Do not fall victim to these scam artist! This "company" will perform a job and while doing so cause damage, then when it is brought to their attention they will require another $45 visit fee and $35-45 service fee. When I explained to them that there were no problems until they re-keyed the locks I was told there was nothing they could do. Basically, deal with and pay us again. So, they will charge you to do another visit, just to look at the damage they caused, and charge you another fee to fix it. Scumbag scammers! Based on the first invoice, that would be $230.00 for re-keying two locks. I was contacted by the company and offered a re-visit. Sounding like this was just a way to have a face-to-face in order to intimidate me, I did refuse. I am not going to jeopardize the safety of my family just because they do not feel I should be able to write a negative review about them. But that is going to happen when you scam someone out of $100 plus dollars and then the receptionist is completely rude and refusing to hear you out. read more

This company was great!! A guy name Tom helped me out he was very knowledgeable and addressed my issue right then and there. I had a employee snap a key off in a lock and I couldn't enter through my back door at the restaurant. I called non-stop and they came out right away. I called Non-Stop about a broken doorknob on the front door of my condo. I called on a weeknight, around 7pm. Appointment was easily scheduled for the following afternoon. Our technician, Chris, was awesome. He was right on time (actually called to let me know he was in the neighborhood a little early, which worked out great). He was very professional and friendly. He talked me through what was wrong, offered a couple options, as well as his recommendation for the best fix. About 30 minutes later, I had a brand new, working doorknob that used my existing keys - which was really nice. This is the second time our condo association has used Non-Stop. Our common front door was not locking so needed a technician to come out and fix. I was able to schedule a technician the next day after I called. I received 2 phone calls to let me know the technician was running late due to his previous job and the second call was the technician giving me his ETA. I appreciate the phone calls because it shows that the company respects their customers time. Zack assessed the problem and quickly replaced our striker. I'm writing a positive review because Non-Stop locksmith stood behind their initially poor installation. They installed a gate closer for our building that would only work for a limited amount of time and then would either slam or would not close on its own. The manufacturer of the closer initially said that the closer had been installed improperly, and NonStop came out to reinstall it for free. But then the closer still didn't work properly. Working with the closer manufacturer and NonStop, our building got a completely new model of the closer installed, and it has thus far been fine. Nonstop appears to stand behind their workmanship. Even though the initial installation did not work properly, they remediated the issue. I will be using them again because they stand behind their work. read more

I took my dog for a walk and when I came home my key wasn't working on my door. After 20 minutes of struggling, I figured it was time for a professional. I googled locksmiths in Chicago and on a Saturday morning the first 5 I tried didn't even answer the phone and the only one who did actually questioned my ability of unlocking my own door "are you sure you're using the right key? More than just locksmiths...NonStop can handle all things security! I sit on the board of a 34 unit condo board and we were in need of a total new door access system (which required additional key fob readers, a new intercom system, additional cameras and a new DVR to view the cameras). This was a TALL order with complications and nuance at every turn. Eli and his team were very patient and responsive in working with us through the bidding process, making sure our building was getting outfitted with today's technology that would carry us through the near future of tech growth (we can finally review video from phone and home computers!). Jazmine (office manager?) was great about communicating w/ me often about the status of the bid then scheduling the service, etc. On the day of install, Eli came out with his installers, Adam and Slava, and walked me through their plan of attack. They were fast, diligent and professional workers. Once the work was done, Adam helped me install and learn how to manage the key fob system and the dvr system from my home computer (which felt like he was really going above and beyond). I own a medical office building and we recently fired an employee and had to change our locks. I called nonstop and Nick came out to change our locks. He showed me that our old locks were not ideal for a business and told me about a safer lock system. I was happy to go with the upgraded locks because security is a priority for my office. These guys are truly the best! We have a very large safe for our business that was in desperate need of repair. First of all, this is not the kind of safe you throw in the back of your truck and drive to a repair shop. This beast isn't moving, and requires a locksmith to come out for any needed repair. I was shocked that there were so few options to have a Lock Smith come repair a safe on location, but thankfully this wasn't a problem for Non-Stop Locksmith. They came out the same day I placed the call and came out to replace our electrical dial. The repair technician also was able to fix an issue that caused the cylinder to jam up and not open occasionally. To say I was satisfied with the repairs would be a complete understatement. This guy was great! In less than 90 minutes he had the job finished perfectly. He also walked me through the issues we were having and explained every part of the repair in the simplest terms. This place seriously saved my day. It's a cold, snowy morning and as my boyfriend was cleaning his icy windshield his door closes with the keys still in the ignition. He was already late for work and after nearly two frustrating hours of trying to hook the lock with a wire hanger, we decided it was time to call for help. We called around a few places to see if they could help and all of them seemed to be bothered by our call and said they would take over an hour or two to come out. We don't live too far away from Nonstop and I remembered seeing a sign for them so i looked them up and gave them a call for our last desperate attempt. The woman who answered our call was extremely helpful and without us even saying we were in a hurry, she said someone should be there within 15 minutes! Sure enough, less then 10 minutes later two guys pulled up next to our car. Both my boyfriend and I were not in the best of moods at this point but these guys were so friendly and nice that we immediately calmed down and felt better. Both the car unlocking and the paperwork were quick and easy and they had us on our way in less than 10 minutes.
