Mixed bag. We started out with Pakoras. The batter was thin and relatively uninteresting. Chutneys were also mild and meh. We got a mixed grill plate and a Goat curry dish with Mango. Curry dish was great! Grilled plate... not interesting. Naan also practically flavorless. The dessert was chili strawberry mango mousse. That was modern but also amazing. This restaurant should be a 5 Star without equivocation or qualification however my personal experience on this particular evening was less than stellar. I gave it 5 Stars in any case so you'll need to read to find out the reason I qualified my 5. I do not believe that any establishment is perfect and when I find redeeming values in other aspects of a restaurant I try to focus on those and if the opportunity arises for me to dine somewhere again rather than reflect back on the negatives I try to focus on the positives...many of which this restaurant most importantly the quality of the food which is outstanding...better than outstanding it is superlative. As well, the bar appears quite diverse is stocked with premium liquors however this evening I restricted myself to however for the life of me I cannot recollect the brand which was an Indian beer (not Kingsfisher). I will note however that espied a Maharaja (the Avery product) but given the cursory dining experience never had an opportunity to revisit it. We arrived at 7:30 PM and elected to sit at the bar for appetizers and had Mixed Vegetable Pakora, Gobi Manchurian and Samosa's all of which were outstanding, flavorful, plentiful and well seasoned all of which I would have again but the sole bartender was quite busy, was unable to take our food order (drinks were served within 10 minutes of our arrival) and by the time we were actually served (we were served an appetizer we did not order and the manager noticed and had them removed as the initial server simply laid the plate down and left and the bartender was busy making drinks) and it was about 20 minutes after the incorrect order before we were served all 3 of our appetizers...in any case we finally caught the attention of the bartender and told him we were ready to order an entree at which point he informed us that the kitchen had closed (it was 8:40PM). In all fairness, it was clearly stated on the menu that they closed at 9:00 PM, we selected the service area although we did ask the bartender whether he would serve us and without hesitation encouraged us to do so. It's a large bar area, the restaurant was busy, not packed there were only 3 of us at the bar...just trying to describe it as thoroughly as possible so you understand the situation was of mutual consent however given our inability to 'catch' his attention and the error in service I thought it compounded to 'late' situation. The bartender, recognizing that we were surprised and disappointed comp'd us our beer which I thought was gracious however I stand by my qualification...had we been told to consolidate our order, had we been reminded that the kitchen was closing or had we been told upon entry that given the activity level we would be in for an abbreviated dining experience I would not have qualified anything in this review and simply left it at 5 Stars. read more

Absolutely great service and ambiance. The food is good, but not great if you are an Indian food aficionado. It's kind off made to suite the tastes of people who want to try Indian but don't want all the added spices and flavor of authentic Indian. Nonetheless it's still a great place to check out. New favorite takeout spot. The veggie momos are to die for and I could drink a whole tub of the sauce (which has the perfect amount of heat). When you walk in the door you are greeted with a warm namaste and the whole restaurant is very clean. While I have only ordered takeout and not eaten in the restaurant, I have always been pleased with the food. My order is always ready on time and everything is delicious. read more

This is a hard one. We enjoy their food for what it is. It's over priced for sure. We finally went to eat inside the restaurant and it was really disappointing. There were 4 tables they never bothered to bus and we waited for items we ordered long enough that we were finished and ready to box it up as it finally arrived. Just not what we expected I guess. We live an hour away, but when husband and I are in town, this is one our favorite spots. This time, the tables are socially distanced, wait staff are masked and QR codes are on some tables to view menu. We were offered disposable paper menus, too. The chicken Korma was great. We couldn't finish our meals so the wait staff boxed it up for us. A manager or the owner came to our table to ask how our meal was. We told him it's being boxed for another meal. He said that the food will taste better warmed up because it will have marinated in the sauce longer. He was right. Second time was tastier! The garlic naan is good for garlic lovers. Try the masala hot chai. It comes in a big mug and is good. They have buffet set ups but I do not know if they do it now in the time of COVID. When it's back, it will be worth the visit. read more

The food is really good here but if you put it in to go order the servers, don't know the menu and the hostess will lie to you about your food when you go to pick it up, but the manager called me back and promised to replace my whole entire meal and deliver it to me so I raise my review of this place to a four and I never had him replace my food. I just wanted an apology and see that they actually care and I just had really bad service at one time other than that I've never had any problems with this place and I'll be here plenty of times and I really enjoy their food. read more

I would name the dishes but I'm not sure what they even are except delicious. After looking and trying to desire what to get out of about 4 things I decided the mixed grill and it was very tasty it was a little on the dry side. We got garlic and potato noon and I loved both the potato was delicious. My wife got something in a sauce and it was very good and made me wish I got my second pick which was the marsala so I had it to go with the rice and noon. But the food wasn't the best we order two appetizers and the feast for two which includes the salad, a plate of fried veggies, 3 different plates of shrimp masala, spinach cheese and chicken curry with a lot of sauce for the naan. Two stars for incredible service otherwise I would have given it one star for the food itself. It is so unbelievably bland and we ate a lot of different things here from appetizers to all kinds of entrees to deserts. Literally everything was missing flavor and oomph. I have been so excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was less than great. I am a former server so I try my best to be patient and understanding when things go wrong. We were there for almost two hours. Everything started off wonderfully. The server was nice and attentive. However, after the appetizer came it took almost an hour for the main dishes to arrive. We were told the kitchen missed our ticket. I believe differently. No one came by to apologize. We never got the naan we requested. It was just such a disappointing experience. The wings were AMAZING...full of zest and spice and herbs I was like Wingstop who???
