The designs were detailed, all were different colors, and they came in a box with separations to prevent smudging. There were even a few icing free for the birthday boy. The cookies were delicious, even with icing they weren't overly sweet. I think they were a great level of sweetness, because who wants tooth-aching sweet? Everyone who attended felt the same way, great flavor and a nice snap. I would definitely recommend this shop for dessert for parties and events!

Since I rarely meet a bakery that doesn't sell something I like, I decided to get a few things in order to form a well-rounded opinion. I chose a previously frozen chicken pot pie, a fresh apple cheese strudel, and a fresh tomato cheese focaccia. I'm happy to report that each item was delicious and tasting "made that morning" fresh. I don't know who Beth is, but she's doing a fantastic job with her baking! The staff for her farmers market at Collinsville/Canton market were very on top of things and more than happy to help you, very friendly, had folks in and out in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, I only have photos of the actual farmers market and no photos of her items, but she does have a website and she is based out of Torrington so I would definitely check her out if I were you.

Once upon a time it was a lovely, decadent little shop and we looked forward to indulging in chocolates for our Tanglewood visit. Not anymore. For the last 4 years, the service has been poor and they are out of chocolates on a regular basis. After 2020, they asked for patience which we gladly gave but they adopted dismissive staff and a lack of customer care as standard operating procedure. If you go, be prepared for disappointment.
