    Specialty drink menu May '25

3.5 stars 4% credit card fee They may not be the best donuts I've had but I keep going back! Flavors don't seem to change too much. I had a strawberry jelly donut recently. The next day they had blueberry jelly instead. My favorite is what I've gotten in the past, passion fruit coconut (I think). I do enjoy their specialty coffee drinks, even if they these past two times they've been lacking in flavor. I had the cardamom mocha, which I think is new. Unfortunately there wasn't much cardamom flavor. Next I tried the maple latte. Two coffees and 2-3 donuts cost about $24.

Great coffee. Great service. Incredible donuts! I don't really like donuts but my kids wanted some. These were delicious. Lite fluffy. Really really good!

Grindstone Donuts in Sag Harbor, NY. Stopped by for a cappuccino, which was smooth and delicious. The donuts looked fantastic, but unfortunately, they were a bit of a letdown--dry and flaky. It's a small spot, definitely more of a grab-and-go atmosphere. The service was friendly though, which added to the overall experience.

I'm more a cake donut fan, but having tried a few of these, I can definitely say these are the best yeast donuts I've had in a long, long time. There's quite a variety of flavors. The staff are all nice as well. They can run out quickly, depending on how many they've made for the day and the demand. It was our third time stopping by there, but the first where we were actually able to get donuts. It's a testament to the quality of the donuts for sure.

Coffee is good but the doughnuts are outstanding. Grew up in PA Dutch Country (feels like the doughnut capital). Unfortunately, they're no longer made with any integrity- loaded with cheap & artificial ingredients. Had the Churro & Glazed. Possibly the lightest, cleanest, tasting doughnut to ever grace my lips. That isn't always a good thing, but in this case it was. Flavors & filings sang in the absence of the waxy aftertaste of heavy palm oil & cloyingly sweet artificial flavors. At $50-$60/dozen (don't care Hamptons still ridiculous) you won't enjoy more than a taste & a lot of pressure to make the right selection. This coupled with the awkward space with no seating & visibility of what's to order blocked by lines, means there's room for improvement before charging $5 a doughnut.

What a line! Is it worth it? I'd say yes if you have the time and stamina to find a parking spot. Located on the main road in Sag Harbor, its a popular spot for a quick coffee and quick donut as a snack. The donuts run quick, theyre also okay and not mind blowing. The coffees are totally worth it thought - they also spice them up different ways. Overall 8/10

After a few visits and trying a variety of donuts I'm upgrading to 5 stars and my favorite donut shop on the East End. Today we tried maple sea salt, strawberry jelly, nutella smores and a mini strawberry sprinkle frosted and all were excellent. The strawberry flavors actually tasted like strawberry. The full size donuts are enormous. You can easily share one. There are a few 'mini' sized donuts which I'd call 'normal' size though my 2 year old put away a mini with ease. Credit cards accepted.

The maple donut was the most flavorful donut I think I've ever had. It was so light & fluffy! The coconut passion fruit also was delicious! I had the peanut butter mocha iced coffee which was good but not the best. By far the star of the show here are the donuts.

As a former donut shop owner I find it very satisfying to try as many donuts as possible wherever I go. If I had more stomach left, I would have eaten at least 2-3 more then the chocolate sea salt version in the picture. The donut itself was light and airy with the typical yeast raised base. The frosting was a chocolate base with a dose of sea salt sprinkled atop. Being the Hampton's, I certainly did not expect the prices to be reasonable so the $4 price was totally okay in my book. I was hoping to get a bit more saltiness crunch, but it was later in the day so the salt kinda blended into the background. I was kinda hoping for some Maldon but couldn't recognize yeh crystals by the time I dug in. The shop itself was quaint and staff very nice. Can't wait to get back for a proper dozen!

Being that this was more of a destination trip for some preemo donuts , I had to find out if this was going to go toe to toe with my new standard in donuts ... SideCar ! I haven't travelled enough across the nation to find the ultimate donuts but I have to say, SideCar is the crème de la crème of clean ingredients, presentation, weight and the feeling afterwards. First off this was about an hour and change road-trip with one of my awesome friends and his lovely wife , and nothing but nostalgic moments discussed on our way to SaG Harbor. When we arrived , I just loved the vibe of the area, people were out, weather was amazing and sun was shining. It seems the hype was living up to its name because they ran out of alot of the flavors they had so as you can see in the pic, that's just about what they had left . The powdered jelly donut, the Boston crème and the other sugar donut I forgot what flavor, but man oh man these three with a latte were pretty amazing. The cafe was nice inside , but you just had to eat the donuts outside, and that we did. I have to revisit this spot again but never alone. I need to share this goodness with some other friends and spread the word. Now if grindstone can open another spot out in Nassau County, I'd be a happy camper . Til then , it's gonna be a road trip !

Great place for coffee and donuts. The churro vanilla cream donut is our favorite! The seasonal donuts are something we look forward to.

Topping Rose House, Bridgehampton: Culinary Highs and Service Lows…read moreRating: (Food: 9.5 | Service: 6) Topping Rose House remains a bit of a Bridgehampton enigma. As a spot we find ourselves returning to a couple of times a year, the kitchen continues to operate at a gold standard, even when the front-of-house seems to be stuck in a bit of a fog. The Food: A Seasonal Symphony If you are coming strictly for the palate, you will not be disappointed. The freshness of the ingredients is palpable: * Oysters: These were pristine--served icy cold and exceptionally fresh. The mignonette was the standout here; perfectly balanced and bright, it elevated the oysters rather than masking them. * Pea Soup: This was a revelation. It tasted as if the peas had been picked just yesterday; it was vibrant, "green," and utterly delightful. * Lobster Roll: While it was admittedly small in stature (especially for the price point), the execution was flawless. It was bright, crunchy, and avoided the heavy mayo-trap that many local spots fall into. The Service: A Comedy of Errors Unfortunately, the gap between the kitchen and the dining room was wide during this visit. While our waitress was personally lovely, the actual mechanics of the service were incredibly frustrated: * Timing Issues: We were offered bread at the start of the meal, yet it didn't grace the table until we were finished eating. * The Water Gap: Our sparkling water sat empty for far too long. Refills were offered, but like the bread, they arrived only after the meal had concluded. * Lack of Proactivity: There was no offer for drink refills throughout the courses. * Accountability: Most disappointing was the lack of acknowledgment. Mistakes happen, but a simple "I'm so sorry for the delay" goes a long way. Instead, the lapses were never addressed or accounted for. The Verdict: Topping Rose House serves some of the most phenomenal, fresh food in the Hamptons. However, when you're paying Bridgehampton prices, you expect the service to match the caliber of the kitchen. We'll likely be back because the pea soup and oysters are hard to quit, but we'll be crossing our fingers for a more attentive experience next time. mi
