I've gone to a couple of these before and it was awesome. This location was crazy busy. With that being said it was bad service. They took forever in our food and people that were coming after us were getting their food before we were. On top of that hash browns were not done at all but we still got the m on our plate. When we ask to for them to cook them more they shared them. Not pleasant at all. We ring go back to this location again. We like Norms so that's so sad. read more

Celebrated my Grandmas 80th bday today at her favorite restaurant. My family has been coming to Norms since the 80's of what I can remember, but I'm sure longer than that. We Had amazing service from the manager and from Kristina our waitress, who dealt with 16 of us. Food was great and my Grandma Loved it. All she wanted for her bday was a T- bone steak from Norms, Lol! and her steak did not disappoint. Thank you for making her bday dinner special. Told the wait would be fifteen minutes, ended up sitting nearly an hour before getting fed up, pissed off, and leaving still hungry. Sure, it was a busy weekend, but don't throw out meaningless numbers just to say something. Be straight about the wait and let customers decide if it's worth sticking around. Kristina is hands down one of the best servers we've had at Norms! My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years, and it's rare to find someone as sweet, attentive, and on point as she was. She didn't leave us waiting for a things, our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, and she checked on us regularly without being overbearing. It's clear she really cares about her guests. On top of that, she has a great sense of humor (total jokester!) and such a beautiful sense of style it made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The worst food I have had period! Norms is a 24 hour restaurant that has a nostalgic diner feel to it. I have dined here since I was a child. The quality is below descent currently. None of the food had flavor at all. I had to season it myself. The decor, cups, and silverware very old, worn out, and outdated. I had the Trio steak, chicken strips, and fried shrimp. It came with a salad and clam chowder. My clam chowder was sour. My rice pilaf was clumped together. I gave it one star because the prices were great for large portions of food. The juice and beverages were good. The waiter was as wonderful and provided great customer service. Perhaps the breakfast options may be better. I don't recommend visiting here at all unless it is the absolute last option! read more

The place was super busy when we walked in, so my group assumed that it was really good local spot. They were decently efficient when seating us and our waiter was super cool he was definitely on top of it. The food kinda sucked though two of our six plates were cold, three of them were missing for 15 minutes, and gave us two wrong orders. The kitchen honestly just wasn't looking at the orders or anything and it seemed it happens to a couple of other table too. The manager on shift at 11:45, 10-19-25 was sitting around doing nothing the entire time while his staff was working their butts off. The toilets were out of stock for toilet paper when we first arrived, we told the manager, 40 minutes it es later still no toilet paper. The only good thing was our water he was very nice and on top of it. Other than that quite a terrible experience. read more

I have not been to norms in a few years and i have to say...why the hell did i wait so long! I was craving some breakfast for dinner and It did not dissapoint. The pancakes were cooked to golden perfection not too thick and the french toast were also sooo good. But by far the best part was our waitress the wondeful crafty Kristina. Food quality stays the same, service is normal, ambience is always busy. This restaurant has been there for over 50 yrs. The price of the food on the menu has gone up (naturally due to inflation) but the quality remains the same. They still serve Steak with free soup and salad. I had New York cut steak with veggies and baked potatoes butter and cream (loaded) but I had minestrone soup and green garden salad with Caesar dressing. After finishing the soup and eating up 1/2 of the salad comes my New York cut steak. Oh what a delight!! Once again, Norm's has never disappointed me. Tonight, I was waited on by my favorite Server, Kristina. This fine woman just radiates kindness and friendly service. Tonight, Kristina recommended the trout dinner. I can't remember the last time I had had trout that good. The meal came with a baked potato and crisp lightly buttered vegetables, preceded by the best Gumbo this side of New Orleans. Normally I would finish a good meal with a piece of pie and ice cream. That or a hot fudge sundae. But honestly, the meal was so big and satisfying I let with a nice cup of passion fruit Ice Tea.
