I was very excited with this event because it was a plus1 and in Montauk so I was able to bring Mrs. M. and expose her to the Yelp World. Upon arrival our Host Nadia greeted us and explained what was entailed with this event. They also had snacks for us to go with our drinks. Breakers itself, one of the many resorts in Montauk was small but inviting. There was a pool by the bar with seating and a small restaurant upstairs with an adequate menu. All the staff was polite, efficient and accommodating. The atmosphere of Breakers contributed to a very nice afternoon having the Long Drink and snacks and speaking with other gusts. Thank you to Breakers, Long Drink and Nadia who made sure we all had what we needed.

Not a large space but comfortable with separate pool, bar and patio areas. It would be nice if it was adult only, but kiddies are allowed too. I…read morewas lucky enough to stop in on their 3rd day after reopening - thanks to community donations, said the co-owner, their business was able to sustain the pandemic. I'm so glad it did! It's in an historic building and also offers free ukulele workshops by one of the co-founders of the café (which I didn't get to see, lol). His handcrafted banjolike instruments - made out of tin boxes, wood, and bent quarters - are also offered for fun and for sale. I think I saw an Altoids guitar for $50. The soup of the day (tomato basil) was really good, but the fresh-baked BREAD is what really got me! And I'm not usually a bread person. Keep in mind they close at 3. Very glad to have stopped by to support this unique local place.
