VERY DISAPPOINTED TODAY! Very bad service today! Had to keep asking our server for things. She didn't even bring me my dessert and when asked seemed pissed off. When we felt a tip was not deserved the another server begged for us to leave a tip. SERIOUSLY? A tip is deserved for good service not for horrible service. This is the first time a server has to beg for a tip and wouldn't let me leave without leaving one! What poor standards is this establishment setting. read more

We occasionally been going here for the past few years and decided to go here the other day. I'm not sure if it's the same owner because I don't recognize any of the staff. Seems like they have started skimping on their food. The papaya salad is more like carrot salad. The fiery beef is dry and again full of carrots. Went there with coworkers for lunch. Quick service. Food was delicious - ordered the Chicken Lad Na noodles. Excellent portion for lunch + bowl of soup was included. You will have to wait if you go right at noon so either go at 11:45 or go at 12:45. We will be back. read more

This is a composite report of several visits to this location. The service is consistently poor and the food is never quite up to the mark. I can't count the number of times I've been served almost cold food here. I have been going here for many years because it is one of the few halal Thai restaurants in the area but now that there's others that are much better, I'm not planning to return unless there's a major revamp of their service and food quality. read more

I've gone back and forth in my mind about whether Noodle Wave deserves a 3 or 4 star. The service has always been prompt and polite on both the lunch and dinner services, and the food honestly is above the average Thai restaurant in Dallas, it's just that if I didn't work close by, then I probably would never visit Noodle Wave which is what I think a four star rating means. With the preface out of the way, the lunch combo has always been good coming with soup, 2 half entree's, and a side (usually a spring role or the fried corn patty). The standout that deserves recognition would be the Cashew Chicken Curry with Soba Noodles. As a close second, the herbal chicken as an appetizer is quite good in my opinion and is probably the item I order the most. I'd had various dishes from the Pad Kee Mow, Pad Thai, Pad See Lew, Udon (insert cooking style), all of which were tasty. read more

Cozy ambient setting. Food is amazing. Roti curry, crab meat fried rice, etc. are amongst my favorite. Definitely 4 star in food taste.

This is a delicious little find, The pad Thai was perfect and moist, and the Sukiyaki was delicious as well. The portions were good and the flavor was spot on. My only complaints is the wait... It seems like this place has way too few staff members, there were two waitresses frantically trying to take care of a packed house, poor girls. Also it is a bit on the expensive side. Be prepared to pay $30-40 for two people and wait about 35 minutes for your food. But sometimes the flavor is worth the wait ;) read more

Very cheap and you get a lot of food. It's always packed and loud hard to hear a conversation. Located in a dodgy shopping center with stores covered in metal bars so for me it's a good to go place but the food come out kinda slow if you order in person. read more

If you're looking for authentic thai food you wont find it here. The pad kee mao wasn't impressive in taste. The tom yum soup didn't taste like the delicious tom yum flavoring. It just tasted like watered down sweet and sour flavoring. Overall it was just meh. read more

I've come several times for dinner and always order the yellow curry with chicken, specifying non-spicy. They give a generous portion. The curry is sweet and very flavorful. So so so good! The interior is very ethnic and nice. Good for date nights. read more

After eating an average tasting meal, the waiter actually told me that he doesn't make money from the restaurant, but rather from tips. He handed me back the receipt and basically wanted me to add more tip to the existing amount. Needless to say, after that although we sat at the restaurant for a while, our water glasses were never refilled or dessert plate picked up. Additional waiters weren't even serving customers, just folding napkins right next to us. Very embarrassing when you are there with a group of people. I'm a big fan of this place. The food is great, and I consider myself an experienced Dallas Thai diner. I've never dined at the restaurant, but for pickup it's always been good. Make sure you try the corn patties - excellent. The fresh spring rolls were disappointing. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Closed on Mondays. I've heard Friday lunch is crowded. Update 12/9/2009 - a repeat visit and pick up of a to-go order yielded an interesting result. The cuisine here seems to have changed slightly, and seems cheaper/ not as good. Example: the chicken in our basil noodle dish appeared to be blended (yes - in a blender), yielding little itty bitty bits of ground chicken. recessionary tactic, perhaps. I'm now looking for a new Thai place and subtracting 2 stars. Too bad. read more

Have you been in Thailand?... I have not, but by brother does and he like the place and told me that this is very close to original Thai food. I have gone in lunch time with my coworkers, I didn't wait at all and the service was ok, but I prefer going weekends with my family. Sunday afternoon is almost empty and you could eat enjoying your dish without all the crowd of lunch time in the weekdays. Noodle Wave is SO delicious! I'm just getting into Thai food, and this place made me fall in love with it. The crab fried rice is my favorite, but you have to be careful how spicy you order the food. On a 5 point scale, I ordered 3 cause I love spicy but not overbearing, and 3 was just on the verge for me of too hot. I highly recommend this place! read more

Our whole party was blown away by this place. The service was warm, friendly, and efficient. All 10 or so dishes ordered were very nearly flawless. Our party of 7 was seated in under the very reasonable 30 minute wait on a Saturday night. And the place is BYOB, a rarity in Dallas. Only if this place were closer to where I live. Hard to pick favorite dishes as everything was superb but my highlights would be the crispy garlic whole fish (enough for 2 people), chicken wing appetizer, crab rangoon, pad see ew, sesame noodles and roti curry. Pretty great! The service was warm and attentive. The dishes were on point. My only suggestion would be not to order calamari in your noodle dishes, it will come chewy and over cooked. And I'm not a huge fan of the flat noodles cuz they end up being limp and gummy. read more

Who would have thought the best Thai food I think I've ever had would be in Dallas. Holy cow I'm still thinking about the unique dishes they put together. The classics were also amazing.
