coffee crumb donut was phenomenal! The cookies & cream was good, nothing spectacular. The cake part of the donut was great but the cookies & cream flavors were seriously lacking. The samoas donut could be great but the amount coconut on the donut was overwhelming. If it was maybe 50% less it would be perfect. The other donuts were good as well. All donuts are super sweet. The malted milk ball was great! The filling was good and abundant! Expect the sugar overload. Its a donut! I would def go back & try different donuts if available. A good local staple! read more

I am by no means a doughnut connoisseur but I have had my share of them across the US and consider myself a pretty good judge of them. I've enjoyed ones made with rice flour a la Blue star Donuts in Portland Oregon and others made with potato flour courtesy of Portland Maine's Holy Donut. Both are exquisite in their own way. When our friends who summer on the North Fork raved about this new joint, we knew we had to venture to Cutchogue to sample some. I chose the classic cinnamon sugar, and others opted for the basic vanilla original donut, the toasted almond and a fresh-out-of-the-oven glazed apple fritter. We split them so we could try all four. The toasted almond and cinnamon sugar were my favorites. The texture of the fritter was a bit dense for my taste. I didn't bother with the vanilla iced one since my taste in donuts is definitely not basic! The donut joint has the same daily 8 flavors each day and rotates three wildcard flavors which are posted on the website. This morning was almond joy, snickers and the apple fritter. They had a cereal killer which is coated in fruity peoples, a caramel coffee cake, a Boston cream, and a gorgeous jelly donut... What I liked about the donuts was the freshness and overall flavoring. They were not cloyingly sweet. But I thought the texture of the 3 I tried were overly "dough-y" almost to the point where I felt like I was eating a brioche roll.... super dense super bread-like. That said, these creations were beautiful, flavors were creative and they did taste quite good. I would come back for the Boston cream, the jelly donut and the caramel coffee cake one. The Maple Glaze is subtile, it's sweet and not all sticky maple. The bacon isn't a strip but crumbs so it gives the doughnut a salty-savory note. After one bite, I can tell that it's a well crafted doughnut. My doughnut cake comes out and I ask Kelly why she chose this area? She told me the community really is tight knit, they really welcomed her business. When the local folks come in for coffee and a doughnut, they're always happy to stop in a chat before heading out to work. North Fork Doughnut Co. is making some incredible doughnuts. They might seem expensive at first but I think the value is there. A donut shop is only as good as their glazed and the glazed is very good. I've had cereal donuts at other donut shops that turned out to be disappointing because they were stale from sitting out for too long. The cereal donut here was the best I've had because it was fresh and had a good crunch to it like cereal should. I like that they have a standard menu and a speciality menu of donuts so you can try something new every time you go. Examples: key lime pie, creamsicle, funfetti, cookie butter. Cons: the parking situation is frustrating. There's only about seven spots in front. If a spot isn't available then you either have to have someone run in or circle back later.
