Some of the best burgers I've ever had. Fries are great too.
Andy L.

Some of the best burgers I've ever had. Absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients made to order. French fries were great too, and the sauce it came with was tasty.

Was excited that you opened in van Nuys, 3rd time here. Ordered in door dash. Normally I love checking out local spots, but unfortunately, this visit was a bit of a miss. The fries unfortunately missed the mark entirely--they were so heavily salted that they were completely inedible. I'm guessing a heavy hand slipped with the seasoning shaker! Hoping quality control catches this next time, because everything else had potential. I guess today was the last time for me and my kids. Sorry!

Incredible service!!! From the moment we walked in, everyone was smiling, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell this team is excited about what they're building. We've been seeing the signs for Chris n' Eddy's on Van Nuys Blvd for months, so when we saw that Friday, September 25th was their soft opening, we had to finally check it out. And WOW awesome decor, really cool artwork, great energy, and of course, some delicious Smash Burgers! One little thing really stood out to me. I simply asked if they could add some chopped chilies to the burgers. The manager/owner -- I'm not sure which one he was, could have easily just said, "Sorry, we don't do that." Instead, he said, "We don't normally do that, but I'll go to the back and chop them myself and put them in the burgers." THAT is customer service. It was such a small request, but that kind of attitude goes a long way. You can tell they genuinely want people to enjoy their experience. Congratulations to the entire Chris n' Eddy's team on the soft opening. You guys are off to a great start, and the burgers were seriously delicious. Well-deserved review! Thank you for the hospitality, and we'll definitely see you guys again soon! As someone who dines a lot, take my word for it.

Single smash and delicious fries

Best smashed burgers period. They are superior to anything else in the valley. So good. Also the service is always good. Love this spot !!!

Perfect after night shift spot

Hadn't heard of this place before and decided to pull up after my night shift as it was one of the few places open. The employees were SO nice, told us about the upside down toasted buns, and absolutely ripped into these Food came out quick, prices are good, and the burger just MELTS in your mouth. Absolutely amazing, I will be back! (+s/o to the man in the black collar shirt, fine af and so sweet)

Honestly, waited so long. To try them since it's close to my house. They were supposed to all all the works, literary has a tiny leaf of lettuce on the 2 and pickles, the other we got it plain and they all basically look the same, also they were salty. The place is col though but not sure it's its something I'm dying to have again. For 30 dollars maybe at least give two fries instead of one. These are portions for a kid.

Double Slider & Fries with their delicious sauce.

My son & I went to check out this place he loves smash burgers so I told him about this place because it kept popping up on my IG feed, so we went to check it out instantly felt welcome by Lindsay. She explained to us the menu since it was our first time. We place our order, then she brought out our food, freshly hot. The fries were perfectly salted, the burgers and I love their sauce. My son loves it. Lindsay is the best. Great impression for the our first time here. We will definitely be back again. The vibe here is nice and chill. Get it a try.

Stopped in during my lunch break to try this place out, and the food was amazing! I got two sliders, and it was definitely a good amount of food for the money. The sliders are an easy 9/10, and the service was great. The place looked really cool, too. I'll definitely be coming back, this is my new favorite spot in the area! Next time, I'll be getting a shake.

Amazing milkshake.

Hands down, easy...5 stars!!…read more Was craving chili cheese fries (literally), and this place delivered! Parking was available in a small parking lot right next to the establishment, and while it was a bit tight, there were plenty of spots! Just make sure you don't miss the turn for the lot! They had exactly the type of menu I was looking for. It was very diner in the sense that they had a delicious menu of burgers, fries, and all things fried that I was looking for...AND chili cheese fries. Carlos was the kind man who took our order. It was pretty empty on a Sunday early evening, and service was spot on. It was clean and cool inside and lots of seating outside too. With their combo deals, you can upgrade your regular fries to chili cheese fries for an extra $6.99. WORTH IT! Will definitely be back! The patty melt was everything!! The fries, even better and so crispy to perfection!

Manager Jamez Roberts and his team provided us with a dedicated patio area, including shaded umbrellas that were especially appreciated on a warm day. When we got there, there were only a few tables with guests in the whole restaurant, likely because we got there at 8pm and they close at 9pm. But we stood at the front for a few minutes before anyone greeted us, and when we finally were "greeted", a man just came up to us and looked at us with confusion and didn't say anything, just raised his eyebrows. I said, "Hi! We have 5 adults. May we sit outside please?" He said sure and guided us outside to our table with not much said. We waited quite a while before a server came over to us, and it ended up being the same guy that brought us to the table originally. He came over to us and said, "Drinks?" It was sort of awkward how unwelcome we felt. That was pretty much our entire experience with the server: very slow service, and very few words. Once we put our food order in, we grabbed the Uno deck at a neighboring table to play until the food came out. That was actually really fun! But we waited for the food for so long - playing multiple games of Uno with 5 people and still not having our food. It was painful - especially since it seemed there was not much going on around us. Our hope was the food would be a saving grace here to our first time experience at this restaurant, but unfortunately it was not. My father-in-law liked his salmon dish, and my husband said the steak melt was decent, rating it at a 6.5-7/10. My mother-in-law said she liked her French dip, but barely touched it. My sister-in-law's short ribs had way too much sauce on it and too much salt, so she could not finish hers either because of that. My truffle burger was overwhelmed by blue cheese to the point where you could not taste anything else, so I also could not finish mine because of that. In the end, we all spoke about it and the highlight for our family was that they had Uno available for tables to play. But unfortunately we all agreed we would never be back.

He was a badass that made them run crying becasue he was a Cat in training. He is Gone but his legacy still lives with Doug and Hiroko so ill write it again becasue these dummies gotta know. The Last Bastion of No-Nonsense Grit: Bill's Burgers isn't here to hold your hand. It's a visceral, smoke-scented institution serving pure sensory overload on a paper plate, parked on a sun-baked stretch of Van Nuys asphalt. It was Lord Anthony Bourdains favorite place. he just never said it was because he didnt want hipsters to flood it so whenever he was asked to do a segment of his favorite burger place he said fine and did In and Out. The first time you stand outside this shack, your coddled, over-sanitized sensibilities might panic. It looks stripped-down, raw, and unbothered by modern trends. Good. We've been conditioned by corporate fast-food labs to accept heavily preserved, unseasoned mediocrity. If your digestive tract objects after eating here, it's not an ailment--it's a physical exorcism. It's your body aggressively throwing out years of plastic chain-restaurant food and demanding you finally man up. Order the Double Cheeseburger. Retreat to your car like you just pulled off a diamond heist, and sink your teeth into it.Instantly, the world stops spinning. This isn't just a meal; it is an intense, deeply seductive, full-body experience. As your eyes close, a cosmic frequency takes over your soul. It's the smooth, velvety warmth of Marvin Gaye and Barry Whitetrading lines with a soulful caress of the harp by Randy Rhoads , while the ACTUAL God aka Ozzy Osbourne preaches the ACTUAL Gospel aka Black Sabbath right into your cerebral cortex. It feels so dangerously good it should probably be age-restricted. Just as you are about to completely lose yourself in pure culinary euphoria, the ghost of James Brown jolts through your spine, slaps you back to consciousness, and tells you to wake up. You open your eyes, realize you completely blacked out and inhaled the burger, each sensual bite after the other, and immediately walk back to the counter to order another one. The Code of the Counter: The legendary Bill may have moved on to the great flat-top in the sky, but his uncompromising, badass legacy lives on through Doug and Hiroko. This shack is a fortress against the overly sensitive and the trendy. If you need an influencer-approved background, app tracking, or a side of truffle fries, head back to In-N-Out. To survive the ritual, you must respect the temple: The Strategic Windows: Show up before 12:00 PM or after 2:00 PM. Good art takes time, and they are massaging each patty into absolute perfection. The No-BS Policy: The corporate lie of "the customer is always right" dies at the sidewalk. The law of the land is beautiful in its simplicity: Don't be a jerk, and you will receive a masterpiece. The Pure Minimalism: No fries. Don't ask. They don't exist. You don't need them. The burger is the alpha, the omega, and the only thing that matters.

Unfortunately, the recent price increase has changed that for me. The burgers are now close to $9 each, and while I've always been willing to pay a little more for a good burger, I just don't feel they're worth the new price. Under the previous pricing, Bill's was a place I could happily return to again and again. At the new prices, it feels like the value is simply no longer there. Since Bill passed, Doug has taken over running the business, and it seems like the prices have increased substantially. I understand that costs go up and businesses have to make money, but this feels like a significant jump, and unfortunately it comes across as more of a money grab than a reasonable price adjustment. I'm sure some longtime customers will continue to go, but for me, this is where I draw the line. I genuinely like the burgers, but liking the food only goes so far when the price no longer makes sense. After all these years, I won't be going back. That's disappointing, because Bill's Burgers used to be one of those local places I was happy to support.
