Had such a bad experience , ordered through the drive-through and I ordered very specifically a Menudo an order of taquitos an order of the tacos specials and I asked the girl if they had club sandwiches she said yes and if I wanted to make it a combo and I said of course with a diet Pepsi. I got home I didn't have the order of the taco special. I called and let them know that I was missing those tacos and I was already home, she said that she was sorry because she did hear me ask for the them , but for some reason, she didn't put it in and said I'm sorry I didn't charge you for them because I forgot . I said ok so as long as I didn't get charged for it I was ok . I went ahead and began to serve my mom some of the club sandwich and I thought it was weird that the sandwich was in a white wrapper (club sandwiches normally are put in a container ) I opened the sandwich, it was a BLT instead of the club . At this point I called and I let them know that they must of given me someone else's food because this was the second thing that they messed up and this time they gave me the wrong thing. The woman I spoke to said she would make it for me I told her specifically I couldn't go right away because I'm at work and I was like in Reseda and that establishment is in Van Nuys. It takes me a few minutes to get back-and-forth. I told her I would have my husband stop my to pick it up she said that was fine I told her I couldn't go till 8 pm and she said fine . Never did she say to me to bring the sandwich back I would've known I would've not tossed it ,I threw it in the trash bin because that's not what I wanted to eat. I called to let them know my husband was gonna pass by at nine instead of eight because of work schedules and that's what she said to me that to bring the BLT which I no longer had on me and I was not gonna go dig out of the trash bin . Should've I known that she wanted it back I would've put it in the refrigerator and gave it back to her, but I was upset because I was hangry . I tossed it in the trash bin. I'm a very upset customer, my reviews for this place has always been good. I've never had a bad experience as a matter of fact, I like the menudo that they make here and the taco special is one of my favorites but never have I ever had someone be so rude and unprofessional. I know people make mistakes but today was just over and beyond and the fact that she offered to make it for me I never once asked her to do it . She out of her own mouth offered. She said that I never asked for a club sandwich that I ordered a BLT and that's another reason. I was upset because they don't even sound the same. I called to let them know my husband is coming around 9 instead of 8 to which at this point asked for the sandwich back that I already had tossed. I just told her never mind! it's kinda cheap and kinda crappy but in a way that hits when you need it to. Yeah you'll prob sht your guts out later but it'll be worth it because for a moment you got to order from a big ah menu and it was exciting deciding between the burrito and the cheeseburger. Stopped by for a good burger and was not disappointed. This place has changed hands a few times but I think this restaurant may be here to stay. I ordered a double cheeseburger with pastrami and when they handed me the bag, the aroma filled the car. That burger was so good, it was, as my son put it, gone too soon! Came here for lunch and ordered pastrami melt and kid burger meal for me since I can only eat small quantity. I asked for no cheese on my burger and sadly they put cheese. I didn't want to make a fuss so I ate it anyway and it was good. As for the pastrami melt, it was delicious! Bread was grilled just right and it was a good portion. Quite pricey but ok. Angry Boy Burgers is family-owned. I love that. They are fast food, sort of. All of it is great. They are one of those little places that has it all from Breakfast to Dinner and Mexican food on top of that. The place is super clean, not very big, and most people use take away, or delivery. The service is friendly and fast. They seem to care about you and they always get my order right. I personally love their breakfast, pancakes, eggs and bacon--yum. Their Mexican food is super. I saw this place as I drove by and decided to check them out (I'm glad I did). Their menu selection is vast, I ordered my favori food, pork chop dinner, it comes with 3 decent sized pork chops, French fries, 4 onion rings, Hamburger buns and a choice of either soda or salad, I chose soda. The Pork chop was cooked the way I like them, I put one of the pork chop into the buns and made a pork chop sandwich, the fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious. Food was prepared fresh so it took them about 10 minutes to prepare. The service was friendly and professional. The dining area was kept clean, they have 5 4-chair tables indoor and a 2-chair table, they have 3 bench tables with umbrellas outside. They also have a drive-thru service, they have plenty of parking space in the back. I would highly recommend this place, I will be back to try out their other dishes. read more

Let's start with the fact that I rarely give a five star rating. I write reviews for restaurants in National publications Angry Boy Burgers it's a family owned family operated restaurant I call it a restaurant because it's between fast food and actual dining. I've been there several times and tried various options. The burgers are on point and always consistent. The quality of the food is fresh and you can actually taste the difference. I have tried the wet burrito as well and highly recommend it. It's big enough to feed two people and it's totally delicious. It has layers of flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think you can go wrong. You definitely get value for your money. The portions are large and generous. I highly recommend you try the wet burrito. Everything is made fresh when ordered. The service is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. Everything they do they want to make sure you're pleased they have indoor seating, as well as outdoor tables. I appreciate the service and the friendliness of the employee but this food is no good. The ingredients are fresh, portion is big. But it is sooooo blaaaand. I got a "smash" burger which did look like a very regular generic burger. Thick sliced onions (gross), well done patty with no juice, no seasoning. Just bland. Like come on guys, put some soul in your food. Have you tried it yourself? If so - you have a very low standards. I noticed one thing - if you see on the menu a generic looking burger - the food will be bland. Idk maybe they have better breakfast or melts or anything else. Angry Boy is new to the van nuys area, I'm pretty sure they took over Chuy's Tacos so they have some big shoes to fill! Inside is very clean with only bar seating facing the wall, outside had about 3 tables and a drive thru. Ordered: Tam's Super Burger, which comes with Bacon and avocado, plus lettuce tomato etc. I asked for an extra patty cause I was hungry, and it was worth it. The burger was very juicy and had nice char, reminded me of Fosters or Daglas(ehhh almost) but definitely recommend their burgers. Fries were okay, some were seasoned some weren't, some were soggy, some were stale, and some were good. Not sure if they mix new fries with old fries, that may not be best idea tho Taquitos were what had me debating if this is a 3 or 4 star review... not sure if they're house made but they looked and tasted like frozen Jose Olé taquitos which isn't necessarily horrible but not great either.. My gooooooosh. Ok so my pregnant butt has been craving a burger, but not just any type of burger. One that is from a mom and pop shop. People!!!!!! This is THE place! It's fairly new but wow the foot traffic here is busy but quick. The seating inside is small but honestly it's no big deal, they have more seating outside. Fries are great, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The bun isn't oily and it has a really good light sweet taste, not like Hawaiian bread but like what a burger bun should expect to taste like. I ordered the avo burger....my little one and I loved it. Patty was cooked well done, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the avo was greatly spread but not to the point where it falls out of the bun, I HATE THAT. Growing up in the hood, Long Beach, Compton area, we always had the good burger spots like Louis Burgers, Tams, Fantastics, Petes etc. In the Valley, these places are non - existant, until today. Angry Boy Burger has popped up outta nowhere for me. The burger here has that same traditional charbroiled flavor, good onion, cheese, and amazing 1000 island spread taste. Been searching for a place like this around here for almost a decade. Other burger joints are great, but this is as good as you're gunna get for that charbroiled burger taste. There's a new restaurant that just opened up in Van Nuys. I call it a restaurant as opposed to a Burger joint as the name might suggest. But as you can see from the photograph of the menu that I took, it provides much much more selection then just your typical hamburgers fries and drinks. As this was my first time going here, I asked for a suggestion on their best burger. They recommended the signature Burger which was a fully loaded Burger with bacon and avocado. It did not disappoint. It was very delicious and quite big. A meal in itself. The french fries were decent. Probably better if I had heated them up again when I got home. The onion rings were on the thinner side and very crispy. My preference are those thicker cut onion rings but that's just me. I was very satisfied with my burger. I will be returning to try out their other menu options, especially the pastrami sandwich. It also has a convenient drive-thru. I'm giving this 5 stars because in it's category, it's really good. Ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. The burrito was good portion the flavor was good it did lack sausage protein so it did not live up to its name. We also ordered the asada taco it was not good at all the meat did not have flavor and mostly fat. The tortilla was colder than a room temperature soda. The green salsa was watered down with little flavor but the red salsa had good spice and flavor. We also ordered the French toast breakfast plate that was good fluffy French toast and crispy bacon.
