First time trying and it was just okay. Korean meatballs were good but the pad thai with shrimp was just too sweet. Cookie was fantastic.

Korean meatballs, shrimp pad thai and a fabulous chocolate chip cookie. Pad Thai just too sweet not enough flavor.

I got a flyer in the mail for free delivery, but I signed up to order online and they had a promo for free delivery instead. I used that. It was raining so hard, but I was craving Asian food, and I saw that they had Pad Thai-I thought, "I'll try!" The Pad Thai was amazing! I wasn't expecting much, but it's not bad by any means. It's delicious! (The photos online on their website don't do it justice). The potstickers were good too! The Thai chicken soup-I saved it for another meal. I tasted it-yum!

It is extremely rare that I feel the need to update a review, but this one definitely needed to be highlighted! I came in here a couple nights ago with a friend who invited me out for dinner. I hadn't been here in a while, so this was a nice change of pace for a late dinner. We walked in around 8:15 or so and the place was basically empty. We had time to browse the menu and decide. Our cashier/waitress was Courtney. She was super sweet and accommodating. Answered all questions and took the time to make this a wonderful experience. My buddy ordered the steak stroganoff. But he wanted extra sauce. That's normally $1 extra. He wasn't sure if the last visit was a fluke or if they had changed the amount normally given. Courtney says, lets try it normally and see if it's a problem. Cool. He also orders it in a meal with their macaroni and cheese and a soda. Plus an appetizer of pot stickers. I ordered the Alfredo with Parmesan crusted chicken. After our food arrives, Courtney comes by to check on the sauce situation. It wasn't enough, and she brings out an extra side for my buddy. Now he knows to order it with extra sauce every time and pay the dollar so it is to his liking. Next the pot stickers come with a soy based dipping sauce with some red chili flakes in it. This isn't remotely spicy to a normal person. But my buddy is a retired marine who saw a lot of combat, and has basically been blown up and put back together during his tours of duty. So spicy food is a really big issue for him now. He had to send the sauce back and get it without the chili flakes in it. Now to a normal cashier, this would be a pain in the ass. The customer who asks tons of questions, sends stuff back, and is nice but obnoxious. We all know those kind of people. Courtney was nothing short of amazing in dealing with all of this, late at night and right before closing. She was so happy to make sure sure this was a great experience for us. I was definitely impressed! The food was better than I remember it being the last time too. I loved the chicken in mine. That Parmesan crust gave it a nice crispy texture. As I said, the food was good. But Courtney was what made this experience so fantastic and worth writing an updated review for. She clearly thrives on making our experience amazing and does a fantastI I've job at it. She should be training all service industry employees on customer service. She is just that good at it. After all that, it is definitely worth a return visit in here.

Not too busy, great table availability

Yet again this restaurant is a fantastic stop on a road trip heading either north or south, and for my second time here I again ordered the zucchini noodles shrimp scampi. It was delicious, and I audibly slurped the broth.

My family and I always make it a point to eat at a Noodles and Company location when we're traveling through Oregon. We had never visited the Springfield store before, so we thought we'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I wish we hadn't. This was one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever seen. Everything, including the tables, floors, and the drink station, was covered in a sticky layer of grime, grease, and dirt. The bathroom had no paper towels and was missing soap. When I went to order my food, the cashier wasn't even aware that the restaurant served the item I was ordering. I had to show her on the menu that the Japanese pan noodles existed. What's worse is that all the employees were basically standing around looking at their phones between customers, despite the dining room being completely dirty, including the bus area filled with dishes. While we were there, we witnessed two incidents where other customers complained. One person ordered online, and they forgot to make her food. When they eventually made the food, it was wrong, and the manager blamed the customer for clicking the wrong button on the app. The other customer faced a similar situation where they forgot to make her online order. If I were the owner of this location, I'd do a serious review of the food safety and customer policies of this store. I'd easily say that if this site were surveyed by the health department, they'd probably be shut down.

This was my first time coming here, and first impressions mean a lot. I got the grilled chicken Caesar salad and their rice crispy treat. For the salad, I was very disappointed because the photo made it look good. The Caesar dressing tasted like spinach dip with an aftertaste of guinea pig food (I had a guinea pig, so I know what it smells like). I thought the chicken was supposed to be grilled--it literally says that in the title--but it looked like boiled chicken. The only good thing about that salad was the croutons and lettuce. The other people I was with said their food had no flavor, and the macaroni and cheese had no cheese in it. The service was quite nice; the people who took our order were really helpful. The ambiance of the place was very nice and felt very calm. I liked how the lighting seemed very dim. Would I come back? Maybe. If I did come back, I wouldn't order what I got this time. Maybe I'll try something else.

Nicely priced for a family of 4. And we ordered a lot. We only paid $109! Service was awesome also. Our waitress was Chi-chi! She offered her recommendations and answered all our questions. Had a road trip from LA to Seattle,I passed by this beautiful little town name Eugene today and…read moredecided to try this Chinese restaurant. It's a place that specializes in wheaten food and noodles. Looking at the menu, I noticed a wide variety of options with complex preparation methods. For example, the dough used for regular dumplings is completely different from the dough used for shrimp dumplings (har gow). Shrimp dumplings require wheat starch (cheng mian), which must be kneaded and shaped with water around 70°C (158°F) to form properly. The entire process is incredibly labor-intensive and truly tests the chef's skill level. Ambiance & Environment: You can tell this restaurant has been open for a long time, yet it remains very clean. There is a glass-enclosed prep area where you can watch the staff making the dough and noodles from scratch, which perfectly showcases their specialty. However, I was seated right next to the back door. Since customers have to use this door to access the restrooms, people were constantly walking in and out. The draft was quite strong, causing my food to cool down very quickly. I highly recommend installing a folding screen there. I also overheard other guests asking to switch seats for the same reason, so this is definitely an area management needs to work on. The Food: Since I was dining alone, I only ordered two dishes, but overall, the food deserved high praise: Griddle Cooked Beef (Gan Guo Beef): A classic Sichuan dish. The beef slices were large, the side ingredients were plentiful, and they definitely didn't skimp on the seasoning. It had a rich, robust aroma of spices that burst in your mouth. Delicious! Beef Dumplings: Easily the best dumplings I have ever had on the entire West Coast. The wrappers were thin, the filling was generous, and they were incredibly juicy--literally bursting with flavor with every bite. Highly recommended! Service: Absolutely non-existent! About five minutes after all my food arrived, while I was right in the middle of eating, a server just dropped the bill on my table. I was completely baffled. It wasn't until I pointed out that I still needed rice that they finally took the bill back. Once I finished my meal, I asked for the check. The server gave absolutely no response. Seeing a long line of people waiting outside, I proactively asked a second time because I didn't want to hold up their business. To my surprise, the staff member snapped at me impatiently, saying, "I heard you, I have to go over there to get your bill." It was genuinely infuriating. Good foods. No services

I always find that Asian food hits the spot when I'm really hungry, so I looked online for a place that "the locals" rated highly and I came across "Jade Dumpling and Noodles" on Willamette. Let me just say that the fine people of Eugene didn't steer me wrong! My oldest son loves dumplings and I love noodles (really any type of Asian food), so this place was a gem! We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, shrimp, pork and a spicy pork and they were All Delicious! These "soup dumplings" were small and bite sized but were packed with huge savory flavors! They are made right there and are amazing! I myself had the mixed noodles. House made noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, stir fried in a delicious lite sauce, that enhanced the flavors of the dish, without overpowering it. You could taste all the ingredients and they were fresh and delicious! I cleaned the plate and now I can't wait to return to Jade Dumplings and Noodles again and try their other dishes, that I know will be tasty! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, all in all, a Great dining experience! Try them out and you'll be hooked on them, just like I am now!!!

When I walked in, I noted that it is very small... with limited seating, and pretty bare bones in the aesthetics. Probably does a lot of take-out more than dine in. There was a strong odor of burned cooking oil that was off putting. The lady at the counter was friendly, and took my order quickly. They do not have any hot tea, which would have been nice on a cold day. So I got a coke. I sat down and had to move... as the sun was coming in the window and blinding me where I sat. Other patrons came in and had to move also for that reason. They brought my food out and placed it on the table, which was nice. Portions were decent sized. The breaded chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken was mostly breading... very little chicken (see attached photo). Breading was not crispy at all... a bit mushy (I suspect they use pre-breaded chicken that was frozen, which is becoming more common... blech! Hard to make that crispy, unless double fried). The sweet and sour sauce was a little bitter... which I associate with pre-made (sysco? Not made in house) sauce. Very thin, overly sweet and a slight bitterness. Rice was ok... pretty good actually. Some might say I am too picky? But with the meal, a coke, and a tip... this was over $20... and there are other places that do this meal better for about the same price.
