This is the location were they bake on location. If you drive thru the narrow street next to the building there is parking in the back. You could also peek into the industrial looking building to see the actual baking go on. A previous reviewer made an odd comment that it's ugly. Well you know its freshly made and the baking fairy didn't deliver the bread. This ain't Manhattan where nothing is made and everything is delivered to stores from who knows where. Staff is young and can be aloof but that may be a North fork thing. The Riverhead location has a more knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Very awkward parking with an ugly, rundown production around back, plus weak selection and an awful ginger cookie (which was at least just $0.64). It's difficult to find a good bakery on Long Island's north fork but this multi location spot in Greenport is one of them. Nice, cozy little bakery that stays open pretty late in the summer, until 8:00. They have a good selection of baked goods such as pastries, breads, cakes and cookies. They have coffee as well. Tried their signature blue duck cookie and it was very good and not too sweet. The eclair was very good as well and the mini cheese cakes are creamy and delicious. Prices are a bit excessive, $17 for a tiny banana cream pie and we paid over $25 for a couple cookies and mini pastries but the quality makes up for it. The staff was friendly as well. Nice place to come for dessert and recommend.

This is an amazing bakery! The cinnamon roll was the best I ever had. The bread is fresh with natural ingredients.

Best blueberry turnover I ever ate. Nice selection of cookies. We tried the oatmeal/cranberry and the ginger snaps.

Excellent food. The croissants are luscious - right from the oven if you get there early and I…read morehighly recommend the cheese danish as well. Honestly, everything is good! All fresh and wonderful. If you want to enjoy a dinner take out, grab the fried chicken. It's not your usual highly encrusted breaded chicken but very tasty and light at the same time. The store has various fresh vegetables and seasonal items, along with expensive Eiffel t shirts ($60) and cute straw beach bags to buy along with a bank of refrigerators and freezers filled with drinks- some alcoholic. Pre made frozen food is available, as well as items such as tuna salad. All are pricey (pint of tuna salad was $16) but excellent. Smaller frozen thin pizzas (about $20) ranging from cheese to artichoke topped are available also. Great for dinner with a salad. Coffee is available in the back and delicious breakfast sandwiches are available to order also. You can dine outdoors either at tables in front of the store, or in the back on a small deck overlooking the harbor. Often lovely Marie is there, chatting with diners. All in all a wonderful place, with great food. Be aware you will be paying absolute top dollar, but worth it.

I'm giving you three stars instead of the five you deserve. My main complaint? No bathrooms. The food is good but my veggie burger was salty, the buns were over baked. Impossible to eat. The French Onion soup was decent but I have certainly had better. After all of this, we have to go outside for a piss.
