I picked up an order here as a DoorDash driver, and the experience was disappointing. I was running a few minutes behind because I had another delivery to complete first, which is a normal part of how DoorDash routes orders. Instead of being understanding, the manager became upset with me and questioned my professionalism. As a delivery driver, I always do my best to get orders to customers as quickly as possible while following the route assigned to me. Being treated disrespectfully for something outside my control made for a very unpleasant experience. I hope management can learn to communicate more professionally with delivery drivers, since we're all trying to provide good service for the customer. read more

I came into Olive garden a month ago and asked about a busser that worked there. The server said that Circe hasn't been here for months and asked why not she said she was fired due to sexual harassment of a co worker. I thought that's not like Circe she ran out our food a few times and always happy cheerful and has the best customer service even more than anyone else there when I asked what happened in the situation the server slipped up admitting that her and another employee were involved in making up a story that the managers believed then tried to correct herself but she already slipped up. The managers must have been in on it too. Then when I asked about Josiah they said with another employee a week later they said he was fired as well for harassment so the managers are cleaning house and setting up their employees to fire them I will never eat here again I go to another in Oregon good food terrible to their employees not good for business. They need to check their facts and actually find evidence of what they say is true cause if they treat the people who serve us this way how can we stand by and let them be abused while we eat and watch it's messed. read more

I've been here several times and it always hits the spot. Let's be real, you aren't going to Olive Garden for a fine dining gourmet meal - you're going for carbs, and carbs you shall get. Our server tonight was very hip and friendly. She quipped with us and is genuinely hilarious and very sweet. She was super busy but still paid good attention to all of her guests. She's the kind of person I would love to be friends with. We started with some fried mozzarella. I got the chicken alfredo for my main course and the chicken and gnocchi soup. My partner got the minestrone, chicken parm, and the chocolate lasagna for dessert. We both got raspberry lemonade as well. Everything was great! Sometimes the alfredo sauce is congealed but this time it was perfect. The drinks were great, the soup was great, the breadsticks were great. I left with lunch for another day and I'm already excited for it. The restaurant is surprisingly clean for how busy it is. The bathroom is also clean. There's a lot of parking but at peak hours you may need to park in the back and walk a bit. It gets super busy at dinner time pretty much every day of the week so I definitely recommend getting on the waitlist before you leave for dinner so that you get a table sooner after arriving. That's really the only complaint I have - because this is the only Olive Garden in town, it can sometimes take a long time to get a table. Even though it's expensive, I love coming here. We were seated immediately, it was very clean. The restaurant actually looked nicer than other Olive Garden's I have been to, nice decor. Our server was Leisa, she was super friendly and nice !!! I ordered an Iced tea, the Shrimp Scampi pasta and added mushrooms to the pasta. My daughter ordered the kids meal spaghetti, we added a meatball and she got the fries. Our food was great, my pasta was loaded with shrimp & vegetables. My daughter's Spaghetti looked really good, the meatball was huge, enough you could cute it into a bunch of smaller pieces. Where do I start? For the most part the staff are nice, depending on what you're getting (I get the Chicken Fettuccine with chicken), it tastes like it came out of a freezer and just heated up until it reaches a decent warmth. It's hit or miss with the breadsticks. Either they're super hard like a hockey puck, or they're soft and manageable to eat. If I could give the salad a 0* I would. It looks just like it came out of a garden sale you'd purchase at home, added a few onions, olives, bread crumbs, and pepperoncini and just threw it all in, mixed it together. Almost every time I get a salad I'm picking out old dark green lettuce. They do have handicapped parking spaces, but they're located on the side of the building, so if you need to use one, I'd look for a spot open in the front so you don't have to go so far. It just sees that they use meals in boxes then warm them up in a microwave. The Alfredo sauce tastes old, like it'd been in the refrigerator then warmed up. I highly doubt they make it each time someone orders a boat of sauce or has it in or on their meals. I've seen the hostesses take dirty dishes back, then immediately serve food, so to cut corners and don't wash their hands in between dirty and clean dishes. We had a group of 22 ladies for a farewell party today and we couldn't have been treated better. Though not expected, they seated us all together, and Levi was masterful in his waiter duties. He handled all the orders and requests efficiently, and that many people paying at the end went as smoothly as you could ever hope. That's not even to say how good the food was. I haven't been to an Olive Garden in Oregon. We went to Eugene on the spur of the moment and had to leave early so stopped at Olive Garden to grab a bite. I love their Zuppa Toscana and salad. The soup didn't seem as good as usual. It may have not cooked long enough as the kale wasn't cooked . The salad was as great as usual, though. Ambiance is standard. Food was a 3.5. [Food]: My create your own pasta was so saucy and creamy! It was hot and flavourful. Pasta was a little past al dente, but that did not matter here. I got the angel hair and creamy mushroom pasta. Desserts!! Just one word: CHOCOLATE BROWNIE LASAGNA, okay well that's three. I am biased, but this is one of my most favorite desserts on the planet. Is a slice about 800-900 calories, yes. But it really is an amazing dessert. No, it is not a lasagna covered with chocolate brownies, rather it is made with chocolate brownies in place of the pasta with vanilla and mascarpone. I really dislike having to write this review. My husband and I have been going to this OG for 12 plus yrs. We drive from Albany to enjoy lunch or do a pick up. The past couple of times have been unbelievably BAD. I always order shrimp carbonara, my husband has chicken Parmesan w/angel hair pasta. The red peppers in my dish this time were old. I couldn't chew them up I was left w/a strip of red pepper skin in my mouth wasn't very pleasant to have to take it out after being chewed. I ordered my husband his chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and salad. The black olives were old. The olives actually had wrinkles on them, which is a for sure sign that they were old. I couldn't eat them because of being afraid of getting sick so we had to trash it. The chicken Parmesan the pasta did not get switched out for the angel hair pasta. This is very disappointing. Forgot to update my review! Ordered on the app for pickup to take home. Got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken fritta and gnocchi soup. The Alfredo was made perfectly, although a tad bit lacking enough sauce in my opinion. It could definitely use a scoop more to help the noodles from drying out. Chicken was great. And I got Parmesan packets I added as well. The chicken gnocchi soup is one of my favorites for sure. Creamy, hot, and filled with veggies, a few gnocchi, and some chicken pieces throughout. Ok, so let's get this out of the way: yes, Olive Garden is not some fancy, new Italian fusion restaurant. It is what it is.. the McDonald's of Italian eateries. But I will say this: At this location they earned that 4 stars not because of the microwaved food, or ambience (I mean let's face it, you know what type of restaurant they are, I'm not kidding anyone), they earned it because of the fantastic service we received. Our server went above and beyond with our table. We weren't assholes by any means, but we were more demanding than most because of our situation. Some didn't want certain things in their salad, so our server went and made special salads for those. My daughter has Celiac, so that's a whole process. And blah blah blah... you get the idea. Our service was spectacular!! No issues, always well taken care of, and a pleasure. And yes, we tipped very well. Not once did I see our server have issue, attitude, or eye roll. She was amazing!! Consistently great food! Always above average service! A family style restaurant that makes sure all people are comfortable and happy. For a super attentive server, I can recommend Daisy. She was fast, attentive and we never wanted. Props to Miss Daisy on this visit contributing to a 5 star review! I will add photos of some of the amazing food we had. Coming from Santa Cruz, California we can be seafood snobs, this is my favorite place to go to have calamari. The calamari meat is a perfect texture, and the breading is always just right on the flavors. The salads are consistently crisp and tasty. The fettuccine Alfredo always a go to favorite, and the five cheese dipping sauce for the breadsticks I highly recommend ordering. I have friends who tell me Olive Garden isn't "really" Italian food. Well I don't care what they say. I like Olive Garden! There are 2 reasons I gave it a 4 instead of 5. The first is the noise level. There are many attractive acoustic wall decorations that help muffle noise. Buy some! It is SO LOUD that it is difficult to hear the person across the table speak. The second reason is that, although I love the 'all you can eat pasta,' I wish the first serving was smaller. I want to try a couple different toppings and pastas and I have found the only way to do that is to waste 1/2 of the pasta in my first dish. If it's an 'all you can eat,' then let me try more in smaller portions. I even asked and was told no. ‍ But I love the unlimited salads (with extra olives and onions), unlimited breadsticks, and unlimited dipping sauces. And this time I tried an Italian Margarita. Oh my. Where to begin? Actually, 1-1/2 stars. We had a gift card to eat here and knowing it's a big chain restaurant, not fine dining, we set our expectations appropriately. Besides, we both had eaten here years ago and it was OK for what it is. We were greeted and seated quickly. As we walked toward our table, the unmistakable smell of (what I interpret to be) tables routinely cleaned with only a damp rag permeated the air. Simply using a cleaning agent would eliminate this. On the other hand, it may have been the carpet. Either way, terribly off-putting. It took a while for our server to appear, but when she did she was attentive and very pleasant from that point onward. This was the highlight of the experience. The only salad they offer is mediocre, built around iceberg lettuce and I believe offering only two dressing choices. For example, they do not offer a Caesar salad as many Italian restaurants do. The wine choices are also limited, and while the Chianti was OK, it seemed overpriced at $9. My lasagna looked and tasted as if it had sat in the oven "keeping warm" for a very long time. The sauce was more brown than red. Despite this, it was only tepidly warm. I asked the server to please reheat it knowing that would only enhance the overcooked taste. It came back warmer, but not what I would call hot. My wife's minestrone was the same story- only tepidly warm, and when reheated still not hot. And she doesn't like her food particularly hot. The last disappointment was a man who appeared to be the crew chief setting a table some distance from ours yelling (and I mean yelling) over to us to see if we wanted dessert. When we replied "no thank-you," he went on to try to convince us anyway, from a distance and maintaining his loud tone. The coup-de-grace? The gift card we had been holding for quite some time had already been used and had zero left on it! We both got a good laugh out of that. I get that this is a corporate entity. But I haven't ever experienced this kind of mediocrity at Denny's, Applebee's, Original Pancake House, etc. And we have had a far better meal for similar money at Pastini here in Eugene. I assume other OG locations do better than this, so I suspect this is a local training/operations issue. In any case, I highly doubt we will go back again. read more
