I was with my mom and when we went up to order she had some questions about the menu, and ended up just ordering a regular coffee. I asked questions about one of their latte specials, which the person working answered, and then said I'd take one of those. He rung us up and it was only $8 which I guess should've been an indicator that he didn't clock that I had also ordered - but if you have two people at a coffee shop and one person asking about a latte don't you think they want one as well? We waited around 15 minutes or so and when I finally went back up he was surprised that I also wanted something. The coffee was fine but kind of overpriced which is par for the course here. But people on the internet love it so maybe I'm the one who's wrong.

The lack of the other 3 stars is for the service. The first few times we came in, we were barely greeted with a "hello" let alone a "good morning!" Usually, it's a flat "hi what can I get you." You are the first person someone encounters in the morning. Is a warm welcome and some sort of report that difficult? Our last 2 experiences were actually good, and I think our server's name was Kate maybe? I guess we accidentally tried to come in slightly early this morning. When we opened the unlocked door, we were greeted with "give us a minute." If this was my business, I would have said "hey guys good morning! Still finishing setting up, but feel free to come in out of the cold and look around!" That was the last straw for us, so we left. In reading previous reviews, this seems to be a reoccurring theme here and a shared sentiment. I've lived here my entire 31 years of life, and I don't like this cold city vibe they harbor in Springs. Kristi and Jenny at the Springs General Store would never act like this

I ordered an iced americano with coconut water which is such an inventive idea. Very delicious. My brother's latte was on the weak side, but since they're brand new they may just be working out the kinks.

We sat outside and the weather was perfect! Portions were huge and I got the avocado toast. Only two minor complaints: I wish the avocado toast had more of a spicy kick and was less lemony (still very good tho), and I wish the establishment served liquor a little earlier than 530pm.
