We had a lovely dinner at Nook. The restaurant was quite busy so we had to wait 15mn outside until a table was available. The menu is rather small and I would have liked more options for the pasta for exemple. We ordered tonnarelli cacio pepe to share and it was so bland, barely had any taste of cheese. I have had this dish many times at restaurants in Europe and the pasta is usually so cheese and with fresh grounded pepper. I would not recommend this dish at Nook. The pizza on the other hand was delicious. We ordered the houseade sausage pizza and we were not disappointed. The pizza crust was perfect and the other ingredients nicely cooked. The dessert also deserve praise. Very good tiramisu and panna cotta. Service was quick. Hopefully they manage to do tastier pasta.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This charming and intimate trattoria offers authentic rustic pizza and pastas in a cozy, welcoming environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizza is just like in Naples, with a thin center and poofy crust, perfectly sauced and cooked. A small but well-thought-out wine list focuses on Italian wines. Salted Caramel Chocolate Budino is a fabulous chocolate mousse-like dessert that goes great with an espresso. The servers are friendly and enthusiastic, and obviously enjoy what they are doing, which creates wonderful hospitality.

Limited menu for happy hour between 4pm and 5pm everyday. I wanted to get order pizza and checked with the server the decisions between prosciutto arugula and anchovy pizza. She asked how salty I can handle as anchovy is quite salty. So I ordered prosciutto as it's the less salty one. Then she said I can add anchovy on the prosciutto pizza - I don't get it. If anchovy is saltier than prosciutto and I ordered the less salty one and she said I can add anchovy on top? Totally doesn't make sense. There are situations to push for more sales but in this incident, totally not appropriate and unprofessional. Food arrive shortly after order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a relatively small space with the music it might be hard to talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Nook was good. We came here on a Saturday night, when we first got there it wasn't crowded. Later on it did start getting crowded and busy. Nook was a cute little restaurant. The decor was pretty. The service was prompt. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She had a bubbly personality. The food was good. We tried some new things and it was good. It didn't take long to come out. Everything is homemade--even the pasta and bread. I recommend coming here.

Amazing panna cotta and some to-go pasta!

It is always amazing to watch a well oiled machine run so efficiently, and happy. Every single staff member was greeting customers, and even each other with a smile, it was awesome! The excellent culture of this place was noticeable as a customer. The chef tossing fresh pizzas, the bar tender making drinks and helping with appetizers, and the main chef making tons of delicious pasta. This is the only place we ate twice during our visit to Vancouver!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a packed house both times we dined here, there were 5-10 guest consistently waiting for tables, and the staff handled it all extremely well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was top notch! Highly recommended the panna cotta for desert and this great place in general!

I was pleased to try this place with my friends. We had a nice girls night and I was not exactly sure what to expect, but there were a lot of unique items on the menu. The flavours of the food was well balanced. The Whipped Ricotta Crostini was delightful as it had a Nice balance between savoury and sweet. The roasted hazelnuts were a nice touch. The House made sausage pizza was surprisingly nice and light. There was a nice equilibrium of veggies and meat. My favourite was the Rigatoni. Between the three of us, this was a substantial amount of food and I will definitely comeback just to try other menu items.

I came here on Saturday evening and wanted to try some good Italian food . I have ordered Whipped Ricotta Crostini and Orecchiette. I feel the portions for crostini was very less for this much price. The Orecchiette pasta we ordered without sausage because we want it to be vegetarian option. It was tasting very good . The nice creamy sauce. The staff was very polite. They helped us to chose good vegetarian option. Will come to Nook again to try some more dishes !!

Great little restaurant! I had spaghetti bolognese and it was delicious. A little bite, but not too much. Great place to enjoy Italian.

Our picky 6yo son will eat some variant of this dish most of the time. The restaurant is gorgeous - brightly lit, classy, and arranged on two floors, each with a dedicated kitchen. The upstairs even has an open kitchen. Despite feeling very upscale, the restaurant is super welcoming to all, from families with kids, after-work crowds, folks on dates, and even well-dressed stockbrokers discussing their latest trades. The food was outstanding and had inspirations from Italian, Mexican and Japanese influences: 1. The kid's cheese pizza turned out really good - thin crust, Neapolitan style with slightly charred puffy crust from the wood oven. Our son ate most of it before the brick-chicken arrived! 2. The smaller dishes are meant to be shared - the Japanese Sweet Potatoes and Roasted Cauliflowers are good sides for a protein-rich entree. Wife ordered the lighter Baja Scallops and enjoyed them. 3. The star of the dinner was the Brick-Pressed half chicken. Crispy seared crust and super-moist meat underneath. Unlike many places they added a bit of spice from the chilis and even mixed in some beef tallow for additional richness. Our son enjoyed it too, and was not fazed by the slight heat from the chilis. A crispy skin always elevates a chicken! Highly recommend Nightingale for epic food, great service, and welcoming vibe. Reservations are available but make them early. The restaurant was packed even on a Wednesday evening!

Service was very quick, friendly and engaging. I really liked the chicken nice coating and crisp to it. Pizza was underwhelming - tasted a bit burnt to be frank. rest of the dishes had nice flavor - however didn't have much of a wow factor - Good place to try out - maybe one day will be back to explore the menu -

Woefully sub-average. It is best I can describe this place…read more Entered the place on a Monday afternoon whilst three East Indian men chillaxing in the dining area. They quickly jumped at my presence and returned to their stations as if they're caught slacking off. First idea was to order a deep dish but a few moments later upon entry I decided otherwise. I opted for 2 slices and a pop. Meatloaf and cheese. The sever didn't bother to warm them. They were dry and like old pizzas. Taste is okay/sub/average considering the price but very unlikely I will return.

Ordered two pizzas from here on Uber Eats…read more My friend and I wanted to check out the local deep dish scene, and this seemed to be one of the few places that offered it, so we decided to give it a try. I didn't have very high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas here. They offer a variety of veggie and meat pizzas that can be made with regular crust or deep dish style. We ordered a small deep dish margharita ($19.99) and a medium deep dish butter chicken ($23.99) pizza. Both weren't true deep dish pizzas, but the crust was nice and thick. I'd recommend the pizzas here to anyone who likes a breadier crust. My only minor complaint is that the pizzas didn't have enough sauce to complement the thick crust. The pizzas kept well for leftovers too. They tasted just as good the next day heated up in our toaster oven.
