Chicken Marsala
Joe H.

Noli Noli Noli, what will I do if someday I move away for good? Over the past 20 odd years I've had chicken Marsala at other restaurants and they've never been able to compare to yours. I'm so glad the quality of this meal has always remained consistent since I first ordered here. Y'all are the best, and I thank you for that.

Chicken piccata, huge portions
Vera L.

Plates the big enough to feed half the town!!!! Sooo amazing, i had the chicken piccatta! It really was amazing, all entres come with salad and pasta! Recently added full bar! WOOT!!!!! Great dessert is the flute lemoncelllo! You get to keep the flute!!! How fab! Great place for lunch and dinner great! The reason why im taking away a star is because they had the doors open and i was freezing, and when i asked for our waitress to close them, she did for 30 seconds and opened them again, thanks a bunch :/

Shrimp scampi with linguini, absolutely delicious!

A friend and I just had a wonderful lunch at Noli's restaurant on their patio deck. It was absolutely positively delicious! I had shrimp scampi with linguini, and it had a ton of large shrimp, and I brought the other half home for supper. But knowing it was there, it didn't make it to supper time! THAT'S how good it was. Pasta was perfectly al dente also. My friend had lobster ravioli and she's writing her own wonderful review.

Today's special: Pan seared scallops, grilled shrimp and salmon, risotto. Superb!

We ordered pizza from Noli's tonight. The pizza was less than average. It had zero taste, was rubbery and simply put ~ bla!

Only pizza place in Winsted that delivers. It's a bit pricey, pizza is okay and it takes FOREVER for delivery.

Really enjoyed the pizza and river view at this place. Amazing how much better pizza tastes in New England...

Mario's Tuscany Grill - The Freshest Steamers Available

This is an incredible place!…read more Right from the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family. After moving to a town in Massachusetts about half an hour north of Mario's, we were thrilled to discover this restaurant since we came from an area known for outstanding dining, Mario's keeps up to that standard. The staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere are fantastic! I can honestly say I recently enjoyed one of the best meals of my life here; they never let us down. I can't say enough good things about this place, a must try!!!

Mario's in Winsted is one of those rare restaurants that doesn't just feed you -- it adopts you…read more The chefs, the owners, the servers... these people make the place feel like home in a way that should honestly be studied by scientists. If comfort had an address, it would be Mario's. We always kick things off with a small pizza for the table, because that's the law here. The bread and tomato relish? Should be sold by the gallon. I would pay an irresponsible amount of money for it. If you know, you know. Last night's table lineup was elite: * One of us ordered the veal Neapolitan -- fresh, tender veal in a vodka sauce so good it should have its own fan club. * Another went for the penne alla vodka with shrimp and scallop, which was hands‑down the best dish of the night. The seafood takes an already top‑tier vodka sauce and somehow makes it even better. As a Jersey boy, I don't say that lightly. * I decided to go rogue and step outside my usual penne vodka or steak. I wanted veal parm. I've never had anything fried here besides the calamari (which is amazing), so I figured: why not? Here's the plot twist: The veal parm was the only dish I've ever had at Mario's that didn't hit the usual Mario's standard. The veal itself was totally different from the fresh, delicious cut in the Neapolitan, and the breading had a little... funk. Almost like it had been prepped ahead and picked up a freezer‑burn vibe. Not bad -- just not Mario's‑level magical. But here's the thing: One imperfect dish doesn't change the fact that Mario's is one of our all‑time favorite restaurants. The atmosphere, the people, the consistency, the warmth -- it's all unbeatable. We love this place and will absolutely be back, probably embarrassingly soon. Mario's is home. Even when one dish misses, the experience never does.
