Pad Thai
Makaili B.

I ordered this food (Pad Thai) on DoorDash, so I am not able to review on the service. The food I received in my opinion was disgusting, my husband who usually can eat anything couldn't even eat it. The Pad Thai was VERY sweet, and tasted like no Pad Thai I have ever had. If you like roasted peanuts and normal Thai noodles then I do not recommend this dish at all.

New Thai in the neighborhood!

Really good Thai food with no frills... Pros: This is the real deal! The flavors were spot on. Medium spice was spicy without being overwhelming. Sauces were all really tasty! Portion size was good and we loved the tin plates. Food came quickly and was nicely presented. The place was clean and had a great collection of rubber duckies on the wall as you come in. Lots of FRESH vegetables in everything!! The staff were nice and accommodating of my need to avoid dairy and all the questions I have about ingredients. Cons: No table service. You order and pay at the counter when you come in. Once food was delivered, that was all we saw of our waiter. Restaurants was a little on the loud side. There are outside tables (which we would have used if it weren't so cold out. Not their fault.) This place was well worth the visit! We'll definitely be back!

Ive never written a review but I had to, this was the best thai food I've ever had. The Penang curry was incredible

Pad Kee Mao

Mostly set up for take out but enjoyed eating in the restaurant. We had chicken Panang curry and pad kee mao- both flavorful. Thai iced teas were nice . Solid Thai food, I would come here again.

Atmosphere was quiet, peaceful and did I mention how clean it is! Good food, good service, good atmosphere. We were so excited about the food we forgot to get pics. Fresh salad rolls, perfect! I had high expectations at this restaurant because the reviews on Yelp and local people raved how…read moreamazing this place is. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was bustling. We got seated right away at a booth with a window view. My waitress was an older Asian lady. She was very nice, not too talkative, but she was on top of her things. I was craving soup and decided on the highly recommended tom kha with tofu. To start, we had thai tea, thai coffee and the shrimp triangle. For our entrees, we decided on the pad see eu (they spell it pad se eu here), panang curry. The shrimp triangles were very yummy. Definitely get those. The thai tea and coffee was good, but just a little watered. I expected the taste to last in my mouth for a little bit. But it didn't. For the soup, I was excited to taste the soup! It smelled really good and it was boiling hot. My thought after my first sip of Tom Kha was, ok, this is good, they got it, but it just wasn't quite there. I couldn't pinpoint what was missing. Then I figured out that they didn't use full coconut milk. It was just a little bit and it was the lighter version. How disappointing! I wanted the robust tang, spice and coconut like how I have at home. The entrees made me sad. I really, really wanted to love it. The panang curry should be rich, thick and creamy. Instead it was soupy. I was really expecting and wanting the curry to stick to my rice, but instead it made soupy curry rice. My daughter pointed out that the curry and the tom kha soup was the same color and consistency. I didn't want to believe, but I think they used the same base and added the appropriate toppingss and seasonings to make a soup and a curry. My saddest dish was my last one that came out. It was the pad se eu. The wide rice noodles was wet and in broken pieces. I'm Asian and I'm from Vegas via Hawaii which means we have a lot of Asian cuisines, we know our food and have friends who work in high end Thai restaurants. (Think Lotus of Siam) When rice noodles break into smaller pieces, it means the noodles are probably not fresh and got hard. To soften, the cook used extra water and the heat was not high enough to cook, so it stuck to pan, making the cook mix it around more...broken wet noodles that doesn't brown. Overall, I really wanted to love this place. It has potential. Maybe it was an off day but on that day I went, it didn't give me the wow I expected. Most of the items has the taste on point. Please don't water down the curry or use lower fat coconut cream. I'm not used to having regular brocolli in thai food either, but I guess this is what Eugene likes or what we can get. And people, share your food! Thai food is family style! Share it! Put it in the middle of the table and let the other person have some! I was people watching around my table and my table was the only one that didn't have our own entree per person. lol

The eggplant is tender and so rich and balanced in flavor, it is simply a delight to eat. We chose the Fried Tofu for the Pad See Ew and it was delicious. The Massaman curry came with a bowl of rice, brown or jasmine, as did the eggplant. We were a little concerned that the single bowl would not be enough because we were sharing the dishes family style. But it worked out. We also ordered off the special as well on the recommendation of staff chef Aria: the sausage appetizer and the Wild Mushroom Dumplings -- the presentation was striking and the cameras came out. Ordered the Painkiller which is by far one of the best cocktails on the menu. Side note: sometimes it's not quite blend long enough so chunks of pineapple block straw, but just ask them to blend a little extra so it's smoother. Last but not least: the Warm Spiced Cinnamon Sugar Donuts were delivered as promised warm and soft with a cinnamon sugar that loved every part of your fingers. But it was the quince ginger lemon curd that blew us away. Hands-down. We could not get enough of it. It's like an aphrodisiac and should be bottled and sold. Harmony was our server, and even though the model of service has changed so that you buy the food first and then our seated, during our meal she was attentive and thoughtful. My two guests were two of the most discerning diners I have eaten with and they were very delighted repeatedly expressing appreciation for both the taste and the appearance. It was also very gracious of Master Chef Hardinger to come out and say hello; he received their compliments warmly and they left saying they were excited to bring friends back. As long time Eugene residences I thought that was perhaps among the highest compliments they could give.

Gonna start with the critique, because I really love this restaurant overall. But unfortunately,…read morethere are dead roaches in the baby changing table, giving me serious pause about the cleanliness of Krob Krua. Everything looks like it's routinely clean but no one ever opens up the changing table. Really, really disgusting. When I have my hands full, it's a serious hassle to wipe down the table myself. See photo. Other than this, I really love the food here. It's delicious, texturally interesting, and they take pride in their food. They also take pride in their service. I have always had kind service from the hosts and kind interactions with the cooks. I hope they learn to take pride in their cleanliness as well.
