SriPaPai should have never closed. This new place is completely inedible. What a huge loss.

To begin with on a cold weather like most of the people will order a cup of tea!! I ordered green tea just like most restaurant offered with the server when the tea arrive I saw it was in a nice pot with candle lit on the bottom . I ordered a noodle dish that came out pretty quick and start eating them.. wait a minute I realized that I don't even have a napkin and I prefer to use chopsticks.. It takes me a while to find another server to get them for me.. my server never came back to ask how my food was until my very last bite he stopped by to ask if everything was fine.. 20 min later just to check if everything was okay.. what a great service and just a heads up I wasn't inform that the tea was served in a pot and it cost $6 for some cheap green tea.. the manager even told me it's on the drink menu and if someone wasn't planning to drink would you even open the drink menu? If the server mention the tea would be serve only in a pot then I would expect to pay for it!! Service sucks! Ambience is nice . Food was ok.. nothing special! Never again !! Most of the restaurant will serve the tea for free .. even if it's not free $6 could buy yourself a bag of loose green tea leaves!! Cons! The food wasn't expensive considering it's Williamsburg but $6 for a pot of cheap green tea ..it is!! And to your response First of all you're showing me how inattentive you are as a manager or host since you sat me on a table without proper settings which missing a linen napkins as you said that enough to provide for the whole restaurant! That's the reason why I ask for a napkin thru out the meal not that I need more and as I said the chopstick is a preference!! Second of all you said the green tea leaves are from Rishi and it's one of the top brand in U.S .. look it up on Google if the name falls into the top 10 chart!! Unless Google is wrong about it!! I'm no tea sommelier and green tea is green tea to me .. based on your respond and knowledge I couldn't say you are a tea sommelier .. third I've never mentioned that you should tell the customer that the tea costs $6 per pot.. I only said that there's a way to let the customer know that you only serve it by pot and this way the customer expect to pay for it. But you insists telling me that it was written on the drink menu meanwhile I don't want to drink and I've not even seen the drink menu at all so how would I know? I liked that when you said you respect customer privacy but not going back to check on the customer at all? Yes as I said the server came back to check on things when I'm having the last bite on my dish!! Is that satisfying to you? I've been in food and service industry for many many years!! I've even manage a chain restaurant that's bigger than yours which Becky knows by now.. I've never got such a response over a criticize and trying to blame it back on me!! Please educate yourself with the way you respond to a customer and what customer service is all about and when you need to go back to check on the table if everything's ok and don't make it looks like it's my fault ! Don't tell me that this is the right way to respond to a customer as a so called customer service professionals! Until now I I've not even seen an apology for all the inconvenience at all and should really revise what you just said to make me looks bad! read more

I was in the mood for a Thai tea and stopped into Nora Thai for a Thai tea to go. While I was waiting I used the restroom. I have to say they have the most amazing bathroom I have seen in a while. So cool with a giant bathtub as a sink. You will need to check this one out. Getting back to the tea!!! It was the best Thai tea that I have had in years. I can't wait to go back to check out the food. If the tea was this amazing I can't imagine what the food will be like. read more

I used to really liked this place as it's one of very few Thai places that offers vegan options. It had the best vegan Thai I've ever had! Sadly since last year it only started going downhill. We kept giving it a chance but every meal we had was worse than the other. It really became more and more bland and today it just happens to be the worst I've had from there. One of my favorites the panang curry was so salty that it was not edible and made me sick after just few bites. Few other times we ordered pad Thai and same thing no flavor too much salt. Not sure what happened there if the chef changed or what exactly but it sadly made me go out here and write this review. read more

The food is good. The flavor is intense. I enjoy the soup a lot. My favorite is the Thai Coconut Soup (Tom Kha) and Green Mango Salad. Their curry dish is spicy. I drank two serving of Ice Thai Milk Tea to stop the spice. They also have homemade ice cream. I love their Coconut and Thai Milk Tea flavor ice cream. I will come back and taste the rest of their menu with food-loving friends. read more

What.The.??? I came to Qi (what this place was previously called) many many times and loved it. They replaced the menu, presumably fired the chef, hired waiters for ineptness, and raised the prices. No more lunch special either. The fountain has been removed, even Buddha left this place. Forecast: this is a nail salon a month from now opening up. I heard good things about this restaurant from friends and colleagues, so I gave it a try this week. What can I say....the food, the ambiance, the service, the experience felt like I was in the heart of Thailand. The authenticity of the Thai food brought me back to Bangkok. Unlike others I had a really good experience. Great space, ambiance and music. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the soft shell crab on the waiter's recommendation, and it was very tasty. The Thai ice tea was sweet (how I like it), and was a good sized portion. Same for the food. I generally think Thai food is weak in NYC (I used to live in SF, and its much better there, in general). So keep that in mind. I'll definitely come back here! read more

Don't bother if you're actually hungry. I used to come here all the time when this place was Qi and Sripripri. But this new business is not worth it. First off they don't have a classic Thai salad with peanut sauce. Seems like a standard for Thai restaurants. Lame. So I got the summer roll, wanting Veg. It was 90% noodles inside. Then I order a curry dish. It literally came in a tea cup, for $14. Also there were zero vegetables in this either. Veggies are so cheap. I don't get it. This place blows. I had one drink and dinner, one hour after I felt very sick in my stomach. I don't know because of the drink or the foods. They had ruined my night before July 4th. The food presentations are not outstanding as their advertising. The foods are not even authentic as many Thai restaurants. read more

I just came from Thailand and this place is better than many of the great restaurants we tried over there. It's authentic, inexpensive, with good portions and great variety. Healthy choices too! I've been to this location when it was previously Qi and SriPraPhai. When it changed to Nora Thai, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. After dining here the other day, I can say that the food and service here is really wonderful (even better than before). I highly recommend the Massaman Curry with braised beef (this dish did not contain a crazy amount of onions like other places and the beef was soooo tender!) and the beef Pad Thai (very flavorful and delicious). The service was also excellent. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Will be back soon to try more dishes! read more

The best Thai place in Brooklyn! I went there for a going away party for a friend, and the service was excellent. The waiters were friendly, and the food was superb, especially the fried fish! Great ambience, good sized portions, friendly waiters but super salty food. Too sweet for me!

The service was horrible. We were a party of 11. Had to wait forever for drinks and had to continue to remind them about ordered drinks. Food was cold and two people didn't even get there food one of them being the person we were celebrating. Getting the bill paid was a headache as well. First time here, an instant fan! Way better than Sea in my opinion. The spring rolls are possibly the best I've ever had and the entrees don't disappoint either. We had the sautéed basil w shrimp. The service is 5 stars as well. We had Fern as our waitress. She was very attentive, professional, well mannered, and customer satisfaction oriented. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! Wish I could rate 0 stars. Placed a pick up order on a Sunday evening at 7:27pm, that should have been ready at 7:47p...its currently 8:30pm, 45mins past the pick up time and I still haven't received my order. I'm not sure why its taking over an 1hr to prepare 2 appetizers, fried rice entree, and 1 pad thai. I tried to speak with the hostess several times and she would walk past ignoring me. After several times of being ignored, I requested to speak with the manager and she said she doesn't know where he is. When I asked her to go find him, she said she couldn't move from the front, although I've seen her walk to the back several times while I waited. While still inside still waiting, I called the restaurant phone to speak with the manager. As I was explaining the issue I could hear that he placed the phone down, I repeatedly said hello with no response, so I hung up. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and I need a receipt to show that my money was refunded back to my card, at that moment she then proceeded to the back. I had to wait another 10mins for someone, who wasn't the manager, to come out to the front with the void receipt. The manager never came out to speak to me nor did I receive an apology for the wait from the manager nor any of the employees. The Hostess was unnecessarily rude, dismissive and snappy when she did acknowledge me. I felt I was treated with absolutely no regard or respect, when I was simply trying to pick up my order. I never usually write reviews but this experience prompted me to do so. This could have definitely been handled differently by the management and staff. Extremely disappointing experience!!!!!!!! Ordered crispy pork belly, took one bite and realized it was like rubber and not cooked. I looked for another piece and nothing was cooked. Within 1/2 hour I had food poisoning. We had a large group last night and made the reservation weeks ago. More than half of the food we received were terrible! Not even "okay" just terrible. My drunken noodles was WHITE and the noodles had to be cut off the plate bc they were so overdone and literally stuck to the plate. Have to say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have dined at. We spoke with the manager and were told that it opened only a few months ago in early 2019. The decor features both traditional Thai and contemporary designs and are beautifully blended together. There are hanging swing chairs up front by the bar, and a tall Buddha statue towards the back, with lantern shaped lights adorning the tall ceiling in the main dining area. The staff was friendly and super attentive. The dishes were prepared with very fresh ingredients and were seasoned perfectly. The menu has a wide range of prices so there is something for everyone. And when you're done, you can wash your hands in the bathtub. That's right, there's a bathtub with several faucets for rinsing. You don't see this too often in a restaurant. This is one of the distinctive amenities that makes this eatery stand out. Definitely will return when I'm in Williamsburg. read more
