Can't say enough good things about this place. The food is always delicious. Portions are huge. I can come here anytime and enjoy trying out all their delicious foods. Service was great. We love it. It was so fast so very ideal if you were hungry. Lastly I noticed the updated retro decor of the entire interior space of the restaurant. I love the feeling and nostalgia it is trying to impart to its customers. We will definitely come here more often.

Norms is a late night diner staple. Open 24/7, it's always busy but they always have room for everyone who walks through their doors. Mornings and holidays are when it's most packed. The employees hustle and bustle to get the food out in a timely manner. You never have to worry about waiting for the check as it's always dropped off at your table for you to pay at the front counter whenever you're ready. The menu is your standard diner fare, with breakfast being the most filling. They have lots of booths and tables for every configuration if you're coming with a group. The interior is as clean as could be, and the restrooms require codes to access. Overall Norms is pretty aces when it comes to diners. It's a good place to unwind and catch up, have a family meal, grab a quick bite with friends, share a milkshake with your sweetie, or have a nice cup of Joe (their Colombian coffee is strong!). Norms is not high class, but it's dependably decent any day and any time.

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great diner vibe. Clean and large seating area and plenty of parking. All the food taste incredibly fresh, coffee flows endlessly and the kindness of the staff and servers are phenomenal!! Highly recommended!!

2026/02/07 update: Today was a good day to come here for lunch, I was expecting the wait to be long but when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see no wait, I got seated immediately. My friend treated me to lunch here for my birthday. Their menu changed from 2 months ago. I was kinda looking forward to a T-bone steak trio but they changed it to a NY Steak Trio. It was good and filling, but I still prefer the T-bone steak trio. The service was friendly and professional and attentive. They checked in with us a couple of times to see if we need anything.

This place was very popular on a Sunday afternoon assuming it was a church rush but we got sat (our party of 4) within 15 minutes which was very impressive. They really know how to provide quick and quality service and turn the tables around fast. I ordered the "Classic breakfast" which included two eggs of choice (I got over medium), hash browns, choice of bacon or sausage (I got bacon) and choice of toast or pancakes (I got pancakes). I also ordered the "Jamaica," agua Fresca and it was so refreshing. Our servers name was "Dolly" and she was very kind and helpful to us. The restaurant maintained a clean environment. I would def come back here again and try other menu items. I highly recommend this place if you want good diner food at a great price as well. Our check was about $60 and (4) people ate!

Norms will forever feel like home to me. I've been coming to this location for as long as I can remember. I especially love the feel & look inside during the holiday season. It could get busy during lunch or dinner hours but usually won't wait over 30 minutes. My parents eat there weekly. Recently I joined them on one of their lunch dates. Got a big & delicious breakfast. Food was good, service was good. Food came out pretty quick also.

I don't know why, but norms always hits when it's late at night. Our server Carlos is the best. He's so funny and very patient and you can tell he loves his job...

4.5 Stars It was our first time at this location! I've been to the one in West Hollywood a couple of times, and while that one has a roomier entrance and easier parking layout, this spot still had plenty of charm. The parking area here felt a bit more congested, especially getting in, but once inside the experience made up for it. We went on a Friday night, so there was a bit of a wait. I was told 15-20 minutes but was pleasantly surprised--it ended up being only about 8 minutes. The host was friendly and welcoming. Our family of three was seated in a cozy booth, and I really liked how the layout creates smaller, more intimate sections--it gives it that classic, old-school diner feel. Our server, Ms Kristina was amazing (just like so many other reviews have said). She was warm, engaging, and attentive without being overbearing. Great customer service--she checked in on us several times throughout the meal. The food came out hot and fresh. The onion rings were a bit crispier than I prefer, but everything else was on point. The fried fish was basic but perfectly cooked--light, golden, and crispy. I added some freshly chopped onions and pickles to give it a little extra flavor, and it was perfect. It's definitely a nostalgic, old-school spot with a relaxed, friendly vibe. The floors had a few crumbs when we first walked in, but I noticed a staff member sweeping not long after we were seated, which was appreciated. Overall, great food, great service, and that classic diner comfort I love. We'll definitely be back!

Our server Kristina was the best. She made my father in laws birthday really special.

It's super hard to find an inexpensive place to eat that has decent food. Love going to Norms. What stuck out to me about this location is the service. Aynne was our server today, and she was so capable, kind and helpful. She told us she's worked here for 33 years. She knows her stuff. Shes one of the best servers we've ever had.We felt like we came in as diners and left as friends.

Allie G.

Definitely got old school diner vibes here lol Our waitress was great and friendly. We were really craving milkshakes and they didn't disappoint. Made with real icecream they were top notch! Too bad they don't have a cookies and cream flavor. We shared a combo dish that had ribs and buffalo wings. Weird mix but it worked out since we were craving different things. The prices are outrageously affordable and it seems it doesn't compromise the quality of food.

My wife and I went to Norms for dinner last night, 5/3/26. The hostess took my name and we got seated in no time. Jorge, our server, graciously greeted us immediately and took our drink order and delivered our beverages in no time. He took our food order right away and we got our food in about 15-20 minutes . My wife ordered the club sandwich without bacon with onion rings and I ordered the habanero bacon cheeseburger without bacon with fries. Everything appeared to be in order in the beginning however after I took the second bite from my burger I noticed that the cook had forgotten to add the batter-fried jalapeno, however the burger was topped with the blister fried jalapeno. I didn't complain about it with our server because usually complaints conveyed from servers to cooks usually get neglected and the cooks will keep doing the same mistakes over and over, so I decided to do a review about the kitchen staff and perhaps the district manager will direct the chef in charge to properly evaluate the cooks on their knowledge about their entrees ingredients and how to properly prepare them. The service was good as usual, Jorge is an efficient and well trained sever, his service was impeccable. Please tell your cooks not to cut corners and do their job properly don't accept any excuses. We've been doing that for a few years now, so that should tell you something right there. Our order is fairly consistent: we each start with a mimosa that comes in a highball glass, so one is usually all we need. Next, we share an order of kimchi biscuits (you get two). So delicious! Packed full of kimchi, bacon and cheddar cheese, it's a nice combo of flavors that play well together. The interior is usually soft and warm, with a nice crunchy crust. Top that with a smatter of the cinnamon butter that it comes with...yum! Our choice of entree varies, anything from avocado toast, to their kale and seaweed salad or any of their other selections they have from their brunch/lunch menu. On this outing, my friend and I both opted for the bibimbap. I opted for the pork bulgogi while my friend got the chicken version. It comes with a generous amount of carrots, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts, and is topped with a runny, sunny side up egg that serves as an excellent sauce when you mix everything together, along with the gochujang sauce. We upgraded and got it with brown rice in the hot stone bowl. Worth it! The regular bibimbap is good, but when you mix in the crunchy crust that comes from the bottom of the stone bowl, you get an additional texture that makes the dish really stand out. The flavors already come together nicely, and the crunchy bits just enhance the experience. For dessert, we like to share the "lemon pie", which is actually a scoop of lemon gelato that comes in a glass that also includes graham crackers, topped with toasted marshmallows. A nice way to end the meal. And the staff! We usually either have Justin or Ann as our server, but everyone there is super friendly and helpful. They are consistently good at checking up on you and making sure you have everything you need. Just another 5 star reason of why we keep coming back!

Where to park wasn't clear to us but it didn't take long to find free street parking a short walk away on Weddington. Ordering at this location is through a walk up window. However today it was fully occupied by a team member handling pick-up orders. There was another team member who seemed to be taking orders as customers walked up, but was also helping with pick ups. This was a bit confusing so we just waited until someone approached us which didn't take long. The husband chose the Bruxie SmashBurger (+ egg), opting to make it a combo with Waffle Fries and soda. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It all came out pretty quickly. The husband said his SmashBurger was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. He loved the waffle fries. My chicken tenders were nicely fried, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The waffle was light and crisp. It all came together with the whipped butter and pure maple syrup -- so good! Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.

Being a huge matcha fan, I was all set to order one, but then I spotted a unique drink on the menu called "Fluffy Hojicha." I got curious and asked a staff member what hijocha was. The wait for my sister's drink, along with a crème brûlée donut and a strawberry donut, was just a quick 3-5 minutes. The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much.
